@@herminiarespicio266 frozen meat is not allowed. You have to get a permit.
Hi, 200 USD max value in your bagages its almost not possible .. Custums department schould work together with Tourisim and immigration departments to try get a really easy, flexibel and logical roles for the visitors to welcoming them as it simply schould be ..
Another clear and useful guide to the rules. I am always stressed just before travelling to the Philippines These guides from Jennifer always help me to prepare.
I just noticed this video was out 9 days ago but i only had the notification bell 4 hours ago? However, here's looking forward to my trip back home in just a few months. Thank you Jennifer, you're such a great help to your mga kababayan, and i've always relied on your travel updates for quite sometimes.
This is an awesome video and so useful. One of your best yet. Cheers JT!
Siguro po tsamba tsamba lang ang nasisita at hindi nasisita sa customs. Kaya mas mabuting sumunod na lang po tayo sa mga patakaran. TYVM Jen sa mga updates mo.
Hi Jennifer, thanks again for a very concise and informed customs briefing! My buddy is visiting this month. I shared you briefing on all the necessary "things you need to know or do" when traveling to the Philippines. He's bringing me a bottle of men's colognem, otc drugs, and snacks... We were wondering about customs. You address all my questions. You didn't mention "food porn". I was hoping he bring me pics BBQ brisket, sausages, sweet potato pie, potato salad, enchiladas and crispy tacos! I guess those would get confiscated huh? Thanks again!
Thank you Jennifer. Its very informative. Love it. 😊❤️
Thank you ms jen very imformative more power your channel Godbless stay safe always
Thanks for this, maliwanag at tama ka Miss dapat diyan na sa atin mamili..Bonding narin ng family.❤
Thanks, nice to hear the Do & Don’t to your vlog. Very interesting, Keep a good work.🎉❤
The problem with making a declaration via etravel, is that you are providing sensitive information very early. Early enough for bad elements to plan for your arrival at the airport or on your way home. Yes, on your way home! Declaring that you are carrying over $10,000 is enough for mischievous individuals to intercept you once you leave the airport. Be careful because of airport history everywhere not only the Philippines experience such crimes. It happens at banks too in the Philippines as experienced by someone. Do a manual declaration especially when you have things of substantial value to declare. Don't give scrupulous individuals a chance to intercept you.
Thanks Jennifer good watching your vlog again . God bless you .
Thnks again for updated info...GODBLESS..
Thanks Jennifer for the information God Bless you and have a wonderful weekend 😊
This is quite helpful. Thanks, Jenn!
First up: Kudos to Jenni for trying her hand at information about customs regulations, that has to be the most inconsistent and fast changing part of airtravel. I tried a few times to get a comprehensive list of items, but usually it doesn't exist for the public. So coming from germany, i usually stick to the customs information the german embassy in Manila publishes in collab with PH customs. The two items that confuse me the most in this internet age and that have been on the list for a decade now and never changed: sexually explicit material and night vision goggles? What am i gonna do in the PH? Sit in my dark hotel room at night and read pron magazines in the dark with my night vision goggles? lol Never thought to bring either items on my travels haha
Thank you for always giving such helpful information
Thanks for the very informative video Ms. Jen.

Hi Jennifer thanks for the information, it's very helpful.
Thank you for today's video
Great job again Jennifer. This vlog is so informative and just in time for my next trip to the Pinas. Just a suggestion for your next vlog: what are the requirements to bring your pets with you.
What about glutathione injectables? Can we bring to Canada?
Thanks for the general info.
Thank you for the info,so helpful, hod bless
I'm so happy to find that flame throwers are apparently not prohibited in the Ph.
😆🤣
Thank you this was very helpful.
Very good explanation ❤
Thanks for the info ..❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for all the infos Jennifer good to know before we go! 👍🏼
Thanks for sharing ❤god bless
Thanks for the good information Jennifer. I have been to the Philippines several times, and while there have experienced power failures. (one pretty nasty typhoon which knocked the power out for days) Is there any prohibited electronics such as frequency and voltage converters that can be hooked up to a battery for back up power.? Batteries being pretty heavy I would purchase that locally but I'm not sure of electronic inverters availability locally. I would be bringing a small inverter that weighs not more than 10 lbs and a related battery charger weighing several pounds? Anything electronic I would be bringing in would not be taken back to the U.S., as I'm renting a condo and would leave the electronics there permanently. Thanks for any info you can supply.
Thank you so much it helps a lot!! God bless
thank you Jennifer
Hello I now have flown into terminal 3 four times since August .. What a contrast first time in August it was fast about 20 minutes whole thing since then it has been downhill on Wednesday took 80minutes and lots behind me had longer delays,
Only 2 properly manned stalls with one partly being used for other visa requirements . I have this type of delay at t1when departing but now getting into the country .Government has said it is improving I don't see that down on ground . I have flight in and out terminal 1 next week not looking forward to to build in delays there. Hope the government will do something shortly as there plenty of other asian countries doing it so much better
I do not know if custom is checking me for illegal items or just things they want to fault me so they have a different motive behind it like monetary
Suggestion, Customs SHOULD made a written rules and regulation or information about Do's and Don't's to bring in the Philippines through Philippine Embassy or having a sites or links so that people should know and aware.
Thanks, I did not know that I need a letter from my Doctor about my prescriptions.
Parang humigpit yata ng husto ? Pwede dalhin na lang container or bottle ng medicines prescribed ng doctor indicates name. of owner at dosages?
@@joselaverniyabut9298 Thank you. Salamat sa impormasyon ay pinahahalagahan.
Yes, they can check your bag or luggage but it must be in front of you. Turn on your video or audio & focus it in your properties but not on those agents...
For money, the best is send it via remittances and collect it in the Philippines (pick up) or just deposit to your bank account in the Phils
Thank you for info
Very informative video, thank you very much ! I think my favorite part is when you mentioned
'shop local', support the local economy :) I like that.
Jennifer, thank you for this very valuable information. I am planning to move to the Philippines, and this info helped me very much. Thank You. 😊😊😊😊

Hi Miss @Jennifer Terri. Updated requirements sana para sa mga tourist (foreign nationals and balikbayans) papuntang Boracay. Thanks po
Hi Jennifer. Thank you always for your very informational video. Is there anyway you can provide us information on how to bring pet (dog) to the Philippines? Thank you. Appreciate you 😊
Can you include information vlog coming from the Philippines going back home to other countries such as the US or others. If you have information such as this, please provide. It will be very useful and informative.
Great video, thank you. I am assuming SEEDS for growing veggies fir personal use ( a small garden) I will need an import form?
Always so helpful Jennifer I always recommend the Philippines to people when they ask what my favourite country to travel is. I am arriving late next week from Australia and have already organised the taxi in one of your previous videos. He seems like an awesome guy.
As for the gadgets, I always bring 2 laptops and 2 phones (one to use there and the other a backup in case mine drops or I get pick pocketed haha) bu this time I am bring a few extra phones to donate to an orphanage to perhaps give to teenagers that cannot afford them. I bring medication but the doctors letter is accompanied with it.
Your channel is VITAL for people to see before travelling there as you do all the hard work telling us all rule changes and "Do's & Don'ts".... for us to find out all of this information we would be spending many hours reading websites and watching different videos on CZcams. Thankyou so much!
They can't afford service either, douche.
@@johnclark7973 what an ignorant thing to say. You hear of free wifi??? Dont be a troll mate....
Which taxi she recommended?
there is a backlog with the balikbayan boxes being released sa port. So make it 6 months ahead instead of 3 months.
Can anyone please clarify what it means to be able to bring P10000 ($200) worth of goods? Shoes and clothes alone are already worth way more than that.. if we bring a laptop, that's already over $1000. It doesn't make any sense
Thank u Ms Teri, if makasagot po kau🙏♥️🙏
What about bringing packets of SEEDS into the Philippines? I was thinking of bringing some sealed heirloom seeds to grow my own food there someday. These obviously are not LIVE foods and dont have bugs on them. They are in a sealed packet and never opened. Based on a cursory review it seems this should be OK. But I wanted to check with you to see if you have heard anything about this or not.
Thank you so much for your kindness and hard work in providing all this information to us. Are you married to a foreigner yourself? You seem to know all the ins and outs for expats so it makes me think you have a foreigner husband.
Anyway, keep smile'n and God bless you and your family!
Radio communication is for ham operators who need a Philippine's receptacle license from the ntc from, there own country to bring their amateur radio in all radios have to be on the license including serial numbers of equipment.
Minsan yong mga ganitong vlog ng bibigay lng ng stress sa mga bebeyahe 😅
This makes me not even think of going there anymore.. this is depressing.. i know there are rules to be followed but it becomes too much.. i know family likes "pasalubong" but everything is limited.. so why even bother..
Jennifer, are pocket knives and /or multi tools allowed to bring in within my checked baggage ??
Miss jen.,please explain thoroughly regarding bringing old jewelries to the philippines.do we need to declare it?kahit matagal na yong mga jewelry dala dala lang pag nag bakasyon sa mga anak
Always appreciate your videos… I am guilty of bringing in half of the forbidden items you have in your video. Never once have I had a problem. I pack several balikbayan boxes and one has a styrofoam ice chest with frozen beef steaks from the US… Never once had a problem… And the steaks were far better than any steaks in the Philippines… I also send a lot of questionable items through LBC…
Just before Covid I arrived with a couple of packages of Nathans hot dogs in cold packs in my luggage. Yep customs confiscated the hot dogs. I once mailed several big sausages and some other American food to an expat friend who had been a long time in the P.I. He got that package Ok. Go figure.
My first trip there 23 years ago we handed the customs guy our paperwork with a discreet thousand peso bill tucked underneath. We were happy there was no need for that
On subsequent trips.
Good video...I live in Las Vegas . When I go to the Philippines I leave my loaded dice at home
Hi Jennifer, i just want to verify what is the process on goods bought at duty free store from origin country and bringing it through a connecting local destination. Like, if i bought liquor from a duty free shop of the originating country which will definitely be more than 100 ml. And i am travelling to davao via manila international airport, is there any issue of carrying these liquors on the local flight as my check in baggage were automatically transferred by the airline. My worry is entering the local departure area where there will be security check again for goods being brought in the plane. Thank you for all your helpful videos.
Hi, it is mentioned processes food as also limited to 20kg. Is chocolates, popcorn and snacks , chips fall into this category?
Hi Jennifer you mentioned earlier that on a flight you only need to do one of the forms per family but when it comes to bringing in $10,000 or less, can each person bring for example $9,500 and still only fill out one form for a 2-person family or is it best for each person to go ahead and fill out their own individual form? Thank you
My personal experience is that each person should fill out their own form, always.
I have been to more than 100 countries in the last 30 years. Sometimes alone sometimes with family and/or friends and have seen just about everything that can happen in customs lol 😂.
One advantage of using separate forms is quantities of items with limits. You would think if you are arriving with your spouse the customs officer would simply double the limit of those items.
It depends on the customs officer you are dealing with at the time. This is especially true in countries outside of the west (Asia, Africa & S.A.).
Another advantage is being able to get into separate lines when making your way through customs. Sometimes it is much faster that way.
Depending on who you are traveling with, you might not want to have you and your luggage combined with theirs.
If a customs officer decides to do a thorough search of your luggage and/or the luggage of the person you are traveling with, they will search both.
Also, if they find ANYTHING they don’t like, you are both in trouble.
So I highly recommend that you fill out separate forms and remember to them you are a foreigner wanting to enter THEIR country.
Most customs officers are very suspicious people especially if they have been doing it for awhile.
I hope this helps 😊
Cheers
Paki indicate din ang limation or limits , gaano karamihan ang Hindi Pwede… Nakakalito na ngayon , sabi nga ng iba, iba ngayon at iba din nuon …

Hi Jennifer, I’m traveling with my mother in a couple of months and from my understanding we only have to fill in one declaration form for both but I want to know is can I bring 2 bottle of liquors or 4 ?
Hi Jennifer, thx for the update.just I want to know.can bring TV 32' .I'm not Filipino but my family in the Philippines.
Jennifer, if we buy duty free from Korea/incheon , do we have to pay when traveling domestically for the duty free products.
hello, just want to ask where or which site do you find the file about the quantity of items to be considered as personal that is in 14:17 ? just want to check it for myself. Thank you
Hello Jennifer! Do you know any special precautions needed to be taking into consideration when traveling to the Philippines with precious metals such as gold and silver coins/bars that are clearly stamped. Any information you might have would be greatly appreciated☺
The value of $10,000.00 will be used to determine if allowable.

Hello Jen. Can I bring in chocolates? Should I declare them as "foodstuff" ?
thank you for such great information Jenni :-) can a person bring in packets of seeds in original sealed packet?

Thank you very much for this informative video. I’m just wondering is it 2 bottes of wine per person or per family ? I will be traveling with my 15 years old son next week I was wondering if we could take 4 bottes as we are 2 people 😁
Hi, it's 2 bottles per person, maximum 1500 ml total (per person). In your situation, you + son can bring 4 bottles. Make sure the other 2 bottles are in his luggage. Cheers! 🍾🥂
Strange thing I have never been searched or stopped by customs when arriving in Manilla just showed my passport and walk straight out of the airport was i lucky or do they trust the security checks from my departing airport Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
Very helpful info as I plan to be in Cebu for 2 weeks this April. So if I have a pill travel container (clear plastic box for my daily supplement vitamins for 14 days), there's not going to be an issue with customs? I suppose if they toss them out I can go to a pharmacy and buy some.....just wondering if this will create any issue when arriving. Thank you again Jen!
have you found a solution for this? Were you managed to get in with Supplements?
@@Castapher If you have to check in your baggage for the airline, there won't be a problem. That's what I did. Carry on might be a different story - I can't speak on that one though.

Hello Jennifer, ok lang po ba Yong dove soap na 20 pcs or weight of 2kls? Thanks po!
Hi mdm slmt po idea,❤
We flew into NAIA last December for a vacation, and after clearing immigrations, and walking towards customs, they just waved us through as we were approaching. The three of us pushing 3 baggage carts with 6 checked and 6 hand carried bags in total. We never even slowed our walking pace, and they didn't ask or make any attempt to collect the declaration forms. They just smiled, waved and wished us a nice day. Coming back a month later, and clearing US immigrations and customs in LAX. I never saw any signage, line or anything saying US Customs. At both ends customs was pretty much non-existent.
Because I guess they know that your following the rule as your willing to declare anything you ganno bring, but if your trying to hide without declaring it for sure they will do something ,it seems like they give consideration upon your visit 🙂
Same here. No issues
