He's an engineer, not a combattant. It makes sense that his fighting skills is lacking and needs something to ensure he doesn't fall behind.

Venom (blatantly favoring Marvel) and Batman Beyond v. Spider-Man 2099 (blatantly favoring DC) have come along the exact same throughline. That, or appeasing a fanbase directly after a match they realized too late would be a stomp (eg. Natsu v. Ace *directly after* Zoro v. Erza). In fact, I'd argue it goes both ways; there isn't a single repeat universe on the show that hasn't gotten a matchup that doesn't blatantly feel like giving a toxic, upset fanbase a free win. Dragon Ball gets Android 18, DC gets Darkseid, Marvel gets Black Widow, Naruto gets Naruto himself, Street Fighter gets Ryu's salty runback, etc.

It's worth noting that Tony has also been trained in hand-to-hand combat by Cap himself, because even Cap recognized that Tony relying entirely on his armor suits was a weakness that could be exploited if an enemy were to corner Tony where he had no access to his various armors. And Batman himself has outright admitted before that if he were to fight Cap, there's a good chance that Cap would win that fight, though it would take Cap a while to pull it off. Tony is no slouch in a fight, even without his armor. Sure, Batman would have been a better hand-to-hand fighter in the end, but not enough to just totally flatten Tony. And with Tony's armor at his disposal, it was honestly just a matter of time before Tony landed the killing blow. Tony simply had far too many options available, and Batman was racing against the clock (literally) before the Hellbat killed him, so Tony could have very easily just bought time with his massive arsenal of armors until the Hellbat finally killed Batman through overuse.
Not to mention the onboard A.I. can pick apart Batman's fighting prowess and create countermeasures for Stark - just like what he did to Cap in Civil War. He was getting trounced badly, until F.R.I.D.A.Y. analyzed Cap's fighting data and began to create countermeasures to fight back and turn the tables... until he lost thanks to Bucky sacrificing that artificial arm and Cap damaging the Arc Reactor with the shield he uses.

The more recent version of the Godbuster annihilated the E-Scape (a whole cyber-universe) in one shot. Not to mention Stark made an armor out of an entire cyber-universe - in the events he doesn't have any armors on hand.

I think you're confusing FORGING with BUILDING. Most consistent versions of Batman has always designed AND built all his suits, gadgets, batmobiles, batplanes, bat-tanks, etc BEFORE handing the BLUEPRINTS to Lucius Fox for MASS PRODUCTION. Overall, I'd say Tony is better at ROBOTICS and Bruce is better at AUTOMOBILE ENGINEERING. But they are BOTH EQUAL when it comes to the broader field of MECHANICS and COMPUTER SCIENCE.

I was hoping to see other stuff Batman's Insider suit, Justice Buster,(eventhough it's specifically designed for the justice league) and final Bat Suit in this fight.
I'm not sure if you know this, but if it was put into the analysis, it was factored into the victor. They didn't use other suits due to time and budget constraints.
Especially with a literal set of iron man armor that lives inside of him, aside from that he knows Taekwondo, karate, boxing, not to forget being good at most midair combat and is generally pretty fucking fit.

Nah, because that fight has inevitabilities. This fight is useless to have prep because it wouldn't help Batman with someone like Tony. Honestly, it would give Tony the advantage because it would give him a chance to build a suit specifically to counter the Hell Bat while Batman doesn't even build his own weapons and wouldn't really be able to achieve anything with his prep. As brilliant as Batman is with his prep, it's as a detective and finding weaknesses in opponents. However, Tony is a normal man who builds his own suit and would be coming in with a completely new armor. So, Bruce is not going to find anything there, and there's no way in hell he would ever in a million years hack Friday on his own.

While it is true that most of Batman's equipment is built by others while Tony builds his own, Batman is very much capable of building his equipment which he does sometimes depending on the urgency or importance and he does take part in designing most of his equipment, only thing is that he just doesn't have a lot of time. Tony's life revolves completely around being Ironman while Bruce is living two lives, he prioritises his life as Batman ofcourse but he does put effort in trying to help others as Bruce Wayne through Wayne Enterprises. Comic book battles can have an unbelievable number outcomes, after all they are fabricated. Regarding this Death Battle, Tony's utilisation of the Ironman suit at the beginning was juvenile, Batman used a mere spec of his gadgets, gadgets which could have allowed him to best tony and instead he focused on using one of his suits which is unlike him. While Batman will forever be my favourite hero and I will always be bias towards him as I believe he can always become victorious, I do acknowledge that Tony is also just as capable of being victorious, I just feel that the death battle did not do either of these two justice. Still enjoyed it though.

@@retronerds6884 I could go more in depth, but this will suffice as an example. To date it is extremely debated whether or not the ironman suit is impervious to an emp. No evidence has proven it can and there has been an instance in which his suit shut down momentarily to protect itself from the emp (which makes no sense as the circuits would still get fried). But lets say that magically Tony's suit survived the emp, it would have given Batman an opening. Further more an emp or an em gadget could be used to combat Tony's nano tech.

Especially the God Buster would have no such weaknesses if he is able to compete with reality warpers like those they said he did.

Tony had enough preparation to know who Bruce was and find him on the watchtower as well as understand that he was dangerous enough to warrant sneaking nanobots into his body in the first five minutes of the fight mean that Batman new Tony to. Alfred used the Batcomputer to hack Tony's communication. Try as he could, he could not regain control of his communications, and was bombarded for months, several times a day with the death tolls in Gotham, victims of Joker, Zsazz, and the other murderous maniacs of the asylum, no longer held in check by Batman, in lurid, gory detail.
Death battle is very wrong and biased, Batman can easily dodge a lot of iron mans attacks. In the comics THEY SAID THAT HE HAS “infinite knowledge” so he should be much smarter, and Batman is much more skilled, and his his hand to hand combat is WAY better Batman slays
There’s a lot of problems I have with this battle, what with the feats they used for both the Hellbat and Godbuster armors being exaggerated by quite a bit. Like the Hellbat beating Darkseid never happened and if they had read the comic they would clearly see it barely made a scratch on Darkseid, same for the Godbuster vs the celestials, that armor did not last long and took Ghost Rider possessing an old dead celestial body just to beat them. Who the fuck on Death Battle’s team came up with Goku Black vs Reverse Flash? Not only is that a complete and utter mismatch, those two have NOTHING in common besides being evil doppelgängers. They said this season was going to be the most requested fights by fans, but there’s no way in hell that is one of them.
You’d be surprised how much non VS debaters function off of “These two are kinda similar, it’d be cool if they fought.” Doesn’t help that Goku Black became popular around the same time that the CW flash show became popular with Reverse flash as the villain.
I felt like Batman should’ve won, Stark is just as smart as Wayne, but Wayne is a master at manipulation, contingency planning, and of the martial arts. A fist fight with Batman won’t end well at all, so without all the suits in use, and stark only using his regular suit Batman would’ve had an advantage. Technically, Batman can hack Stark’s suit as well (had brother eye been brought into play) and since it has happened with Stark’s previous A.I Javis, via ultron, the fight would’ve been decided as batman
"contingency planning" is out of the question when you're pitted to someone you've never encountered before, remember. it's DeathBattle. a fistfight definitely gives Bruce an advantage, but then again. Tony is aided by AI's assisting him which actions he can do. his AI can analyze fighting patterns, and assist him in CQC, even without that, Tony is also trained by Captain America, Black Panther even Shang-Chi. so Tony can stand his ground. but Bruce still has advantage in CQC because of his vast experience in fighting. but Tony is also experienced in hacking, so he'd also have countermeasures against hacking, Backup AI's is one of those said countermeasures. and other than that, he'd still require a lot of time hacking when Tony summons all of his suits. it will require hacking from firewall to firewall. Tony just happens to have more toys than Bruce. so I'd say given the situation, it was a fair fight,

While I was rooting for Bats mainly because he’s been my personal favorite hero since I was a kid I admit the only knowledge I have of iron man comes from the MCU movies so I had no idea he was this powerful in the comics! so good game tony good game. 🤝

Venom (blatantly favoring Marvel) and Batman Beyond v. Spider-Man 2099 (blatantly favoring DC) have come along the exact same throughline. That, or appeasing a fanbase directly after a match they realized too late would be a stomp (eg. Natsu v. Ace *directly after* Zoro v. Erza). In fact, I'd argue it goes both ways; there isn't a single repeat universe on the show that hasn't gotten a matchup that doesn't blatantly feel like giving a toxic, upset fanbase a free win.

It's worth noting that Tony has also been trained in hand-to-hand combat by Cap himself, because even Cap recognized that Tony relying entirely on his armor suits was a weakness that could be exploited if an enemy were to corner Tony where he had no access to his various armors. And Batman himself has outright admitted before that if he were to fight Cap, there's a good chance that Cap would win that fight, though it would take Cap a while to pull it off. Tony is no slouch in a fight, even without his armor. Sure, Batman would have been a better hand-to-hand fighter in the end, but not enough to just totally flatten Tony. And with Tony's armor at his disposal, it was honestly just a matter of time before Tony landed the killing blow. Tony simply had far too many options available, and Batman was racing against the clock (literally) before the Hellbat killed him, so Tony could have very easily just bought time with his massive arsenal of armors until the Hellbat finally killed Batman through overuse.
Not to mention the onboard A.I. can pick apart Batman's fighting prowess and create countermeasures for Stark - just like what he did to Cap in Civil War. He was getting trounced badly, until F.R.I.D.A.Y. analyzed Cap's fighting data and began to create countermeasures to fight back and turn the tables... until he lost thanks to Bucky sacrificing that artificial arm and Cap damaging the Arc Reactor with the shield he uses.

I think you're confusing FORGING with BUILDING. Most consistent versions of Batman has always designed AND built all his suits, gadgets, batmobiles, batplanes, bat-tanks, etc BEFORE handing the BLUEPRINTS to Lucius Fox for MASS PRODUCTION. Overall, I'd say Tony is better at ROBOTICS and Bruce is better at AUTOMOBILE ENGINEERING. But they are BOTH EQUAL when it comes to the broader field of MECHANICS and COMPUTER SCIENCE.

Man I wonder how this fight would look like if Batman uses all of his suits because eventhough this was a great battle, it was basically Hellbat vs all of Ironman's suits. I was hoping to see other stuff Batman's Insider suit, Justice Buster,(eventhough it's specifically designed for the justice league) and final Bat Suit in this fight.
I'm not sure if you know this, but if it was put into the analysis, it was factored into the victor. They didn't use other suits due to time and budget constraints.

Nah, because that fight has inevitabilities. This fight is useless to have prep because it wouldn't help Batman with someone like Tony. Honestly, it would give Tony the advantage because it would give him a chance to build a suit specifically to counter the Hell Bat while Batman doesn't even build his own weapons and wouldn't really be able to achieve anything with his prep.
As brilliant as Batman is with his prep, it's as a detective and finding weaknesses in opponents. However, Tony is a normal man who builds his own suit and would be coming in with a completely new armor. So, Bruce is not going to find anything there, and there's no way in hell he would ever in a million years hack Friday on his own.

While it is true that most of Batman's equipment is built by others while Tony builds his own, Batman is very much capable of building his equipment which he does sometimes depending on the urgency or importance and he does take part in designing most of his equipment, only thing is that he just doesn't have a lot of time. Tony's life revolves completely around being Ironman while Bruce is living two lives, he prioritises his life as Batman ofcourse but he does put effort in trying to help others as Bruce Wayne through Wayne Enterprises.
Comic book battles can have an unbelievable number outcomes, after all they are fabricated. Regarding this Death Battle, Tony's utilisation of the Ironman suit at the beginning was juvenile, Batman used a mere spec of his gadgets, gadgets which could have allowed him to best tony and instead he focused on using one of his suits which is unlike him.
While Batman will forever be my favourite hero and I will always be bias towards him as I believe he can always become victorious, I do acknowledge that Tony is also just as capable of being victorious, I just feel that the death battle did not do either of these two justice. Still enjoyed it though.

To date it is extremely debated whether or not the ironman suit is impervious to an emp. No evidence has proven it can and there has been an instance in which his suit shut down momentarily to protect itself from the emp (which makes no sense as the circuits would still get fried).
But lets say that magically Tony's suit survived the emp, it would have given Batman an opening.
Further more an emp or an em gadget could be used to combat Tony's nano tech.

Tony had enough preparation to know who Bruce was and find him on the watchtower as well as understand that he was dangerous enough to warrant sneaking nanobots into his body in the first five minutes of the fight mean that Batman new Tony to. Try as he could, he could not regain control of his communications, and was bombarded for months, several times a day with the death tolls in Gotham, victims of Joker, Zsazz, and the other murderous maniacs of the asylum, no longer held in check by Batman, in lurid, gory detail.
Death battle is very wrong and biased, Batman can easily dodge a lot of iron mans attacks. In the comics THEY SAID THAT HE HAS “infinite knowledge” so he should be much smarter, and Batman is much more skilled, and his his hand to hand combat is WAY better

There’s a lot of problems I have with this battle, what with the feats they used for both the Hellbat and Godbuster armors being exaggerated by quite a bit.
Like the Hellbat beating Darkseid never happened and if they had read the comic they would clearly see it barely made a scratch on Darkseid, same for the Godbuster vs the celestials, that armor did not last long and took Ghost Rider possessing an old dead celestial body just to beat them.
But you mean to tell me Batman had enough time to put on the armor but didn’t grab an EMP to fight a man who’s entire arsenal is tech?
They didn't even use his 6D armor 🤦 y mention it if you're not gonna use it

Who the fuck on Death Battle’s team came up with Goku Black vs Reverse Flash? Not only is that a complete and utter mismatch, those two have NOTHING in common besides being evil doppelgängers. They said this season was going to be the most requested fights by fans, but there’s no way in hell that is one of them.
You’d be surprised how much non VS debaters function off of “These two are kinda similar, it’d be cool if they fought.”
Doesn’t help that Goku Black became popular around the same time that the CW flash show became popular with Reverse flash as the villain.

I felt like Batman should’ve won, Stark is just as smart as Wayne, but Wayne is a master at manipulation, contingency planning, and of the martial arts. A fist fight with Batman won’t end well at all, so without all the suits in use, and stark only using his regular suit Batman would’ve had an advantage. Technically, Batman can hack Stark’s suit as well (had brother eye been brought into play) and since it has happened with Stark’s previous A.I Javis, via ultron, the fight would’ve been decided as batman
"contingency planning" is out of the question when you're pitted to someone you've never encountered before, remember. it's DeathBattle. a fistfight definitely gives Bruce an advantage, but then again. Tony is aided by AI's assisting him which actions he can do. his AI can analyze fighting patterns, and assist him in CQC, even without that, Tony is also trained by Captain America, Black Panther even Shang-Chi. so Tony can stand his ground. but Bruce still has advantage in CQC because of his vast experience in fighting. but Tony is also experienced in hacking, so he'd also have countermeasures against hacking, Backup AI's is one of those said countermeasures. and other than that, he'd still require a lot of time hacking when Tony summons all of his suits. it will require hacking from firewall to firewall. Tony just happens to have more toys than Bruce. so I'd say given the situation, it was a fair fight,
