Alonso in Valencia 2012 sharing the podium with Raikkonen And Schumacher. Almost an end of an era podium. Perfect!
what an era, what a podium !!!
@Ponfi Not true at all but ok
@Ponfi That lotus is not a slow car. If the reliability didn't kick in for the renault engine, it would have been Grosjean 2nd in the other lotus.
@@wolfieodimm9151 ferrari was great? Ferrari was actually pretty bad but alonso was absolutely outdriving it
@@wolfieodimm9151 pal, they worked it out, the Ferrari was provably the 4th fastest car… 1.5 seconds off the pace at the start of the season

Like charles leclerc
Yeah as a Charles fan it’s painful when we rock up at monaco
The blinking owl was the best part
*Nine* consecutive DNFs at Interlagos from 1995-2003, and iirc he led at least three of them if not four or five. In that 2009 race he finished 8th after a puncture, while Button came back to 5th and the world championship.

Yes. I get chills every time I hear it.
Kobayashi didn’t get enough recognition for his Suzuka podium. Qualified 4th, ran 2nd for most the of race, and brought it home 3rd in a sauber (their last podium). 5 months later he’s not even on the grid...
To be fair that sauber was race winning potential so underrated is an overstatement.
@@noobednatherium4082 it had one opportunity to win a race. He was definitely underrated
@@PeRRXX and It didn't, did it?
@@noobednatherium4082 no it wasnt race winning potential, checos podiums were down to strategy and tyre saving that year. They were still well behind red bull and mclaren most races on outright pace
I wish we had Kamui for more time in F1. As you see in his WEC performances he is amazing… He was amazing in F1 too.
There is not better day to pay tribute to Senna than today, 7th of September (Independence Day of Brazil). Amazing!
Always in our hearts
his birthday is probably a better time eh
@@PedroKing19 yeah
Brazilians be like: Our President is a POS and you still want to milk them on our independence day?
Also Brazilians: Ayrton Senna? Yay!!!
Rubens pole was amazing
And the Brazilian commentary of it along with the grandstands screaming "RUBINHO! RUBINHO! RUBINHO!" was unreal
Well i got to agree and comentators nailed it 100%
And then of course in the race, where 1-stoppers had the advantage anyway, he got a puncture to finish 8th. Because Rubens at home was just cursed.
What Alonso did with the 2012 Ferrari was incredible. In credible
They put only ninth...
Worse than many pole-to-win races...
Incredible
He only managed 2 poles but more podium finishes than any other driver that year including 3 wins. He had as many podiums as McLaren.
Let's not forget the Ferrari was practically indestructible as well. What it lacked in pace, it made up in reliability. Hamilton and Vettel would have easily beaten him if they had the same reliability. Nonetheless his driving was incredible, definitely turned me from Alonso hater to an Alonso fan.
Feelgood home GP moments and Rubens Barrichello don't go together
He could probably star a whole Top 10 Heartbreak Home GP Moments video
To be fair, every home gp achievement is special and cannot be ranked.
It can, and Senna is #1.
Massa's Win was still a Loss...i guess that's why he is not in the list
@@DiegoRYT not his 06 win. That deserves to be in the list
@@roflcoptero Villeneuve was the first Canadian to win a race, first Canadian to win in Canada, it was Villeneuve's first win and on top of all that it was the first time the Canadian GP was held at the track in Montréal (it had been held in Québec before but it was in Mont-Tremblant). It's hard to get something more significant than that.
@@roflcoptero no senna should have won it before but prost was better. Kamui's achievement was better
Valencia 2012 was one of the best races I ever saw. I was crying when he won the race on that day.
I was crying because Schumi's podium
Honorable mention: Sebastian Vettel at Germany 2019! That was an amazing drive, truly awesome.
Also Takuma Sato in 2002 Japan Suzuka GP Grand Finale Round at home race to score his first career points at 5th place
@Християн Димов ayo we got a mazespeed fan
Brazil's GP was a inside battle for senna....in a deep analyses, in that day, senna won himself...his ghost! It was memorable!!
SENNA!
Senna screaming utter jubilation gives me chills every time.
He was also screaming in pain because he had a gearbox issue and was driving one handed many times to prevent the car going to neutral and losing the race
I remembering Ayrton's victory in Brazil, almost make me cry. Senna forever!!!
Aryton Senna do Brazil!!

#1 is obvious, glorious and heartbreaking all at the same time. Senna, the greatest!!!
Especially when he was stuck in 6th gear too, unbelievable talent
His radio transmission makes me tear up every time. The pure will and determination needed just to finish that race - not to mention win - is astonishing. It's one of those very special moments in F1 history.
That video of the helicopter shot of Max winning the Dutch Grand Prix with the fireworks and the smoke will be played in every highlight reel about F1 forever
I knew Senna’s would make the top! What an incredible moment in history, broken gear box, and he never won that track, the anxiety, the pain. Yet the master of Monaco did it, lifting the flag up high. Seeing him needing help getting out of the car always makes me sad.
Senna's scene is more than legendary and beautiful ❤️❤️
"Sebastian Vettel, where are you now?!"
a) Winning the world championship 4 times after that statement
b) Probably pronouncing his name properly.

Is this Barrichello’s father?
He looks almost the same 🙂
Yes it is, Rubens Sr. or Rubão as we call him here in Brazil.
yeah, i call it Rubão (big rubens)
I always get tears whenever I watch senna take that Win and screaming out of pure nirvana..
Im not old, but the Dutch GP was so awesome, no trash, live anthems, full capacity at Free Practice, just everything. ❤
Imagine not only Verstappen but De Vries as well next year two Dutch drivers
I’m an English f1 fan & Lewis fan , I just think you guys in the orange army were awesome all weekend . Full respect to you my friend ✌️
Idk if you noticed but the lady they chose to sing the national anthem there at the end of the grand prix did a *HORRENDOUS* job of lip singing... Somebody even made her laugh during it hahahaha
Great thread guys. Just wondered what your thought are on this. 2023 Lewis retires . Would max go to merc?

Seems like something we'll never see repeat in the modern Formula 1
Kamui's podium in Suzuka will always be one of my favourite memories of F1, loved it
Such a shame we have never had a F1 gp (in finland)
Kymiring?
I agree. Finland had great F1 drivers! They should have a grand prix…..
Maybe even a late night grand prix in June?! 🙂
Yeah it's very strange, and more thinking that Finland has got multiple F1 champions
Man I really wish we could go back to Hockenheim, Imagine the scenes if Seb was on the podium. That's if there is a crowd ofcourse.
I wasn't born in 1991, and I am not much of a Senna or McLaren fan, but that home win for Senna and his scream after that, gives me goosebumps

Fernando's win Valencia 2012. Epic. Im spanish and I cried too with that win.
Ayrton in Brazil is sooooo epic! :(
This is my favourite top 10 in the history of the channel. Senna 1991 had to be no 1 and great they included Kobayashi 2012 and Webber 2002 because some of the great moments were not always winning ones.

Love it how they dont mention when vettel won in his home country for the first time in 2013 or when he made a crazy comeback for P2 in 2019.
I saw the thumbnail and imediatly new what scene it was. Michael drove in my opinion the gratest F1 season of any driver ever in 1995.
