FIXED - Yamaha RX-V870 receiver won't turn on, Bad solder joint, how to find it, where to look.

This fix might also work on RX-V870, RX-X850 and RX-V1070 as well as many other Yamaha RX-V series receivers. There are defective solder joint(s) which might be easy to find and repair. Oftentimes it's is just one or two that need attention.

Wow, this is great. Saved that from the recycle yard. Excellent work. I have a very similar Yamaha model. Mine have very very low milage on it even though it is older but will remember this if any problems. Amazes me how you know the the various relays that are known problems. It’s not like your channel is only about fixing receivers. Not even a majority of your vid’s are that, so great job! Cheers.
