The TERRIFYING Lesser Known Battle Droids That Could Have Led The CIS To Victory?

  • The droid army of the Confederacy of Independent systems was truly enormous. Some estimates put the number of the droids in the Quintillions of droids. That's 20 to 30 battle droids for every man, woman and child in the entire galaxy. However, despite this massive numerical advantage, the droid army was beaten by the Republic, largely because the sepratist council relied far too heavily on the crude and ineffective B-1 battle droid. But this didn’t need to be so. As well as sheer numbers, the CIS had the additional advantage of specialisation, whereby certain droids were extremely effective in certain military scenarios. So what other options did the separatists have? In today’s video, we will explore some of the lesser known but terrifying droids that very well may have won the CIS the Clone Wars.
    Scorpinek
The first droid on this list is possibly the most deadly. Originally appearing in legends before making an appearance in the Book of Boba Fett, some have described this droid as the older brother of the Droideka. Armed with extremely powerful rapid fire laser cannons, these droids were a clone's worst nightmare. The Scorpenek Annihilator droid was also fitted with a very powerful deflector shield generator. As we saw in the Book of Boba Fett, even the legendary darksaber could not break through its formidable shield. This droid was particularly effective when regular droideas positioned themselves within the annihilators shield, essentially forming an invincible turret. One such droid was able to decimate a dozen AT-TEs and another was able to eliminate 3 platoons of clones all by itself.
However, like most of the droids on this list, the scorpenek annihilator were incredibly expensive. The standard Droideka is estimated to be around 200 times more expensive than a B-1 battle droid, so it is possible that the annihilator was thousands of times more expensive. Due to this only 100 were ever produced during the clone wars.
A similar, albeit less expensive droid was the mark 2 droideka. These droids had nearly twice the number of blaster cannons than the standard droideka as well as slightly more powerful shields. But more importantly, these droids could switch between regular blaster cannons and ion cannons. This was important as regular droidekas were often vulnerable to being targeted by tanks and artillery which were largely unaffected by their blaster cannons. But using their ion cannons, mark 2 droidekas could quickly race within range of an enemry vechile and destory it using their ion cannons. As these units were less expensive than most tanks, this would have made them very useful during a drawn out war of attitrition with the Republic.
    B1-A air battle droid
The next droid on this list is in my opinion the most useful as it was not only highly effective, but it was also cheap and had the potential to be mass produced on a scale similar to B1 or B2 battle droids. The B1-A air battle droid's design shared elements with the B1-Series battle droids, although it was heftier in appearance and bore a closer resemblance to the B2 super battle droid.
Each of these machines came equipped with twin short blades, arm-mounted firearms, and a shield capable of repelling lightsabers and other weapons. Additionally, an integrated repulsor pack granted them the ability to float over combat zones. This feature enabled them to pester Jedi and Clone troopers from afar, and swiftly close in on them wielding their blades.
Despite plans to produce these droids in large numbers, they weren't without flaws. A vulnerable spot on their wings made it simple for Clone troopers to target and bring them down. Nonetheless, with some minor adjustments, I'm convinced these droids could have significantly shifted the war's trajectory, offering a superior advantage with their flying capability compared to the standard B1 battle droid.

That thumbnail is partially terrifying. R2-D2 controlling a Hulkbuster style mech suit could probably bring even the greatest sith lords to their knees

My ideal light saber would be a black steel heavy saber with leather wraps and a cross guard

Didn’t know about the Kortosis on the Supers! Also, ideal lightsaber would have to be something like Dooku’s, or something with a claw and curved hilt. He has the best taste for such a sophisticated man 👏

My ideal lightsaber would look almost identical to Dooku’s lightsaber. A curved hilt, while harder to deflect blaster bolts, just looks so dang cool.

My ideal lightsaber would be the handle of Qui-Gon, the emitter of Kanan’s lightsaber Ezra’s ignition sound and the blade to be yellow.
Best lightsaber would be Luke’s Green lightsaber. it has a good grip and it’s thin plus it’s an original lightsaber. Worst lightsaber would be one of the lightsabers from the younglings in clone wars because the lightsabers are dirty looking and not symmetrical. Gunji’s wood lightsaber is beautiful and artistically made.

Hopefully im not too late to enter this giveaway thing, eitherway if i understood the assignment correctly i was asked to think of some original and creative lightsaber ideas right? I got 4 new ideas that i came up with that might work and might not.
    First of all:
The double bladed shoto saber. Yes its just a double bladed saber but the hilt is a bit shorter and so is the blade part on each side. basically a double sided dagger of some sorts. i'm not sure how this could give an advantage in battle but i'm sure there are some capable ways they could be used.
Then we have the concept that was somewhat inspired by wielding a small shield in the offhand and ezra's lightsaber gun.
What if you threw a energy shield against the hilt of a normal lightsaber. again i'm not sure if this will be of any use since you could also block with your lightsaber but who knows, it might be of
    somewhat a use.
Then we come to my original idea, The lightsaber with the extendable curved hilt.
you have a normal lightsaber at first, but you can also extend the hilt that is stored inside of the original hilt. And then you make this extendable hilt curved, so you can fight both with a normal lightsaber and then switch it up and have an extra long curved hilt.
And now last but not least my most goofy suggestion yet. the side by side 2 bladed saber
You know those ice pops that are extra wide and have 2 sticks in them that u can break off? yeah what if you did that with lightsabers, You can have them attach with magnets and then be stuck together until you flip the switch on the combined hilt to seperate them into 2 sabers again. Then you also have a button that has the lightsaber spin (not making a vertical circle like we have seen already with other sabers but in a horizontal circle)Ofcourse the hilt would be extra thick in the width if you had 2 non spinning blades but if you also made them spin you'd need the depth o f the hilt also to be longer
I have made extremely poor sketches of the sabers from how i thought of them in my mind. (dont forget idk what i am doing and the sketches are really really bad)
Here is the link to the picture: postimg.cc/cvX6W604
Also if the assignment was to create a saber from one of the designs that are already a thing on the store then
I'd choose the emitter from the shogun but in the style of the metal that boone kestis's saber is in
    The switch of Kanans saber
the grip of Boone kestis's lightsaber
And the pommel of Odin's saber
(also preferably the color to be purple)
I honestly dont know if i even did the assignment the right way or not or if im even on time, it was fun to think of these saber ideas

think the hk77 had a massive flaw it didn't have hands sure built in weapons are good but not being able to manipulate objects i think not worth it.
Also out of all the droids i can think of from legends the model that sticks out most other then really famous like hk-47, is the sith elite warbots given they were known to kill skilled jedi and sith even when equipped with training type equipment which for sure at least puts them above some on this list or one droids like the magnaguards.

The CIS's military would be actually quite formidable if there entire army hand numbers into the quintillions, and if they really did really confused as too why they werent just overwhelm the enemy as soon in every battle there was

Quadrillions. Not quintillions. The Republic had a population of over one hundred quadrillion. Not including droids. The CIS had about a hundred quadrillion droids.
This is something a lot of people get confused with the Empire. What people don't realize is that the Empire had the population of the CIS, the Republic, the Hutts, and basically everything else. While there were some areas the Empire controlled in more of a puppet capacity, they did control the ENTIRE known galaxy. I highly doubt Jabba would've had the slug balls to outright be like "nah man, we don't listen to you, ligma bro!" if Palpatine wanted one of his little floaty pirate ships.
The Empire doesn't have any specifics on his population, but just doing the math on Rep + CIS + everything else + rapid expansion and population growth the Empire likey has a population of 300 - 500 quadrillion. I've done a pixel by pixel reference with the old population density map and gotten something like this but it was years ago and I don't have it anymore :(
Oh, Rep and Emp population isn't including any droids btw.

It made no difference how tough the droids were because Palpatine was going to win no matter what. Both sides were merely pawns in his schemes. To him droids and clones were indistinguishable
