Being a colour blind artist, the labeling of the colors in this video is very helpful and appreciated.
TheSourceOfTheNile Actually, I think if a color blind person makes art the way they see it can make for cool art.
Being a colourblind artist is interesting and I have only just recently started to use colour in my drawings and it’s hard😂😂
Right!!
I think that you can just name the colors that you use, or use the glasess for those with deltonism
Being colorblind might actually be kinda cool whilst coloring, I think that the different colors might be kinda cool depending on how you use em
Him : now we gonna use a colorless blender
My finger : its my time to shine
i used white lmaoo
Lavanderina i just used my white haha
Omg me lol
Oof that's not a good idea lol
I do that too though but I'm not trying to be professional
If anyone seeing this uses their finger that's not a good idea because the oil on your fingers Will get on the paper and it won't blend as well so if you don't have any good blending materials you could use a white colored pencil or a tissue
@@ariannah6023 chill dude its just a meme, not that serious.
I knew it, white coloring materials are not useless
Well they aren't they never were..
Bruh white was always useful very useful who said white wasn’t useful u can’t make a drawing Without White
Dinosharttt I always thought they were useless before I started being a artist then I became a artist and that’s when I knew that they were not useless
HHAHA SAME I always said it’s useful for black paper until I began to color my drawings
Till,I was in 2nd or 3rd I also think that white color is a very important part of drawing
Me: ^draws this after 4 hours of frustration^
Me: Finally!
Me: Wait, how am I gonna do the left eye?
Me: ^facepalms^
This is the left eye.
+Gothica MG but from the perspective of the observer it is the right eye :D
+Pokeballqueen that's not how anatomy works. it's still the left eye.
+Joel Hartzell i know, but i just wanted to explain why she said left
+Pokeballqueen *right
I have never seen someone who explains eyelashes this well, honestly.
I can already tell I'm gonna be crying half way through this...

What photo did you get the sketch off because ehe doesn't show drawing the sketch
I'm gonna try this I hope it comes out fantastic!
What brand color pencils did you use?
That moment when you have nothing similar to " light peach" RIP
THANKS!!! It's been 10 yrs since I've touched my colored pencils and just started getting back into it. I'm super rusty and found this exceedingly helpful :)
This is a great tutorial , very detailed and easy to follow , I'm gonna give this drawing a shot even though mine won't be even near as good lol , keep up the good work
i've tried and and ended up with a great piece of work. well, thank you
I love how the music in the background reminds me of Fran bow
I found you the most soothing instructor thus far! I've been looking at pencil tutorials for days... Your pace is easy, doesn't feel stressful, the background music really lulls...really perfect. THANK YOU, big help. Website is great too
I’m honestly so glad to know that other people seemed to get nervous when drawing on the eyelashes. I’ve done before but never in colored pencil. I have work around if I mess up using graphite, and if I’m doing them digitally it’s pretty simple to re-do them.
Oh my god! This video seriously helped so much. I seriously didn't expect to be able to make such a realistic eye! But i went step by step and was able to take the time to really blend and layer/build up colors.
Of course it doesn't look as good as the one in the video but only because i don't practice drawing as much as i should and normally don't use colored pencils often usually just graphite so the fact that it came out so good surprised me. It is rare to find such a helpful drawing video on here since most of the time the person speeds up the footage so it is hard to see what they're doing but this is great!
Thanks. What a great tutorial. Instructions all so fluent and well organized. I find it really hard though, how you create something, then seem destroy it with the next addition and then spread the colour, and then again at some later point reconstruct it. Yet all of these steps are so important. Hope to gain the gist with practice. Thanks so much!!
Thank you for talking in this video. There's a lot of videos on how to draw but they don't talk through and splaining what they're doing and why they're doing it. They just show. Thank you so much.
Bought my new prismacolors and couldn't wait to try this out. Worked perfectly, thanks for the tutorial.
Thank you so much, I did this and it looks amazing. I'm not experienced in drawing much, especially with prismacolors, but the drawing turned out almost as good as yours. :)
I am amazed how you are able to teach so well. I am an artist myself and have tried a variety of youtube videos with step by step instructions to learn new techniques but none have been by far the most helpful as yours. I now have my very own realistic eye all thanks to your video. May others see how well your skills are as i have.:-)
I have the 150 Prismacolor pencil set and I can't wait to try and draw this eye after work.
I'm literally just using super simple freaking $3 pencils but it is still looking amazing thanks to your tutorial, even though it's harder and doesn't look as good as yours, it goes to show that anyone can draw.
Thank you. Watching you draw has been a source of inspiration
I used cheap-ass color pencils from Walmart, matching colors as best I could, and it still turned out amazing! Thank you!
Thankyou sooo much!! I just finished it and it looks great!!!
THANKS! this is the only video channel I found that tells me what exact colours to use!
I can't wait to try this soon :D thanks you're so amazing!
Just thank you I wanted a tut sooo bad and you are the only one that make it look a little bit easier
More like this please. So easy to follow and it's convinced me to possibly invest in buying a course or two. Much better than those time lapse "tutorials" that some so-called instructors post that teach nothing and trying to follow them is impossible. Thank you.
You went in such great detail!!! This tutorial was awesome!!!
I did this and it turned out amazing thank you so much I am so proud!!!
Holy crap. It actually works!
This is awesome! I just need the right materials. (Sad face) lol.thanks for the tutorials.
I have ZERO experience with colored pencils and have always kind of written them off as a tool for doodling or given to kids with coloring books, basically never taken them as a serious medium. So unfortunate for me!! I snagged a large bag of the same prismacolor you’re using here at a thrift store ( about 60-70 brand new!!) for $4.99!! I was also unaware of what their value was and almost walked away from it! So glad I snatched them up… I love em!! In fact, I’m only missing the light peach out of the colors you were using in this video but I have a peach that should work just fine, I believe, with the right amount of pressure and blunting. I had no idea that you could blend these and buttery they are! Absolutely amazing and I now I am curious as to other brands that are popular with colored pencil artists. I’m really enjoying them, I love so many aspects they offer, I really am kicking myself for not taking them seriously for this long! But here, at least I didn’t totally miss out on them and I am enjoying the hell out of them now! Do you have any suggestions for paper? I am primarily a watercolor artist so I have a variety of types, thicknesses, and textures at my disposal currently and really haven’t settled on any single type yet. Any advice would be greatly excepted! Thank you for the great video, from this one and I’ve learned quite a bit! Also, if I don’t have a blender yet, do you have any other suggestions that would be similar? I haven’t fully looked into exactly what a blender is but I am assuming that it is just a clear waxy, buttery burnishing type tool? 🤘💪
Clear instructions, beautiful results, thank you
beautiful work! however i find that adding some thin lines that resemble veins to the whites of the eyes makes them look more realistic :)
Wow I need to get those color pencils they work like magic
Amazing! It looks real! Thank you.
Omg i IMPROVED HELLA THANK YOUUU IT TURNED GREAT BETTER THEN MY OLD ONES

Extroidinary . You are a master artist and I was mesmerized watching the eye come to life. Thank you for sharing your expertise.
Everything about your videos is excellent! Far superior to anything else around. Your talent is amazing, and your voice is beautiful. So many CZcamsrs have speech impediments and worse. But you, you’re the standard others ought to copy. Thank you 🙏
Omg artist needs to make more of these videos they are very helpful thank you
This is one of the best videos I have seen in a long time. I particularly like the way you close up to your drawing so we see how you draw, especially the lashes and it seems in real time. Furthermore mentioning which colour you use as you go along is very helpful. Thank you!
Wow, thank you!
