Alpha Heater Scam and Reviews, Explained

  • Alpha Heater scam is what users on Google are looking to find out as well as Nova Heater. They want to know if this heating product called Alpha Heater (or Nova Heater) is a scam and they're looking for reviews. Right off the top, let me tell you that this seems to be the same product that's been sold before under other names and they keep changing the name once the public realizes with all the bad reviews that the product doesn't do what's described.
    So here’s what this Alpha Heater scam is. It’s a small plug-in device that provides heat. There are claims that it can heat a whole room in minutes. It might be able to help out a small room, but don’t expect impressive results. Always remember that if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
    The Alpha Heater scam is nothing new, as I mentioned before. I checked Scamadviser’s channel and they said that this product has likely been known as Heater Pro X, Top Heat heater, Orbis heater, Elite Heat heater, Instaheat heater, and Alfa Flame heater. They also said that these products are known for coming from China, and that yes, they do get hot, but they won’t heat a room in minutes. And here’s the thing. The product works and gets hot if you put your hand near it, like I said. But I’m seeing high prices for the product from Indian websites, like $45, when you can basically get the same thing for far less money on Amazon and eBay if you just type in portable plug-in heater. If you want to get one and you have a tiny room, I mean go for it, but don’t get scammed and overpay. I myself have a Honeywell space heater that currently costs $55 from Target and heats up my whole office. Money well spent.
    I recommend checking out Scamadviser’s video which provided a good demonstration and a test of what appeared to be the same product when it was called Top Heat heater. I’ll include that link in the pinned comment down below.
    I hope my video helped. I’m spending my free time to make these videos like this one about the Alpha Heater scam to help people out. There are so many scams out there. Every day brings new scams, and you can only report on so many of them. But I figured I could do a little more on my own time on nights and weekends, and that’s exactly what I’m doing now. Scams can sometimes hurt people. Scams can take money from people. And not everyone has money to spare. So I hope I can help you on my channel. So please click the Like button, the thumbs up button, and subscribe.
    Also, feel free to check out my creative projects about New York City history and abandoned places in the pinned comment down below. Feel free to share your story in the comments below. Thanks so much for watching.

    The ad I saw for Alpha Heater today showed a young man they claimed to be a developer in Alaska. No, it’s Taylor Wilson, who lives in Reno and is famous for developing a nuclear reactor in his parents’ garage. They’re not even clever enough to insert a random person into their scam ads.

    The reason why it's a scam is because all resistance heaters (any heater that plugs into the wall and doesn't have any other fuel source) are essentially 100% efficient. A standard wall outlet in North America is rated for about 1500 Watts. Therefore any electric space heater rated for 1500 Watts will convert all of this electrical energy into heat. Different types of electrical heaters may distribute this heat differently, but the amount of heat energy in the room is the same no matter the heater. Only the wattage of the heater changes the amount of heat.

    • @garycrooks9881
      @garycrooks9881 Před 5 měsíci

      All electrical engineers would agree with evansuggs comments above because ALL electrical space or portable heaters are 100% efficient whether they cost $12 or $2,000. Yes this IS a SCAM because NOTHING can be more than 100% efficient. To say otherwise is to shamefully prey on people who are desperately trying to save on their heating costs.

No writing on the encasement anywhere, no dates, no shipping or billing information label and return address is from Jane in New Jersey with no paperwork. Prongs are not safety prongs. Thin plastic garbage I'm afraid to plug it in. Even the paper inside has no dates or how to return. No filter to be seen anywhere.

    Don't fall for the youtube ads for these heaters. I ordered 2 of these things and they are a fire hazzard. Both of mine would not stay plugged into the wall socket. They tip forward and partially expose the bare plug prongs in the wall. This was extremely shocking and painful to find out. This is a fire hazzard and a potential shock/electrocution hazzard. I got the ever loving life zapped out of me. These also get VERY hot. Do not plug them in where anything can get up against them. Good luck trying to get the remotes to work too. Neither of mine worked like they should have. I so wanted to like these heaters. I bought them to replace a couple of old small heaters I had in my bath rooms. Needless to say they will not be replacing anything in my house. The only good thing I can say about these is that when I contacted the company, they were very quick to do a refund, although they really pushed a hard upsell before doing it. Oh, and the company did not want them returned. THAT should tell you a lot.

They refused to send me an email with their return address...lol These people are selling dangerous junk and youtube is providing them a platform to do it. Shame on youtube for helping these companies/individuals defraud people who watch youtube videos. I don't believe I'll be purchasing anything from any of the advertisements interrupting the videos. And...if youtube keeps shortening the time between the ads, I'll seriously consider going elsewhere.

    • @SpaceCadet4Jesus
      @SpaceCadet4Jesus Před rokem +1

      Depends on your electricity costs, found usually on your bill. Most of the space heaters consume 1200-1500watts which is not a small amount. They run electricity through coils and sometimes a fan to blow out air surrounding the heated coils. The best heaters have fans and you can find them at Walmart, Target, Amazon, etc.
      There is no heat a room for cheap, unless it's a tiny room to small to crawl
      Into.

    • @jordanliles
      @jordanliles  Před rokem +3

      The Honeywell I mentioned that's around $55 at Target will keep a room that big warm, as long as the room isn't very tall in height and as long as the room is insulated around doors. It's a handy little heater and I love it.
