I extend my tourist visa today.
    Due date July 28.
    They gave me a penalty!!
Last week there was a Typhoon and all metro manila was flooded. Zero tolerance and credit. This is how they treating foreigners!! Sounds like extortion to me.

    Hello Ma’am Jocelyn,
I was born in the United States of America, which means I am a U.S. citizen. My mother, who is Filipino, brought me to the Philippines when I was 3 years old. Since then, I have not returned to the U.S. and have overstayed in the Philippines for several years.
This month, my mother is planning a vacation for me to visit her in DUBAI, and I already have my ticket. Is it possible that I will be offloaded at the airport because I overstayed?
Can you answer my question, or give the best idea please?

Ok, so your video is the best so far.
I've had a hard time figuring out what to do about my trip this November.
I actually arrived from USA LAX.
I will be going to catarman, Northern Samar. They have no immigration office.
I plan on staying between 3 and 4 months 90-120 days.
I already booked my flight in. And I booked an ongoing flight to Singapore within the 30 days. But I don't want to go to Singapore.
I would love to hire you to help me facilitate my Visa extensions for this trip. And in the future. Is that possible?

Hey Jocelyn, immigration does not tell you that you cannot use the online system if you have been here for 12 months or more.

    Hello all :)
I have just realized that my return flight to Australia will be on the 31st day of being in the Philippines :( (on my 30 day visa free trip)
what are my options here it is just the 1 day over should I get an extension once I am there ? or because it is just the on day (or part of a day) should I not worry about it ?

The extension is accepted (both online and at Bureau of Immigration) only after arrival date (Passport stamp and e-travel).

Hello Mam Jocelyn. Thank you for your channel and all the information you give. My question is about extending Visa from the web site. I guess you need to pay (as extended from a Bureau of Immigration). On the web, what are the payments accepted ?

@@AdventuresinAmericaUSA1 Hi Mam Jocelyn. My experience about online payment on the web site of the Bureau Of Immigration is that credit cards are accepted (Visa, Mastercard, ...) ... but when you go further in the payment process, you'll see that the transaction is process is subcontracted via Maya Online payment. It means that your card AND your bank need to accept Maya (which was not my case on the bank side). Travelers need to check that point before departure with their bank.

I stayed 30 days, did the next step visa for 29 days, for a total of 59. I booked a flight from Cebu to Houston on Day 59. Unfortunately, my flight was delayed and then put me 1 hour into day 60 when it stopped off in Manila enroute to Houston. Guess what? The immigration officer stone cold sent me to pay like 5,000 pesos fine at the cashier before allowing me to go to my connecting flight. No mercy, be prepared to pay if you are 1 minute over your visa stay, so either extend or pay the 5,000 pesos for an extra minute or hour of fun in the Phils :)

If you're just a green card holder and haven't been issued an American citizenship yet, it means you are still a Filipino citizen. You may still be qualified for an indefinite stay in the Philippines.
