Interesting enough. They both use more than Technology. Luthor has kryptonite, Doom has magic. However, the only difference is that while both of them are effective on Kryptonians, except Magic works on other beings.

Doom is second to the doctor strange in the magic department, so Lex making himself into superman doesn’t help him when superman’s weakness to magic it puts him to a huge disadvantage.

Boi wha da hell boi it’s a relative weakness, not an explicit one. As Doom uses both technology and magic while Lex only uses the former, the Everyman project didn’t make him any weaker to it than he already was.
Saying Superman is weak to magic is like saying humans are weak to stabbing. Sure it can lead to death if you get stabbed but you can survive. Superman has no resistance to magic so it is effective against him but he it isn't like Kryptonite to him. He can withstand magic. It's not like if you are a magic user you have an advantage against Superman. You just know your magic can work on him the same way it would work against others. Magic is basically an equalizer for Superman. It is one of those things that can affect him just as much as it can affect a human. His durability might make it so he can take more but he won't be walking through magic like he does a Kamehameha.
That foot dive spam looks like a real pain to deal with.

People really underestimate Lex. Not saying he would win, but his suit taking attacks from the entire Justice League and Doomsday without much issue and him being able to hack Brainiac WHILE FIGHTING HIM is proof enough that he could hold his own against Doom.

Yep. Doom can beat Lex manly because Lex doesn't have defense against magic. In terms of tech, however, Lex more than matches Doom, or even surpasses him. Doom simply had more versatility of moves and a power Lex had no control over.

@@nathanalexandre9043 Late Comment but 99.9% of the time it's actually a Doombot rather than Doom himself. It's plot armour on a level that only Doom, Batman, Rick Sanchez, Saitama and Batman Who Laughs really have. They are low-key the most broken characters in fiction because of it.

I love DR doom he's my favorite marvel villain but I like Lex more (don't get me wrong i am not saying Doom would lose, Doom is way more powerful).
