Do you actually know someone who has successfully extended their tourist visa online? (Not the visa waiver/first extension)

I have been in Philippines for over 10 years, and decided to use E-services. First thing I found out is only 1 and 2 month extensions are offered, which validated the CZcams comments that 6 month extensions are no longer available. I filled out the form and after submittal it said I didn't qualify and to go to the nearest Immigration office. I went to a local immigration office and got the 2 month extension. The immigration officers told me that if I go tothe main office (In Intramurial) that I could still get the 6 month Visa. Great secret.

6 months no longer available not even for my wife who is German citizen but PI born. Luckily she can get one year balikbayan upon entry. After that it's a visa run or two months. For me, it's SRRV time.

If I, as a pensioner, decide to spend my retirement in the Philippines, I will have the problem of not being able to get an annual visa and everything else is unreasonable. You cannot expect an older person to have to leave the country from time to time in order to get a residence permit again.

PH is not the ideal country for foreigners to settle foreigners in PH can't own properties full business ownership don't enjoy same rights of Filipinos & many are deported Foreigners can obtain PH citizenship if born & raised in PH like the prominent Spanish Ayala family which is not the case of expat newcomers The PH Dream is real for rich Filipinos only

Some are interpreting Circular 2024-001, dated 4/4/2024 and immediately effective as eliminating both (1) any one extension longer than 2 moths (no more 6 months as shown in the video; and (2) no extensions are possible after your 12th month in PH. This last part is subject to multiple interpretations because the helpful chart shows nothing after the row entitled "Extensions during 7th-12 months", implying to some that there are NO LONGER any extensions beyond your 12th month. Where can we get official confirmation of the proper interpretation of this Circular or at least the interpretation that's going to used no matter what the words say?

My husband booked a 6 weeks return flight to Philippines from UK. We forgot that since I’m not flying with him he is only allowed to stay 30 days visa free. Is it possible to apply for an extension at the bureau of immigration in the Phil or shall he apply a visa in UK before he travel?

Question - my partner already booked for 34days prior the extension request. Will he be allowed to enter our country and just go to BI in the airport to request for an extension upon his arrival? Or can I help him through e-services with his info but Im the one who will process it from the Phil but he hasnt arrive here yet so it will be in advance prior to his arrival?

When he arrived at the airport, and passed through immigration, the immigration officer placed a stamp inside his passport, that stamp is his visa and it will have the date of his arrival.

@@josepanicucci8591 I believe that you can become a citizen By meeting several criteria including the length of time you have been in the Philippines continuously. I had watched a video where a gentleman explained the process of how he could become a citizen as well as be allowed to purchase and own land as a citizen.
