Half way through watching this my girlfriend pulls my head phones off me and tells me I'm going to be a dad!!!!! I can't tell anyone. But I guess it wouldn't hurt to tell thousands of strangers il never meet. Good video.... I think... I can't concentrate now..
Jack Taylor congratulations to you.
Well you can forget about buying either of these bikes then for a while. ;-)
LOL, exactly what I thought !!! no toys for you for a while ;-)
I hv 2 boys aged 4 and 3..today i m taking them to ducati show room for the v4 base...congratulations to both of you!!!cheers!
Stick it in the pooper and no babies come out lol
Fabulous work you chaps - I'm in awe of your production quality and effort.......top job!
Great production, the channel is getting better and better. Awesome video.
Love these REAL world comparisons and talking points outside of the standard jibber jabber anyone looking at a spec sheet can regurgitate. Glad you guys point out that whats on paper does not always necessarily translate the way you would expect... nice to see you also mention how much easier or more pleasurable a certain bike can be to ride over another vs just saying one is simply the “faster” bike and that’s it.
I wanted to say thank you, motorcycling is such a niche market we are lucky to have you guys making quality content, great cinematography and humour to boot cheers Chris and Al you guys are what the industry needs!
Creme Brulee
BaronVonGrumble is he your twin .... the bald fat one I mean
Creme me please Chris
grownsimbaa my word...
Bick Mitchum Don’t say the thought of it doesn’t excite you, because I know it does
grownsimbaa have you been looking through my window again ?!?
Jeez, you guys have stepped it up another notch, yet again! I thoroughly enjoyed this and just want to thank you for your hard work.
Keep safe 👍
Really these are the reviews i look for when researching any bike. The combined experience of you two and the insight really seperate you from the rest which i see as just media booklet repetition reviews. Also like jason stathams insight from his time as a racer. Thanks!
WOW just WOW, was waiting for this one and didn't disappoint. Incredible comparison review guys and very honest
Lamb Chop Rides cheers chops!
The review everyone wanted to see, good job geezers, entertaining as ever 👍
Not my sort of bike (too old) but I always want what you guys review! You keep me entertained whilst also being very informative, not getting overly technical. Your skills in getting across how the bike rides and feels to me watching , it's like I was there too....That really is a skill like no other channel.
Yet another jizz wateringly perfect 44T edition to the hall of CZcams. Gents I salute you and applaud the content 👌👌
Instant like. I wish you posted more often I need my 44teeth fix!
Jason Smith 2 uploads a week is a lot!
grownsimbaa have they had 2 a week? I mean I just wanna see more, it’s a good thing
Awesome content chaps. The best thing on here (by a long stretch) if you are into two wheels. Thank you
Great video, so much more fun and entertaining than old style ‘reviews/shootouts’. It’s amazing how in the past few years you guys have quickly become the best motorcycle content on CZcams. Well done.
Lost interest in the football as soon as this flashed up brilliant again from 44t
I just want to thank you guys for making these videos. With my twenty year advance on your lives, my pulse quickens, and my eyes stray hard into the turns as I wonder if I could even keep half a pace with you.
I have never done a track day, but being able to vicariously join you is such a treat. Maybe someday I’ll get a go, besides the occasional high speed exit off the freeway.
But, I have to keep an eye on my golf game too. ; )
You guys deserve every bit of success. Your passion really comes through in the videos and is reflected in the quality too!
What a video. It’s great to see how relaxed you both are but how well you get around a track! Never had my knee down in a year of riding. But watching you elbow down makes me want to push the lean further!!
this is motorcycle journalism at it's best 👍🏼
This is honestly my favourite style of motorcycle video you guys do. Can’t wait to see more!
Great reviews guys. You are killing it.
God, yes. That intro from 0:00 to 0:30 was amazing with the music and humor. Love it.
Lovely watching. Especially the fluro-leathered, truth-laden compare-contrast chat at the end. So many angles covered in such a short timeframe - that’s a value-add video! 👏
I've never bought merch from a youtube channel before, but the quality of these videos made it worth it for sure! Looking forward to the golden sticker
Damn its nice to see this channel growing, best bike channel hands down!!
This is next level.
Absolutely smashing it out of the park chaps! Always struggled with the more track based content....not my thing so much, but your delivery and balance of content was spot on....makes me want to do some track days in an orange high viz leather onesie! Best thing on You Tube....Love it!
I wish these two guys got more "publicity" for lack of a better word. The production quality is great and the humor and dialogue doesn't feel forced or scripted like it does in other "main stream" motorcycle journalism videos/channels. This format of "two best buds that ride jizz machines then tell everyone what it's like" suits their personalities perfectly. You two (and whoever else is helping you guys, if they exist) deserve more recognition for this great content that you're producing because, quite frankly, it's fantastic.
Just looking at this review as I have a twinkle in my eye for a track V4.
Thank you guys, very thoughtful and helpful.
Top production, great content, funny and informative.....by far THE best motorcycle channel on You Tube. Thanks guys.
Well done guys, I always look forward to your videos. Congratulations Chris on the BMW HP4 RACE.
Best analysis and awesome quality stuff you guys are doing. .. I am fan ..keep it up guys!
This was a really good vid, the budget bikes was the best thing I've seen on telly/anywhere this year, so I've bought a couple of 44Teeth stickers to go on my new Tiger 1200 that I'm picking up on Friday... :-)
Channel gets better and better. Love your work
Well done lads!
Great video for fuelling my excitement for getting back on my 750cc Aprilia. Two months till the end of my ban, although now you got me tempted at getting the RSV4 in the nearer future. For the track only of course ;)
Smashing it boys, I never comment on anything... but I love your content.
Every one of your videos keeps me gripped all the way to the end.
World Cup - 0...44 Teeth - 1. Superb guys.
Another fantastic review. Was eagerly awaiting this comparo after I heard about this in another video of yours. I was almost sure the Ducati would've done faster lap times considering it is newer and a bit more powerful, but was pleasantly surprised to see the Aprilia hold that tiny edge. Thank you for the objective analysis of both the bikes. Rock on !!
Great vid guys. Appreciate the objectivity and detail of a 2 bike test.
Was a Baron fan for ages, been a 44T fan since day 1, just love the way you present this stuff, such a breath of fresh air in moto journalism. There is something about the robotic and cookie cutter fashion that the 'rest' of the moto world provide content. You guys appeal to the every man, because you ARE every men. Many thanks boys. Adam, Australia.
Amazeballs. Been waiting ages for this. Thanks for the mention! Great vid and trip lads :)
Another super video, thanks guys!
Brilliant, balanced, fun.. Best channel by far.
I'm not a sportbike guy, but you guys are a lot of fun to watch. This video brought me into your Patreon world. Keep up the great work and I'm proud to be a sponsor... Keep it fun and informative fellas...
WOW yes! 44T never disappoints! But would be cool to see a comparison to the super expensive Honda Rcv213s. I watched a Japanese channel that compared some data and it was very interesting even though I really cant speak Japanese that well :D
It's trying to get hold of an RCV that's the issue
Mm, not that many would be willing to lend their precious gem to be tortured by others than themselves.
Great video as usual! You guys deserve way more subscribers. Keep up the good work.
As always, you guys make some of the highest quality reviews. Love the depth of discussion paired with the humor. Never stop 🤘
No bad audio issues :)
Great job guys!!! You really stepped it up. Keep it coming.
Gr8 video, impressive production. Keep up the good work chaps
Yet another great review on track thanks lads 👌👍
awesome, finally you got them both on track - so the Aprilia is the refined, composed, stable steady performer and the Ducati is the wild, fun, sexy red tart, but soooo close on lap times, as an 17 RSV4 owner I agree with its stability and useable power but still thought you guys would lap quicker on the V4 Ducati, just goes to show there are more ways than power alone to make a fast lap. great video
Ride the RSV4 on track. It's like it was born to do it. It's just so damned easy to ride fast.
I have & I do, and I will be again in 3 weeks :-)
... that's not why it isn't as fast. It's not as fast because Ducati still can't make a chassis to keep up with its power delivery.
Nah, "head engineer" sounds like its more your speed. :)
LOL, everyone on here is an expert .... didn't you know ;-)
But seriously there is still some work to do on the setup / chassis etc. Ducati have dropped the 'frameless' design of the 119/1299 in favour of this new 'front frame' - both are good in theory and save weight but working out the correct flex/rigidity, balance etc. is not as easy as the well tried and tested traditional beam frame design. Remember when 'box frames' suddenly became obsolete when the 'alloy beam frame' appeared around the mid / late 90's, thats 20 years of development ahead of the 'front frame' so give it a little time.
Ducati are on to something great here, it is complex and will need work but I reckon in a year or 2 they will have it sorted. It is already a mile ahead of the 1299 - I love it !
Awesome videos and riding like a pro you guys are sick!!!! Keep them coming!
Another cracking video guys! Keep it up👌🏼
I enjoy your video's. That Panigale just looked for much fun to ride. You can see the rear end drifting through the corners. A real hero shot. Great video, cheers.
Once again a Fookin awesome Video, think I’ve watched it 3 times now, as a older rsv4 owner and possible new bike shopper next year this was right up my street 👍
Been waiting on you two's comparison of this!
Well done boyz, thoroughly enjoyed the antics. 44Teeth best show on two wheels!
First review of yours I've watched. Absolutely brilliant. And great impression of the wheely gun thingy aha.
love the vids boys keep them coming
This channel is so good!!
Keep em coming great videos guys 🤙🏼
My Monday no longer sucks. Thanks 44Teeth!
Great review and comparison gentlemen. I have the v4 speciale and absolutely love it, the week before i picked it up I rode the rsv4 rf. Loved it, it did feel a bit cramped to ride. But it all comes down to how riding it makes you feel, and in that sense Ducati has it all.
What a video, oh and the soundtrack is the best yet on any of your productions.
The quality is increasing every upload, you must have just given Carte Blanche to the budget... 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
Great, authentic review of these two amazing machines!!!
Best honest review currently available anywhere on all forms of media....keep up the epic content guys!!!!
Guys! Another fantastic video, you’re killing it for motorbike content on CZcams. No channel I’d rather watch!
Great review! I'm waiting to see what Ducati does with the baby pani and what new V4 models will come out in 2019.
Chris, your riding has become amazing! What an improvement!
30 seconds in .. and I'm already exited.. best intro!
Frickin` awesome video of you guys, as always
Top class as always! Quality review with humour!
Great job guys as always! I'd love to see an episode from you guys about trackdays in Europe in general for those of us who don't live in Europe (I'm from Australia). I'm planning to visit Italy and Spain and would love to know bit of detail about how trackdays work, in terms of cost, operators and track bike hire etc...
I've just come across this channel. It's the top gear for bikers. Best biking channel by Far. Keep them coming
With videos like this and BBB i keep getting the feeling that 44 teeth is becoming the TopGear of motorcycle channels on youtube. Keep Going!
The Panigale does turn in very well. I know exactly what he is referring to around the 16:30 mark. The first time I leaned into a serious corner, I ended up in the oncoming lane and that was during a left. Dives right in with the most subtle input.
There’s been a void in automotive programs since the Clarkson era of Top Gear. You guys have filled that gap. Fucking epic episode... as usual.
I enjoyed this review thanks Guys
I was gonna go about doing some repairs this morning. Got this notification. The repairs on the old truck can wait. hahaha
another great vid guys. i rode the ducati last week,OMG never realised adrenaline was brown, lol. it should be called the ducati millennium falcon. loved it shame i cant afford it.will try aprila soon. keep up the good work
Hilarious start, great video all together
I was waiting for this comparison, I choose the Aprilla even though I have an awsome 2017 Kawasaki ZX10R ! You guys gel well together and great riding on track , two thumbs up !
Getting better and better lads well done 👍
I love your talk shows!!! Talk sense to! . Sounds like id have to test ride both and decide from there
Coming back to this video, I forgot how awesome it is.
Amazing production on this Vid, gents! I've watched it a number of times. And WTF is that BANGER of a track at 11:30???
That intro track walk - double Kryten's. Awesome.
You lads do such a good job with your content.
Can tell Al is in charge of the music in the edit. Retired DJ skills shining through. Great work guys.
Once again, amazing test! It would be really nice if we could get, at least small, road test to compare those to bikes.
It's surprisng you said, that Panigale sounds very good on stock exhaust. A lot of people are complaing about it's sound, that it's too V2'ish, too quiet and compare it to Aprillia V4, which really have great sound.
Stasiek_Zabojca I still prefer the twin sound over the v4 sound of the Ducati. The Aprilla just sounds good.
You bastards! In the middle of the world cup game
Where is the link for the new T-shirts?
currently binging “reruns” of you two and couldn’t help but notice the funky monks outro at 22:30
Entertaining video for sure and thanks for posting. After watching I feel like the RSV is the one to have since it sounds better, runs a faster lap time, has usable ground clearance, is more stable, won't fry your man parts, costs a fraction of the ducati, and probably is more reliable since its been around for a while. I would also argue that an aprilia is more exotic since they are somewhat rare. That HP4 Race on the other hand :)))
I love you guys. Best motorcycle videos on CZcams
Great review as always lads 👌
So guys it took me two days to get through this video but I vigorously listened watched and we watched this video. Very interesting because I own a V4 and a 1299 and I have the Aprilia Tuono factory . And even though that is the naked eye very much compare character of all these bikes when I'm on road or track. Even though the Aprilia is a detailed well-oiled Italian machine I still prefer the Ducati even in the l-twin but back to your performance on this video again I can't get enough of you two together no homo. I just hope that you guys continue with your very informative and entertaining videos I am a screwball myself with humor so I get it. 😉
Just a tip for single side swing arm nuts . Give em 2 or 3 sharp hits with a nylon mallet first they come of a treat even when tightened to 220 nm
Statham with the old odd coloured boot trick, i used to do that at mx until i took two lefts to foxhill 🤦🏼♂️
