Ella Purnell is the voice of Jinx in Arcane, and she was also one of the main actors in Army of the Dead. And especially as Jinx she is outstanding. Can't imagine any other voice for that character.

The roguelite DLC for Splatoon 3, "Side Order", is very fun. I highly recommend it. I'm playing it as I listen to this so I was pleasantly surprised to see Splatoon brought up.
Great review, definitely gonna check it out. My favorite video game adaptations are Castlevania, Arcane, Onimusha, DOTA: Dragon's Blood, and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners (all weirdly on Netflix, lol).

Mike talking about being able to play with friends as a positive for 76, but that's the leading reason I dont like it.
They can add all the NPCs and whatever they want, but the core design of how the game works is not something I want from a Fallout game.
I'm so with the crew here, give me atleast a remaster. Where is the fallout content!
I personally always prefer things dropping the whole season at once, I don't always have free time during certain weeks due to work and family life so being able to pick up when i have free time and almost like check back in when i can fit an episode in rather than waiting a week and hoping i can work it into my schedule. IDK if I conveyed my point well but i just prefer the option, allows me to be more flexible with my watching schedule

Likely due to the cast, blessing and mike for example. Greg is really only on comic book stuff now or Ghostbusters. Maybe they aren't treating this as a full review and will go into more thoughts later? I thought Tim would be on here for sure.

As someone who hasn't played any of the Fallout games; this was definitely a great show. Highly recommend! Although I think some game fans seem upset about something maybe ret-conning Fallout: NV or something? Idk.

hmmm. Don't want to spoil stuff but 1&2 are probably the most important for the show. Shady Sands is a HUGE plot point. HUGE. As in everything in the show has to do with what happens/happened there.

What you mean? That game is full of quests that have more than one outcome depending on what you do. Hell you can’t even get to the end game unless you make the correct choice.
The only character that I can think of who appeared in the show and in the game is Mr. House.
Although the show is set on the West Coast and not the East, it is however set in 2277. So we can conceivably see characters from Fallout 3 (also set in 2277).
The show is set in 2296.

God I can’t believe how they got me to re-fall in love with fallout. It “fell out” from time and future tech… but they really did make it feel like your own fallout story. The most horrifying comedic mess… prime f*cking did it again. Fallout and upload all I need from them. If last of us needed a competitor to be better for next series…. Prime did it with fallout. And my god. If they go to new Vegas I’m gonna Jonah hill scream and hug my wife

Johnathan Nolan is so underrated. He said in an interview that he was a gamer and played the fallout games. And only took the job because he played the games and had the freedom to make his own stories unlike certain adaptations.
I know game development is tough and all that jazz but Xbox and Bethesda completely dropped the ball by not having a Fallout remaster of any kind to line up with the release of the show. I fell like they just can’t get it right 😂

Weekly episodes are never better than getting them all at once. These guys don’t realise because they work with people who are obsessed with games and movies and tv. However the average joe doesn’t have that. Most guys who work a regular job arent gonna have 10 people to have “water cooler” talk about a tv show every single week.

I think weekly episodes are a really good thing, specifically for the first season of a new show that is trying to build a viewing audience. week to week builds suspense, gives people something to talk about all week and maybe rewatch the episodes, and absolutely gives a show time to build hype and a larger audience week by week.
some shows don't work so well week to week but a show like this with a central mystery and so many questions to theorize about, this show would have absolutely killed it week to week.
I love to binge a show for different reasons but I am OK with some shows being week to week. I would have actually loved this show to have been released week to week.
@@TMV420 problem there would be that most shows are still finding their identity in a first season and episodes are often hit and miss. With weekly episodes all you need is one bad one and you lose a lot of people as they don’t have another episode to immediately watch.
We will see. Fallout is great because you can do whatever you want and make your own adventure.This is going to be like watching a NPCs story

Everyone raving about New Vegas a game where you do nothing but wander with no events or interactions until you reach a city. I feel like Obsidian is one of the most overrated studio. New Vegas was boring. I've played The Outer Worlds 3 times I still don't know any of the characters names, or what even happened in the story. Grounded is fun with friends but has a trash story. Pentiment was boring. I just find their games a chore to play. IDK man.
Yeah I agree New Vegas is very overrated. It’s an empty game with hardly any content, the story is about an hour long and the side quests all consist of you basically doing fetch quests for different factions. I never understood why people liked it so much.
