6:57 The symbol on the flag of the kingdom of Italy isn't anything related to fascism or Mussolini. It's the coat of arms of Duchy of Savoy which was part of the Kingdom of Piedmont-Sardinia. The state that unified Italy in 1861.

The American Flag didn't have 50 stars at that point Alaska and Hawaii wouldn't be states until 1959 so there was only 48 stars on a WW2 American flag.

I feel like it's unfair to dunk on Canada for the Red Ensign, we were the first ones to really normalize the use of Red Ensigns on land and especially the style of a Red Ensign with just the shield from the Coat of Arms in the fly. Bermuda copied us for sure, India didn't use their red ensign nearly as much as the straight Union Flag with Star of India, and the Union of South Africa adopted a similar flag to Canada's 50 years after us, and they changed it to the "Apartheid Flag" pretty quickly.
Canada made the Red Ensign cool 🫡
