oof... proprietary resins only... big deal breaker for me
Awesome machine and the auto supports will only get better over time. I would almost consider buying but... The big elephant in the room is not being able to use third party resins. Their resin cost ranges from $65 to $99 a liter. Whereas third party resins average about $20-25. I understand they want to keep their ball in their sandbox but at least through a bone and open up the ability to add third party resins and resin settings. Hopefully they will open up but lots of people have said not being able to use third party resins is the deal killer. I know it is for me. Hell, if they allowed third party resin and tweak settings I would buy it in a second. Hopefully HeyGears gets the hint.
I know it all depends on the size of a print but how many prints do you think you can get out of one bottle given the cost?
What would happen if you just refilled the container with a 3rd party resin?
5:01 do you think they are going to come after you or something?
man, resin printing looks so messy! I appreciate the extra effort HeyGears has put into making the process more streamlined
Resin 3d printing asmr video when!
How's the resin smell ?? Is it horrible??
It doesn't smell nice while printing, but it's not nearly as horrible as some other cheaper resin printers I've used. With good ventilation, I didn't have an issue being in the same room as it during a 5 hour print, but I do try to avoid it if possible. Hope this helps!

Hello!
I like you!
Or i can get a printer that is actually large AND affordable then use a couple dollars in stuff from the dollar store to render the messy argument moot.
Even for a small business i couldnt justify this, a cheap desktop sandblasting box or two and some cheap uv LEDs have more bulk capacity anyway.
The printer is $1300 lol. Not $4000
The combo package I showed in this video (Printer, cure, wash, resins) is roughly 4000 Australian dollars
holy moly 150$ for each bottle of plastic you buy after that, @louisrossman has some choice words for this printer
That’s Australian dollars which includes VAT. That resin is $89 US. Still not cheap, but you’re paying for convenience.
