- Ep 3 of the PDS Trail Check Series. We take a look at a few awesome features with a bit of trail history too as Ben Richards from Mtb Beds joins us for a video!
The Pleney Black trail has been the back bone of the Morzine mtb scene since the beginning of time. With new lines forming yearly, I thought it would be cool to show you some of the best features.
Ben Richards is Co - Owner of the Mtb Beds holiday company and has been in and around Morzine since the early 2000s, So who better to show us the way down!

Was lucky enough to just spend a week here. What an incredible place !
Yeah sure is! I think anyone that got wheels on the ground in Morzine this year has done well! The odds were against it....
Spicy 👍🏻😃 waiting forward
That trail is so sick
Couldn't agree more, Up there with the best!
❤️🔥 That’s a great Mtb video to watch! I just subscribed to your channel.
Keep it up 🥰😃
Awesome, glad you liked it! Thanks for tuning in!
did you make it back to the uk in time? cant wait for the next vid as my trip was very short this year and only had 2 days in chatel
Miles Gutted for you mate😩 such a shame. Did you? I’ve been back for a few weeks now. I tend to do all my filming in a week and then spend the next month or so editing them 😂
@@MtbTrailHub ive got a week riding in Wales next week so looking forward to that!
Miles Nice, should make up for it then 😁 where’s on the hit list?
I live in Wales live 20 mins from cwmcarn and 50 mins from forest of dean
I'm going to les gets/morzine next week, is it good for beginners/intermediate ?
Emile Sardarian unfortunately you can’t go without 14 day isolation now😭
I'm in Morzine right now, if you are a competent rider with off-road skills you will be ok on a lot of the trails - there are many different trails out here - just make sure to stick to the greens and blues to start with! They are however graded completely differently to the UK - a green DH run in the Portes du Soleil area can be as difficult as a difficult blue/easy red back in the UK, so just take it steady! Enjoy!
Devastating .....
Hopefully you can still make the trip with the restrictions in place. Yeah it's a great area for beginners to intermediates. check out my earlier video here which documents a big beginners loop -czcams.com/video/b9WCxb2gLp0/video.html
Great insight, appreciate they reply.
