Of course the Vikos water is named after the Vikos Gorge.
They bottle the water just few kilometers north of Ioannina City (just look at your t-shirt, haha!!)

Nice reaction and nice t-shirt! If you do more on Greek history, Alexander the Great (from channel Epic History TV) would be a nice series to react to, in terms of narration and viewer attraction. While Geography Now covers a lot, i think it doesn't even mention the Antikythera Mechanism, also known as the first example of analogue computer. A mind boggling object which was resting in the bottom of the sea (near Antikythera, Greece, hence its name) for thousands of years, and was randomly found during the previous century. It has only been few years since scientists had enough technology to examine it further, in order to understand its complexity.

Actually our earthquakes aren't mild at all since we are on the plate boundary (hence the so many mountains and our volcanoes). Mainland has seen many strong earthquakes but most are in the seabed and they range from 6,8 to 8+ in the Richter scale. Those big ones aren't common tho and they come far and wide apart chronically speaking. Most recent one was the 7,1 in Samos in 2020. It generated a tsunami which struck both Samos and Izmir in Turkey (most damages where in Turkey because the earthquake lifted up the island up to two meters in some places). On the island 19 people were injured but two teenagers died because during the earthquake they were passing a derelict old building and one wall collapsed on them killing them both. On the Turkish side unfortunately was worse with 114 deaths and 1,034 injuries.

Yes, I remember the one in 2020. That's always a terrifying experience, I can imagine. That and the wildfires, however the latter aren't always natural... 😔

@@paulfrompauland yes they aren't. Either by sheer stupidity or malice or just ignorance we have managed to burn down most of our little forests.

what he means about Corfu is that u can have vacations as a family, but Mykonos for example is not. some places are attracted by some type of tourist ( there r places that are more tolarable towards gay ppl than others, its not my personnel opinion its just a fact dont hate me) some places are huge in nightlife some our low key and dont have huge clubs.. Halkidiki for example althought is mainland it has many summer camps for kids ( the water there is warmer than Ionion )

I can imagine how much time it would take him to learn it all for such info-overload materials. I've seen their video about Poland as well, and it's actually better when he doesn't try 😉
