Yup. Here's another PSA: please gene-test yourself and your partner for common genetic diseases, especially ones you know are present in your family, before trying for children if possible. You can always choose IVF, adoption, or surrogacy if it turns out you have something, but at present we can't fix most genetic diseases, so a child that has one will always have a poorer quality of life and will often have a higher child mortality rate and decreased lifespan

I'm really surprised you didn't mention the male anglerfish. Everyone who's seen Finding Nemo knows what a female anglerfish looks like. Males aren't like that. They're tiny creatures that can barely fend for themselves. When they find a female, they latch onto her by biting her. Over time, he literally fuses with her and loses all his organs except his gonads. She then continues to swim around with these attached gonads, able to fertilize herself whenever she wants. She can also carry multiple ex-males at a time. That's literally the only purpose of male anglerfish, to become a ballsack.
God DAMN. That's horrific. 😂
As terrifying as that is, it's amazing how nature even comes up with crap like this.

The peacock's feathers making him the center of attention is technically a massive L for males, but it kind of allows to preservate the species. If a predator approaches, he's likely to leave the females be and since it's the females that have to lay eggs and stuff it somewhat helps them to be more discrete. This is the case for a bunch of other birds too.

So basically, Cheetahs are *THIS CLOSE* to becoming domesticated house pets in the next 100-150 years.

@@stevefilms1997 It won't be problem for an Arab and we know that rich Arabs keep them as pets
People keep tigers as pets, the problem isn't that they aren't friendly, the problem is like a house cat they can get overstimulated and tear you to bits, but you know, not in a metaphorical sense because they weigh hundreds of pounds.
Oh yeh, that'll be fun chasing after them when they run away at the park.
"And spotty just ran into the side of a car going above the speed limit - the cheetah, not the car".
they're already pretty well domesticated, it's just one of those instances where you have to get unbelievably lucky, or steal the cubs and raise generations in captivity.
In defense of the cheetah, they have significantly higher hunting success rate than most big cat at 58%. They make enough kill to offset the fact that they usually get grief by Hyena and Lion. Also, since Lion spend like 1/4 of the day waking up, cheetah can just avoid hunting during that time period.

Thing about the octopus is, even thought they're one of the most inteligent animals in the ocean, they have to learn how to survive ALONE. Their parents die and there are no other octopi around to protect them and teach them how to survive. So it's no wonder only one of the 50.000 is going to survive. Being inteligent means nothing if there's no others of your kind to teach you anything. Imagine putting 50.000 toddlers on an african jungle and telling them figure it out, it would be a miracle if JUST ONE managed to survive until adulthood
perhaps their(octopus), intelligence developed as a counter-balance to offset the lack of instruction newborns receive
Forget adulthood; it'd be a miracle of a toddler could live to see childhood.
Because when a baby animal gets hurt, they just go with it. Sure, it hurts, but they have no other way to deal with it. But when a human toddler gets hurt, their instinct is to cry as loud as possible and poop all over themselves, attracting predators and scavengers alike.

@ritadighent what not talk to a few of your peers and give this man a degree?

I love how he doesn’t beg for money or guilt trips his supporters into donating and is just casually like “ywah it’s going to Wendy’s lol” I love that honesth
I just love the fact that he called it a crippling addiction to Wendy's
This is hilarious narration, great video !!!
"Cheetahs compromised everything for speed so now they get to speedrun through life" got me rolling 😂
If schools actually knew how to grab interest like this guy does, the world would be way more developed.
Agreed. 👌
We'd be in mars rn
Lol, I couldn’t even listen to him for over 20 seconds. Education is not entertainment and he is boring as hell. Same monotonous voice and talking at the speed of a fighter jet.
But these are legitimately cool animals like economics or math could Nederland be as interesting

Donald Trump is the actual president behind the scenes. Look up prophet Timothy Dixon, God told him this. Trump is in power under a secret operation.

best punchline of the whole video 😂
Octopus are good mothers. Think of her on mother's day, and look at your mom differently.
That made me a little sick 🙊

Sometimes in humans the mom will unalive from child birth while the baby survives but that's not normal.
You can in fact, dump all your points into one skill, that skill is charisma. Doing this hasn't failed me yet.
If you like Cheetahs, know there's still hope for them. Lately, younger Cheetahs have been observed to create packs, something previously unheard of from them. It's at its very early stages, but this collaboration has been shown to highly increase their probability for a good meal without disturbances. Basically, nature is forcing them into socialization.
Which is the exact opposite of what we went through.
@@nightfox1462 we talking about how corona made us forced out of so- wait DID WE JUST GIVE OUR SOCIALIZATION SKILLS FROM HUMANS TO CHEETAHS?
@@nightfox1462 I think… I think we quite literally threw away it and gave it to cheetahs on mistake… fuck
@@babytruci4444 Well good for them, they get to survive and good for me because I don't have to deal with people's bs and got to stay in my room for at least a whole year without mom being on my case.
"Now talk to each other, awkward asses. "
Ok my respect for this dude just went through the roof, that fact that he's content with life as it is, and doesn't need additional money, so much to the point where he says that in the outro (something I've never heard anybody say) that shows alot about his character. He just told his audience they don't have too, when he could have said nothing, or worse lie like I'm sure plenty of people do. Mad respect broski

Agreed. Ditto. Yes. I subbed immediately.
And honestly, I get the Wendy's addiction. I empathize so much with that. Their foods really good! 😋

tbh a Wendys addiction sounds like a real struggle so that sold it for me. Subscribed. Amazing videos/ fellow animalnerd.
