I prefer the head cam but under the peak so you can see a bit of handlebars and wheels.

And yeah i do like that angle too tbf, only annoyance is that you really need a full face for it (i sometimes use a half lid but the weight of the gopro under the peak makes the helmet fall down over my eyes haha) the nice thing about chest cam is that i dont have to worry about what helmet i wear... anyway thank you for watching and commenting :)

Nice Vid. I prefer the chest cam because you can see the bars and front wheel inputs, gives more of a feeling of being on the bike actually riding.

Head camera is always better imo , as long the front tyre can be seen.
tbh i think you may be right, but i think it has to be chin mounted... it does mean i need to wear a full face all the time though which isn't ideal for most of UK riding...
@@willgreenfield Yeah true. It's just a matter of preference, some people prefer head mount, others chest. But ultimately do what's more comfortable for you.
I also like to see the front tyre AND the bike inputs. Difference between the chest cam and head cam then is that the head cam does not show much if any of the leaning of the bike due to the head always being kept level, whereas with the chest cam you do get an element of leaning in the footage, unless the vertical stabilisation features of the camera are used.

Thanks! My advice would be don't spend too much time thinking about youtube and how your videos are performing... it can get in your head... just make content that you enjoy and are proud of and if it gets views then thats a bonus! I've spent too long unnecessarily stressing over how my videos are doing and it wasn't worth it. Hope that helps and good luck with your channel :)
