I think that every character available in both games received a design upgrade in SFV. With the exception of Ibuki. And Ken, of course (dat face though).
what i guess happend at 1:12 is that birdie threw a can from the right side of the screen and balrog and birdie dashed into the other corner. That means when balrog hits the Crush Counter the can comes from behind and he then v-revesaled it.

Hailstormful LMAO the difference is SF4 Vanilla had good gameplay, from Vanilla to Ultra the gameplay was virtually unchanged. The gameplay of SFV is straight up fucking garbage with no footsies, they need to overhaul the entire game to make it good

How many hits can Geif absorb ? I thought he could only absorb 4, 2 while holding vskill and 2 while walking.
Gonna assume dlc characters will be fighters that you played in story mode. Decap, Sean, Abel, the dude hanging with Rashid calling him master etc etc.

I wish they had like a mode for him instead of beefed up damage they had like a new school boxing style mode and old school boxing style mode. You could go from max out damage to just being very flashy and cocky with the match.
Good stuff desk, but I hoped to see more FADC combos with SF4 Balrog. Jab combos looked kinda lame and don't do much damage. :(
as much as i don't care for how limited SFV's combo engine is, it is nice not to see jab fighter 4. (great vid btw)

I love the new Balrog combos, but I think most of them can only be set up once you have V-trigger which makes most of the early game short combo pokes and guessing games that aren't as rewarding. I guess they replaced all his combo/ block string combo links with more raw power, which is why I think his combos from USFIV are more interesting/usefull. I would go crazy watching PR Balrog lay down pressure with his normal links. It feels really boring to watch the new Balrog early game until he gets V-trigger and most top players don't even use if for that and opt out for V-Reversals.

Holding it during the v-trigger would not fully charge it.
watch it again bro..to do that charge punch you hold any 2 buttons. so he did the first heavy charge punch for the wall bounce then his v skill spin with punch then hit HK,HP to v trigger which allows him to hold the 2 buttons to do another heavy charge punch
SFV boxer looked more interesting.
He seems to have a much more dynamic style, I can't wait to play him -linux version = delayed :(

These are originals. M.Bison (Mike Bison) is an inspiration of Mike Tyson. In US and EU versions, they changed the name because they didn't want to get sued. So these are the changed names:
Boxer (M.Bison) to Balrog
Claw (Balrog) to Vega
Dictator (Vega) to M.Bison.
These are not originals, originals are japanese ones. Source is fightingstreet.com
They use M.Bison for Dictator, I think they use it for Dictator because he says "Now, face the mighty Bison." in SFIV, so we can say M. is mighty. Also Akuma's original name is Gouki, it fits with his brother's name Gouken. I don't know why they use Akuma for other versions but Gouki and Akuma have similar meanings in japanese. Both mean demon, devil or satan in japanese but have differences, I don't know japanese so I can't tell the difference.

Well, they can buffer the input for starters, meaning he could use st.hp or TAP or something and hold back while doing that, so he could dash punch right after because it was already charged
V-Trigger rog dosent need charge.....just like bison(cancelling specials only)

I'm guessing that it's a move that puts you into a lot of blocks fun and a fast crush counter.
He probably made Birdie throw a can from the right corner and raced to the left corner so that it would roll into Balrog after the crush counter.

+Eddie Crooks he counts when you release them, if you old it a second, when you release it he says "one" if you old it a bit longer he says "two" etc. You need him to say "final"

SF4 Balrog is overall better atm. SFV Balrog has higher damage/more pleasant combos to the eye but SF4 Balrog had more pleasant ones to the mind his loops/extended hard links combos are more impressive then different variations of BnB cancel into v-trigger then do in a different order.
sf4 balrog looks so plain compared to sfv balrog.

I can't help but think that the people who prefer sf4 to sfv just say so because capcom didn't release a lot of single player content when the game was launched. As far as gameplay goes, sf4 wishes it was sfv.

Honestly, the only striking difference between the two games are simply the graphics (a small improvement, none the less). It's just too similar, even the pace is almost identical. Street 4 was released 8 years ago, there's no excuses for this.
if you buy a balanced good fighting game you don't want it to be that different on the new version, you want it be just improved..

Yeah, I'm pretty disappointed. I thought SF4 was pretty bland and ultras/focus was dumb but everything else was nice. SF3s is still my favorite sf game. Really wish they would go back to sprites.
