West Japan's Best Car Show

- Earlier this year I attended one of Japan's best (in my opinion) all-genre car shows. There truly was much more to the event than in this video, but all I'm able to do is present the types of cars that are usually featured on this channel. The car on the thumbnail is a 1970 Nissan Gloria station wagon (no, not a Pontiac), which has been lowered and exhibits some of the most glorious patina I've seen in recent time.
There are two cars in this video that I'd like to go in depth in in separate videos, and they're an late 1970's/early 1980's Mitsubishi Colt/Mirage 1600GT, and the other is a BNR32 GT-R Skyline with Nismo and Impul parts a plenty.

S220 Crowns hard to find in Japan?? (I see heaps) I actually like them, but I don't see them as fitting the Wa and Sabi theme. One day though
@@wasabicars Ok ok, let's up the challenge - find one that isn't white, black, or silver. Last year when I was there I feel like I saw one at every intersection. Not that I'm complaining, they are handsome cars.
But yes, given long enough time they all become Wasabi Cars.
10:30 I *think* we got these cars in North America as the Dodge Colt. They certainly didnt last long here on the East coast, as rust would rapidly consume them. Nice to see this well preserved unit.
Ah, the yellow Mitsu 2-door. Yeah, and different name in Australia too. And sadly, as common to see as in the East Coast of the US

Always liked seeing them because they were so different from everything else.

I know the Agnes B brand and I have several of their garments. It's a french clothing company that doesn't advertise, so it's quite funny to see it on a kaido racer! The brand is queue popular and famous in Japan. Haruki Murakami refers to it several times in his books

My vf Calais v v8 wagon is an excellent daily for short trips, similar fuel economy to your stato, but i only need to fill up fortnightly. It's great on the highway too.
Stato? I'm a bit confused. Statesman? Stationwagon? Neither of which I own. VF Calais V8 wagon sounds heaps cool though
There's a house on my way to work that has a black and gold Dodge D50 pick up, which is a Mitsu pick up. Hardly ever see those anymore...and then anouth house not far from that has an old Chevy LUV.

The Mitsubishi’s that Chrysler imported as Colts and ram 50/d50’s had those little imported for dodge stamps on them.

D50 was its first name as that was the crossover between Chrysler and Mitsubishi in the early 80's.
