When do you see a violinist get so much attention in a band? When you play with JILL - "Awarded at numerous international competitions, including the highest prize in the Japanese musician competition. While attending Tokyo University of the Arts, she performed in various chamber music groups in Austria and Italy, and was well received" :)

    Well, everybody loves Jill :)
If you want to see how much: "Fuki Commune" - "Juliet".
It's about Fuki (Unlucky Morpheus' vocalist) killing Jill/Juliet to have her all to herself, awesome song as well, like most everything from Fuki/UM.

      Interesting... 🤔
I have to say everything I've heard so far has been great. So I'm thinking you may be correct 🙂👍

Fun Reaction! Hadn't started watching you Channel yet. Fun Fact: In an interview about the Quadratum project, bass player Ogawa (Bass Instructor at the Japanese Musician's Institute) laughingly called Quadratum the 'Jill show-off project' 🎻🔥 🙂 But he and Jinya and Fumiya all participated, which shows the tightness of the friendship between the other Ankimo (translated - 'monkfish liver' - AKA - Unlucky Morpheus) members, and their love and respect for Jill-chan. I have also seriously lost my ❤ to Jill (and Fuki, Miyako, Koga, and Yukina)

Awesome Patrick. Cool to see that the band members are close. And Jill, of course deserves all the ❤️, respect and admiration for sure.🙂🤘✅
On a seperate note, I can't believe I said "Has anyone heard the expression waifu" watching this back was kinda hilarious😅

When do you see a violinist get so much attention in a band? When she is the best rock/metal violinist in the world and can play stuff most guitarists can't play. If you want to see the only other violinist in her class, go back to the 70's and 80's and Jean-Luc Ponty, who basically invented metal violin.

Robby Steinhardt from Kansas also did some stellar work in a hard rock context and was IMO a better songwriter/composer than Ponty, though not as virtuosic an instrumentalist as Jill or Jean-Luc.

If you liked _Dance of Eternity,_ perhaps take a look at _Tales of the Destinies_ by Babymetal, as it's a tribute to that song in particular (and to Dream Theater in general). It has only been performed live once, at the Tokyo Dome in 2016, but if you can find a video of that, it would sure be a reaction worth seeing 🙂

Hey Andreas. Tales of the destinies is awesome🤘 Unfortunately, I binged babymetal a couple years back before I knew I was going to do reactions😔 great recommendation though 🙂👍
