    Who would have throught climate change would affect keeping an aquarium...
    I had major issues last year with really long heatwaves.
    A cheap alternative for anyone need a short term solution without spending lots of money are USB fans.
    Or pedistal fans. They are great for a few days of high temps.
    Just remember fans increase water evaporation.

    Good afternoon, very clear and giving us several options…, now it is our turn to get one or another.
    I know that we have more feeders than days in a year, but i miss the Rondomatic 400 model, not this one but the idea… for shrimps is the perfect as you put the correct amount, even you could have some days empty.
    You have my like 👍🏻

    I installed the simple Jebao with a Red Sea kit, it's perfect for a simple PPS pro fertilization. Slavery units are avalaible with Jebao too.

  • @aquascapebarendrecht946

    Very nice information my friend. But you forget the most important to tell. When the water vaporation is higher the co2 level will also go down because of the higher vaporation it's faster out of the water

    Chihiros fan have a new version with app control 20 speeds and smart temperature control that will adjust the speed of the fan according the the water temperature, super handy and most time will keep the noise to minimum

    Tommy, you did not introduce the Collar aFan which, due to its small design, is probably best for nanos only but suits your eyes much better and is said to be less noisy than others. Any comment on these?

  • @ahfadsiaran6406
    @ahfadsiaran6406 Před rokem

    In my country it's hard to get temp below 26 by using fan can only get 28-29. But it can easily get 32 without using fan. For using an intercooler/chiller can get to 25-27 but the problem is the price. Only a few can afford to buy it.. the meaning is in my country which is Malaysia for us everyday we had war against temperature fluctuate problems 😂

      Maybe try rigging some pc fans. They are pretty affordable and might be worth looking into.

    Amazing video!!.....i have a question....if i use cooling fan....do i need to increase the co2 bps?or it will be fine how it is? I mean if i use cooling fan do i lose more co2?

    • @GreenAquaShop

      No need to increase the CO2 if you take care of the evaporated water 👍

      Some easy plants can still work in that condition. But delicate ones need cooling.

    In America, we use what’s called central air, it’s these little square holes in the ceiling and it pushes out cool air controlled by a thermostat on the wall. We generally set them around 72°F/22°C

    is it just me, but those fan set ups look like they are using computer fans?

    • @GreenAquaShop
      @GreenAquaShop  Před rokem +2

      Some of them are more resistant. But you can also build one with a good qual computer fan and some 3D printing for the holder. Maybe not that nice, but it gives better performance.

    • @PaulZyCZ
      @PaulZyCZ Před rokem

      Could be. Computers fans have been popular for DIY solutions both for cooling LED chip fixtures and the tank itself. However I'd expect these would be less prone to accidents and humidity.
