This is a 15 minute beginner’s daily yoga routine. With gyms and offices shutting down, this video is focussed on utilising our precious time into a higher purpose of learning yoga. If you have never practised any of the yogic postures or breathing exercises then this should be the video which will help you get started with this divine practice. Let’s not focus on the fear, panic and the noise created by the media instead channelise our energy into something like yoga which will boost your immunity and help you live a disease free life in the long run. One more thing, this is not a video to just watch but to follow along. So, c’mon let us do it together.
0:47 - Before getting started with this Yoga Routine, do this.
01:12 - Yoga Warm up. These have been referred to as Sukshama Vyayama in the Yogic scriptures
04:15 - Suryanamaskar.The sun salutation. A powerful yogic practice involving 12 asanas.
05:35 - The three most important asanas for our modern lifestyles
05:44 - Pawanmuktasana. The gas release pose. Best to beat acidity and gas issues.
07:20 - Markatasana. The monkey pose. This is especially for the back and the issues related to the spine.
08:22 - Naukaasana. The Boat pose. This is to reduce the belly ponch and tone the abdominal muscles.
09:08 - Yogic pranayama or the breathing exercises.
09:20 - Aum chanting. Thrice. Aum chanting creates subtle vibrations within the body that makes the body ready for pranayama.
10:23 - Bhastrika pranayama or yogic deep breathing. This is a simple yet effective way to boost the immunity. It energises the body and calms the mind.
11:30 - Kapalbhati or rapid exhalation. Among the most powerful Yogic pranayama. It pushes the excessive air trapped in the digestive tract.
13:29 - Agnisaar. The benefits of agnisaar kriya increase manifold when it's done just after Kapalbhati. It is known to strengthen the digestive system.
14:09 - Anulom Vilom pranayama or Alternate Nostril Breathing. Anulom vilom instantly calms the mind. It has the capability to put in a trance state. You feel mediative.
16:17 - Bhramari Pranayama or Bee breath. This is the best breathing exercise for brain. Stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, anger issues, weak concentration power, you name it, Bharamari has the power to cure any issues related to the brain. It even stimulates the pineal and pituitary glands.
17:43 - Rubbing the hands together before concluding. It activates the acupressure points.
17:50 - Last but not the least. Shavasana, to cool down the body.

Update from Lisa. It’s been 2 weeks, since I’ve started doing this video daily. I went to the gym today. I could do 3 times the number stomach crunches. Maybe more, I stopped before I was tired. Almost every exercise (I use machines) I’ve improved by double. I write everything down at the gym, so there’s no mistake. Also my sore hip hurts less, less hair loss, easier to sleep, and my entire life has become a little bit easier. I think I’m more sensitive to the pain of others and less sensitive of my pain.
I had liver cancer 2 years ago, that area was sore, so I wasn’t breathing deeply. Now, I mostly breath deeply. 2 weeks! Only 2 weeks. Tomorrow I’m gonna start learning the names of what we are doing. You couldn’t pay me to stop this easy, satisfying, mini yoga practice. Well maybe it’s not so mini because I’ve quit craving sweets and empty carbs too.

Don't look after the results, just go with the flow and with positive mindsets instructed in the video. If you will do yoga with positive mindset, the result will be in front of yourself in one or two days. Just practice it with full mindfulness.

I’ve been sick with a cold. I was coughing and had a stuffy nose, so I modified some of the breathing techniques, but otherwise I’ve been doing this video everyday for a month. There has not been any down side, except that I learned pranayama is best done when healthy. The upside, positive effects, of doing this yoga has been:
I sing much better.
I’m not craving sugar, and I was really addicted. That includes juice. I used to want juice rather than water, now I prefer water.
I’ve had chronic pain for 12 + years due to liver disease. In 2021, I had liver cancer. They removed part of my liver. New, healthy liver has grown back in place of what was cut out. A month ago and before, I was suffering from impinged hips and shoulders due to so much bed rest. I almost always had back pain. That included pain in my feet, my neck, pain in my knees…etc. It’s pretty much gone now.
Two weeks ago I started tapering off of the pain medication, Subutex, I’ve been taking 12 years. I cut the dose in half. I can feel again and what I feel doesn’t hurt.
Next week, I’m quitting cannabis. I simply don’t have a good reason to use it. Even my emotional issues have smoothed out.
I just had the best Christmas of my adult life. Nothing was different really.
When I cough and sneeze, no incontinence at all!
I’m happy all the time. I do take Vit D that helps, but it’s weird, I’m in control. I started yoga with a diagnosis of depression. That left after day 3.
What else? I’m making friends with like minded people who are into yoga. Did I mention I’m sleeping well? Or that my mom and I are saying, “I love you” after phone conversations. Or that I’m spending less money?
I do on occasion do the 30 min yoga video our Fit Tuber teaches, I’m getting B12 shots and I walk a mile most days, but other than that, adding this video is the only thing that I changed. This video has changed my life, not only is it saving my life, not only is making me me a happier, healthy person, it’s turing me into a helper rather than being a person who needs help. Thank you so much. Oh, and I don’t interrupt slow talking people as much either.

It's been two months since I started doing breathing exercise and yoga. I had stubborn lower back pain before. Within two weeks just like a miracle the pain was gone. A beginner yoga actually for beginners. After a grueling career in construction, at 65 I'm as broken down as they come but can still do most of what you demonstrate, albiet, not as gracefully. It is both energizing and relaxing, as is your voice. Thank you.

I had to modify the routine after my dr pulled my NSAID's. That made it too painful to sit and do the breathing exercises. A back injury complicated things, but I continue to do the rest of it and hope to get back into the breathing portion as well. I really felt good doing that. This is the video that got me back into fitness, and I am more flexible, and can handle doing things that I thought I would have to give up. Go for it. @@jeffreysmith9837
