🌼 Sketchbook Practice 🌼 Trust the Process

A chilled out Sunday morning sketchbook practice session!
When I bought these gorgeous flowers, I knew I had to draw them in my sketchbook. I hadn't used my gouache paints in forever so decided to use them for the base layer.
It didn't look very good so I was about ready to give up on the piece but trusted that my favourite Caran D'Ache luminance pencils could help save it. I think it did? What do you think? I love using these pencils to create texture and movement.
