Thank you for the great information. I'm traveling to the Philippines in a couple of months and would like a 1-year stay. However I no longer have my old Filipino passport nor my birth certificate. I do have a US Passport that notes country of birth and my US naturalization document from 50 years ago. I'm wondering if these will be sufficient to gain the 1-year Visa.

Myself have dual citizenship, every time I travel to the Phils. with my husband and my kids, I always avail of the Balikbayan Program (RA 6768) , to which my whole family enjoy a 1 yr visa stamped in their passports. however, you have to inform the immigration officer that you want to avail the BB program. There might be some documents required to show, to be able for the family to fit the program.
