Would you take a drive in one of the rally cars going full speed? 😅
heh, as i mentioned PTF racing before in comments... well, their car isnt the best one by its suspension and steering and so... but they did 170kmh in thin SNOWY road... and almost 130kmh was the average speed in that stage... i would probably shit myself as the car looks like trash can and its from 70's... :D
Fuck yeah man, pure adrenaline at its finest
Dude... please dont say that to any one " nitrous oxide ", nitrous only makes flames on frikking Fast and Furious movies lmao, thats the Anti-Lag system, in order to keep the turbo in high revs the system poors petrol directly in to the exhaust, thats what provoque the flames
I have, not a WRC, but a class under. I almost puked 🤢
I used to be a rally navigator in the 70s. Even did an event in a works ford escort RS2000
That voice in the first clip wasn't a commenter, it was the co-driver in the passenger seat calling out pace notes for the driver.
1:28 these cars don't have nitro. The flames are because there is enough fuel left in the exhaustgas when they get off the gas that it combusts in the extreme hot exhaustpipe. There is also an antilag system where a small combustion is created between the engine and the turbo when the get off the gas so that the turbocharger keeps produceing boost despite the engine reving down and produceing less exhaustgas. These two things combined cause the flames
Also the codriver isn't a commentator, it is the navigator. He is the one that has the notes when what condition will be on the track like the direction of the corner, the speed of the corner and sometimes aditional stuff like if you can or can't cut the corner or if there is a jump comeing etc
actually, in finland, women and even kids are driving rally. Kalle rovanperä who is now 21 years old, the youngest ever WRC champion crowned this year. he started driving rally cars in age of 7 years old. 7 years!!!^
there is video of him training the skill on rear wheel drive rally Starlet in age of 8 and i can say, he probably did better than me back in that days than i do now in age of 25 years... :D
6R4s at full chat through the forests of Tweeddale, 40 years ago. Magic.
Most of those crowds are European and they are just nuts when it comes to spectating. It is heavily regulated here in N.Z. with only approved viewing stations at a safe distance.
One of the most popular rally cars would be the Ford Escort which were particularly well suited and readily available for the backyard racer.
The other passenger is the co pilot and they call out what is coming ahead, left turn right turn etc how tight they are and their length.
That "Mannequin" as you called it was a blow up doll and she was twirling her panties around lol. That is why everyone cheered as that driver spun in that corner.
That doll was Hilarious... It makes alot more sense now! I appreciate the information. Thank you 🤜💥🤛
These cars go hard asf 😂💯🔥🔥
If you want to see insane precision at speed, I suggest you look for a video titled "⚡ROAD WARRIORS✔ IRISH☘ROAD RACING + (Southern100, Isle of Man)"
MORE!!!!
YES 💯🔥
A top end rally car usually tops out at 130mph
At 6:40-ish. "Oh shit! No brakes!"
Rallycars does NOT use nitro. It was gas/gasolin/benzin in the very warm exhaust
That save on two wheels in the beginning is my friend Pelle.
That was fricken AWESOME!!!!!!?
react to Group B - when rallying got too fast
Here’s a clip of a female rally driver at highest most dangerous era of rally.
Love rally I think they have best drivers in the world any time of day in any weather on every surface!
different countries have kind of different cars the popularity, in finland nowadays toyota starlet, corolla GT AE86 (kinda starts to be rare too because all of them are crashed and fucked up nowadays lol) and bmw e36's seems been most popular ones, in the past there was toyota starlet, ford escort and Lada 2101 - 2105 models. ladas are a bit rare todays in finnish rally scene but when you see them, i get hyped and one team called PTF-Racing team's lada is one of the most iconic today in finland. so many people loves it.
In Sweden Volvo reigns supreme 😅 At least among the public. So fun racing a 240 along the Swedish forest roads (or on a frozen lake) 😁
One of the best driving sports out there!
YES! This is insane 💯
Not nitrous. That's an anti-lag system that sprays unburnt fuel into the exhaust to keep the the turbo spinning between gear changes.
6:32 his brakes were out! The driver was shouting "Putain les freins!!!!" (Shit!!! The Brakes!!)
🤭🤣🤣🤣🤣
Poor Buggas HAHA
The top speed of a rallycar are around 200 km/h (120 mp/h) for the top class which is WRC, but they can go at that speed almost reguardless of the terrain they're on
A Group B rallycar costs about 130.000 Euro
Thanks bro! Welcome to the world of Rally! This was quite old and low level racing mostly. Watch the modern WRC Rally, like WRC Rally Jyväskylä 2021-22, and you`ll see the difference. Best modern WRC Cars are Toyota, Hyundai, Ford and Skoda. There are so many different "classes"/levels/countries in Rally that you will see all kind of cars and manufacturers. I highly recommend also Group B -Rallies. Best regards from Finland.
Oh man! Let's do it 🙌
@@NZBOYY C`mon!!! FYI, TT Race Isle of Man will blow you away, if you have not seen any videos yet!
I'm going to watch that video today! Excited to see what it's about. You have me hyped !!!! Reaction will be up tomorrow 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The "narrator" you refer to is the navigator (co-driver) who provides information on what's ahead, because the driver has no knowledge of the route (stage) their on so it's a mater of trust from the driver and navigator.
I've heard, if road conditions are right they've been able to reach 140mph+.
This is the most fan interactive motor sport (any sport) I know of. ;-)
There's some awesome female rally drivers, but Michele Mouton is the most accomplished, IMHO.
I believe you asked what's the most popular car used in rallying?
I've tried to find that out for myself and the best answer I can give is, there's three brands I normally see the most of.
Citroën, Peugeot and Renault, it's rare that expensive cars (Ferrari, Porsche, etc...) are raced and in some rallies they have a majority of a certain brand, like Saab and Volvo, but the most expensive cars you may see are BMWs.
Though you may see some exotics like a Lancia Stratos and Renault A310 or if their highlighting Group B cars, that's a whole new level.
In the past, fans would reach out and try to touch the cars as they raced by, now that's crazy. ;-)
I appreciate this! Much Love 🙌
The plastic rope is to protect women and children and the baricades is only for very small girls. ;)
Regarding women in Rally, the Simonite sisters were very competetive.Check out Group B Rally. The guy reading in the car is reading Pace Notes that describe the road ahead with corners being given a numerical value depending on the severity of the corners, they rarely see out of the window in a Stage.
That would be an adrenaline filled role reading the notes! Excited to check the group out 😃
@@NZBOYY NZ used to have a WRC Rally there a few years ago,not sure if it still happens.Check out some of the crazy jumps as well.czcams.com/video/Nr928g2uHA4/video.html
Michelle Mouton world rally champion in an audi quattro in the 80s
I think the most famous car in rally history is the Audi quattro Group B
You should react to zeroundersteer videos of rally legends, the best rally videos out there
🙌
They run at speeds of 150/160 km/h and a group A car ( like the Subarus ) will cost you around 300 000€
Obviously this isn´t "The Best of Rallying", but rather, "Oddities of The Rallying". ; )
Hahaha thank you for your response 🙂
Group b rallying is insane fastest cars with thousands of people on the road
I need to check that out 🤭🔥
If you don’t think women drive rally check out the Story of Michelle Mouton! Best female driver of all time in my book.
You need to check out Possum Bourne he is one of your countryman best ever driver.
The cars from, my understanding are standard production cars (usually 4WD) that are then 'modified', and all additional weight (back seats, carpets, trim removed). The only addition (apart from the super-tuned engine) is the addition of a roll cage. In your video you showed clips of the Ford Sierra XR4 (the one with the big tail fin) but I am sure that car had a Cosworth engine which was an independent engine manufacture owned by Ford. Its a great spectator sport, you should look into the RAC rally held here in the U.K.
There are a way better footages, like WRC Rally Finland 2022 Flat Out & Big Jumps,
check this out and you will find what the rally driving is really about.
But thanks anyway I hope you will enjoy this too. Take care.
Looking forward to it 😌
Expect airtime. Expect Finns.
This is rally 9 has some big crashes and other good clips if you're interested
Absolutely! Sounds like fun 😁
cars don't spit flame because of nitrous
Woops ... To much Fast and the furious 😂🤣😅
Michèle Mouton queen of stell
Elisabete Jacinto desert queen
No nitroux in rally
You think they'd consider it one day? 🤭😅
@@NZBOYY No way, you can have it in a dragracing car but if you use it for a long time you will blow the engine to kingdome come. They got turbos and that works just fine, they cant have more power then they got now, otherwise they are back to Group B, and that was to dangerous, to many got killed
NOS ??? JUST TURBO
🤭😅
Rallying or Rally 😅
Both 🤔😅
Nitrous on a rally car? Lol this is motorsports, not a movie...
There is no Nitrous in a rally car mate
Oh my bad 😂
@@NZBOYY just an enormous pair of testicles and a lot of commitment ha
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🔥🔥🔥🔥
Check out Group B rally if u want to see rallying in its finest era
