Very kind of you ! Glad you enjoyed it
Great upload. Nice to see some people going past at mere mortal speeds in the background . Makes me feel I wouldn't be out of my depth.
Cheers Gaz, No not at all. This is a big misconception for riders who haven't ridden in the alps before. There is plenty to ride as a newbie to the alps. A lot of riders are at a beginner/intermediate level. If you can avoid peak season then there will be no pressure of holding other riders up.
Don't let your speed hold you back my friend!
Great content guys. Sweet I can't wait to go. Keep um coming dude
Cheers Kevin! Have a great trip......more coming soon!
Sick video bro great commentary man 🤙🤙🤙
Appreciate it, Glad you enjoyed!
Looks so good there! Great video and editing as always 👍🏼👍🏼 glad seeing people not clearing features as well, makes us mere mortals feel better 🤣
Thanks for watching! Yeah for sure, as mentioned before this area has a lot of beginner/ Intermediate level of riders which would make it a lot less intimidating. The Serausaux area is also good for this although it gets a bit busier.
Another great video, top quality filming
Many thanks! Soph thought she was going for a holiday and ended up being a camera woman! haha Probably owe her another trip for that.....! ahah
@@MtbTrailHub maybe a nice trip to whistler? 😂😂
Man in the white house 😂😂. Not sure that would go down too well ! But worth a shot 😜
Going there this July, can’t bloody wait
Get in! Let the good times roll 👌
I’m speechless 🤩🙈 enjoy!
Haha, What else is there to say....? see you 2021.....
I hope the war won't happen 😉
Tomek 😂 don’t even say it..... You should get your news from Pinkbike. Much better
Heading there this coming summer, thank you for staring. I’ll contact you soon.
Great stuff, happy to help if you have any Q's!
Great video! Les Gets is definitely on the list for a future trip. When would you say is the best time to visit. Did a day in Chatel last week and it was rammed!
Thanks, Yeah Les Gets is great. Iv'e actually just got off a call from one of the owners from mtb beds and they said that last week was the busiest he'd seen it in almost 20 years!!! Mid July is a good time IMO before the french holidays and late August early September.
Nice riding 👌🏼👌🏼
Thanks Olly✌️
Awesome video, love the look of these trails! After riding at Llandegla last weekend I’m begging for some nice, smooth substrate to ride on! Think my hands are still buzzing 7 days later!
hahaa Hey thanks! They are awesome trails. Don't be deceived though...... there can be a lot of breaking bumps in the main lines. Hows the new stuff at Llandegla?
Mtb Trail Hub ahh you must just ride it like it’s butter! 🤩 I’ve never been before but my partner has, he really enjoyed the new stuff...said it flowed really well and felt fast! I think it’s been my favourite place to ride so far!
Moonbather The Go Pro does lie at times 🥴😁. It’s good that they have put some resources into Llandegla as it felt a bit tired end of last year. New stuff looks great!
nice content my friend !
Thank you! Cheers!
@@MtbTrailHub hey! me and my friends will go to Les Gets next Summer, its possible to go from Les Gets to Swiss always lift assist? and if you have any GPX file to share with that will help us alot!! Thank you!!
Great vide dude , The trails look pretty awsome , and nice looking place to stay, never been there yet but pretty interested in going next year , I’m sure you will put in about mtb beds in a later vid so will wait for that , only hour and a half from Geneva airport with good transfers, how is the drive down in a car with the road tolls and motorways as never driven abroad before ,but I only live 10 minutes from euro tunnel or Dover port
Cheers Peter, Yeah they are great.
I have a few clips of the chalet but not a whole lot to be honest as we focused on the trail reviews and wanted to keep the videos organic.
If you want to find out about the chalet experience i released a podcast today 'Mtb Trail Hub Podcast' with Mtb Beds which goes into details about whats on offer. or feel free to ask questions if you have any.
The drive is pretty seamless in all honesty. 95% clear motorway (by uk standards) and it will take roughly 9hrs from Calais. 80 euros in tolls and just over 500 miles.
I always prefer driving as you can take spares, have the flexility of having a veichle in town and can work out cheaper shared with a couple of others.
Driving in France is a dream after the UK. Get an Emovis liber-t tag and you can go through the tolls without stopping and throwing your change all over the road.
Gaz 22 do you need to buy one of those?
Mtb Trail Hub cheers I will go check out your pod cast
@@MtbTrailHub £10 "admin fee" £20 refundable deposit, then it's pretty much just the cost of the tolls out of your account at the end of the month. emovis-tag.co.uk
So are the trails graded similar to the UK? So a les gets red is the same as a bike park wales red?? Nice video BTW. 👍
lopon12 yes they are, however often u will find on even greens optional gap jumps
Yeah Pretty much! Each resort across the Portes Du Soleil tend to grade slightly differently but across the board they are similar to BPW.
rollable ones....
Ok - seems like its worth to bring my bike with me : )
Absolutely!!! Would be crazy to visit here without one ! 😜
Would you say it's a good idea to go there alone as a 16 year old? I have solid skills and own a reign similar to yours and I am stoked to ride... So - should be good right?
In what area would you say should I ride? I would want to ride more chill trails without crazy features for starters
Do you know if you can put your stuff anywhere at the bottom station? Like some lockers or something.
@@hannes6114 I can’t see why not, there is plenty of riding here for all abilities and it’s a very safe area in general.
If you fancy joining a small group of riders I’m hosting a holiday in August down in the La Plagne area. Let me know if you’re interested.
Looking to go here! I am happy to arrange myself. I got quoted at £3k for 4 nights and 4 days including accom, lift pass and bike hire. Is that normal? Looks good out there.
Hi Jack, That sounds very expensive. You could easily do it for under half that. Shoot me over an email with your details and i'd be happy to steer you to a cheaper option. mtbtrailhub@gmail.com
@@MtbTrailHub legend! Thank you so much will do
That annoying noise (WYEEEW!) is just completely unnecessary. Sadly puts me off watching your videos. Otherwise a massive fan.
Oh shut up you old man, at least he is having fun.
paul haskell it’s called having fun, and it’s really not a reason to not watch him😂
@@miles9294 thank you!!!!!
If i ever stop being myself i'll let you know. Or maybe you could watch with the sound off? haha
Thanks chaps
