Hi Jenni, following your video i have a problem at 01:35 . After putting in my e-mail address i waited for 5 minutes, but didn't receive any OTP. Can't i use my german e-mail address for this? It happened to me with registering for a Saudi visa, that they didn't take my german e-mail addresses from various e-mail providers. Thank you for your answer ! PLEASE ANSWER ME, WHAT THE PROBLEM IS - Maramaing salamat !

Had registered for E-travel prior to arriving in the Philippines. When I arrived and went through customs. They never asked or checked for it. Easy peasy!

I'll make a sample you're going to the Philippines Tuesday 11:00 a.m. you can do that on Saturday let's say the 5th can you get the Philippine the 8th and you did it like 7:00 am in the morning

Very good as usual Jennifer ! I entered Clark last week no issues and I did the customs also. THe scanner couldnt read the code so the officer entered it manually and was all good. I like it much easier than paper. Of course some people complain about everything but this is pretty good IMHO.

No Clark wants it filled up whether you declare anything or not. Manila on the other hand only wants it if you have something to declare.

Just be careful what website you register there is a fake website asking money they are scamer.. e travel is free.. anyway thank you for sharing this❤

Done it etravel.gov.ph I know the fake ones done the old one many times ..This was free . Re-registered again .. This time seems to be ok ..

Hi Jen, arrived in mactan Cebu today but they wouldn't give us the option to do the customs declaration on paper but only through the link on the QR e travel site ...... It was chaos really confusing passengers

Jennifer, if I will be staying more than 30 days and plan to get a visa waiver/extensions, do I still need an onward ticket?
Unfortunately yes.The 30 days visa on arrival will only be issued with an onward ticket. You need that visa on arrival to get into the country and then get your extension (if you want to do it immediately after arrival, there's a 24/7 immigration desk in the public area of NAIA T3). It's a bit of a Catch 22, you need the visa to get the extension and in order to get said visa you need the ticket. Get a cheap ticket you won't use or if you're lucky enough a ticket you can cancel without fees.
@wradak I have done it before, but I was curious because Jen didn't mention it this time.
@@brucesmith9206 As far as I'm aware there was no change in law or procedure, maybe that's why it hasn't gotten any mention.

@@johnnytx45The website of the Philippine Embassy says on visa-free entry:
"IMPORTANT!
If you are eligible for visa-free entry, you must still be able to present, at the Philippine borders, the following documents:
1. Your passport valid for at least six (6) months after the applicant’s date of departure from the Philippines; and
2. An outbound flight ticket within the thirty (30) day period from date of arrival."
The regulations are still the same and Immigration can check for your outbound ticket if they want to and deny entry when you don't have one. That doesn't mean every immigration officer will check, but it also doesn't mean they won't. In 10 years of quarterly travels to the PH they maybe checked for my ticket 30% of the time. Arriving without a return/onward ticket is still just a gamble, and it can be an expensive one. Airlines on the other hand have never checked for my return ticket.

haven't been in the Philippines for like14 years.
Do they still have those thermal scanner at the airport where they scan the arriving passengers for fever or something?

Kararating ko lang from USA March 4, 2024 wala na yong ETravel requirement dito sa Philippines.
Hi po. Yung immigration po ba yung nagsabi? Kasi confused ako.. today na sana ako magregister for etravel kaso may App na sila and need pa nila e approve yung account natin ng within 7 days.

Yes, it's best if you get a fake onward ticket. Jennifer has a link in the description area. Yes it's a waste of money but it is what it is.
Last time I used it my flight number was not known in the system and it wouldn't go through with the registration. They present you with a list of flight numbers but no way to enter 'free text' . And there is no warning or comment .
I finally got through by putting another flight number that was known between the same airports.
It's the Philippines, be ready to have patience (and out of the box thinking) filling it in .. Good luck

You mentioned that if your ticket return date is over 30 days, to put the date of that ticket as your return and explain that you will extend. You used to recommend that we buy a throw away ticket with a departure date of less than 30 days. Are you now indicating that this is no longer neccessary?
