It’s clearly showing us that Eddie never came into our MCU in Venom 2/NWH.
That isn’t Mordo. Why would Mordo be in the military when he’s a literal wizard, with magic powers? He’s a completely different character, and credited as a completely different character.
That says that it isn’t Mordo, and when Eddie was pulled into a new universe, it was just a similar universe and not our MCU.

I like Venom 1, I like Let There Be Carnage, this looks fun. I'm there weekend one, probably. These movies are dumb fun, and i enjoy them a lot.
Edit, the farther i got into them speculating the more excited I'm getting for this. I hope everything they are saying is true because it sounds fantastic and dumb and I need it.
These types of movies are the only expections where I don't give a shit it the story is crap as long as the movie is entertaining enough to distract me.
About modo and venom connection. Mordo was in a spiderman episode with venom. He gave cloths the carnage symbiote and tried to use him to resurrect dormammu. Venom and spider had to team up to stop them

I for one enjoy venom 1 and 2, i think both are great films because they are entertaining, good cast and even though they are not perfect, that doesn't matter to me as long as the stories are good. I loved carnage in the second movie unlike other people. These are better than most films made. There is no Spidey but that is not important, he has his own movies already so he don't need to be in everything to make it good. I give the trailer, first and second movie a big 👍👍👍👍
At this point they are popular for veing dumb fun movies. In Aecret Wars we NEED this Venom to fight a serious af Venom scene.

This looks rough, looks like the storyline is bottom tier, and any MCU retconning is just Sony being clueless.
MCU retconning is Disney telling Sony to take their symbiote out of the MCU. Why do people think Sony doesn’t want to make billions of dollars? It only makes sense for Sony to want Venom in the MCU, not out of it.

I don't usually get negative, but all the Sony marvel stuff gets me bent out of shape.
The pettiness levels of the studios is hilarious.
1. Sony gets Spider-Man in their post credits scene for Venom 2 to bring Venom into the MCU, and to get people to see their awful movie.
2. Marvel allows this knowing they're gonna send him RIGHT back in the NWH post credits, and leaving a piece of the symbiote behind to possibly do their own version.
3. Sony puts the MCU Vulture in the post credits scene of Morbius and it makes absolutely no sense. Also to get people to see their awful movie.
4. Sony makes the guy who plays Mordo in Doctor Strange, who is probably playing a different character, take the symbiote back from the MCU. Sony probably didn't interpret that scene correctly and think it's in their universe.
Fuck Avi Arad. Fuck Sony. This looks like trash.

Not sure why everyone blames Sony for something that’s not their fault. Sony wants Venom in the MCU so badly that they put Spider-man at the end of Venom 2 and Disney yeeted him out of their because they don’t want Sony Venom. Sony left a piece of the symbiote in the MCU to try and keep Venom in the universe and Disney told them to fuck off. Follow the money people, Sony knows that MCU Spider-man makes them billions and that means they want Venom in the MCU, not out.

These movies would be sick if they didn’t do the corny jokes and made it less of a buddy comedy and more of a psychological thriller.
the fact that they spent 30 good minuets of their day pretending to be somewhat interested and that this will be a movie worth anyone's time is astounding.
I mean these movies have a high audience rating, and they are the only Sony SpiderMan Universe movies to have a huge BO return. So I guess it still quite a lot.

That bar scene makes absolutely no sense unless the crazy theory about Mordo is true. Same bar, same employee, same shirt. Yes, it makes sense that Brock would arrive at a version of the same bar when returning to his universe. But obviously, the symbiote shouldn't be there.

They are clearly just using the actors as “pseudo Sony Variants” for the sake of intrigue but it clearly isn’t working that way. He gets transported back to his universe and the symbiote is left behind in both. Dumb either way. Ridiculous we had a great Spider-Man in the MCU and Sony is messing it up with this weird version of Venom. Just trash the movie and wait to introduce a new Venom during Secret Wars
