Is lightly rose plating the mane, just as good as doing regular braids? As far as protective styling and helping the hair to grow?

I really don't know but taking how big horses get maybe like every 1 or 2 weeks but for water only I don't think it matters if you brush and let it dry

If you’re mad at him for using cold water to wash a animal. Well that’s kinda childish, horses in the wild bathe in cold water. So it could irritate the skin or even burn them.

Horse is so cute but couldn't you have used warm water or at least bath him in the sun he was shaking i no you let him in the sun for a minute but still
