I'm over 60 years old had cataract surgery on my eyes I don't know what cataract lenses are made out of but that blasted into my face turning on. I would have to have additional surgeries if they were to get damaged by the heat. Pass that on to the manufacturer.
So if it only draws 350 watts does that mean I could use it with my emergency power supply in a power outage to take the edge off if the room gets really cold?
Honestly I wouldn't depend on the tiny heater in extremely cold scenarios. I'd probably say this works pretty well for small rooms that are insulated and it's 20-30 degrees outside. I have one setup in my laundry room area to help prevent pipes from freezing.
@@DJ.Sparks.Studio I've had one of these heaters for a few years now, about £8 on eBay. Electric costs me £0.25 per kh, so the heater costs 12.5p per hour to run. It's ok for only tiny rooms when it's cold outside tho, I ran it all last night in a 10ft x 11ft room, and it hardly made a difference to the temperature. Ultimately, it's a small, cheap unit, running at just 500w, nobody should expect much of it....🙂
This electric heater is .35 Kw which is Useless !!! I use a Butane Gas Camper Stove with Heat adapter on the Ring. It heats the bathroom really fast and is equal to 2.4 kw. And it uses a Butane Gas Cannister. It`s cheap because the cannister lasts for several hours, and they are much cheaper than electricity !!!! Also it`s a very dangerous thing to use plug in electric devices in a bathroom. There is no danger of carbon monoxide poisoning unless you stay in the bathroom for hours !!!! I use a carbon monoxide detector, but it doesn`t go off when I`m in there for 10 minutes having a shower !!!! And it makes a freezing cold bathroom really warm in a couple of minutes !!!! I have four of these heaters and a butane conventional heater with a grill on the front !!!!!! I`m talking about if it`s below freezing outside, so a tiny electric heater would be the same as lighting a candle !!!!! A butane gas heater costs the same to run as a 1kw electric heater, but you get 2.4 kw of heat from it !!!!
I have tamper resistant outlets throughout the house. They seem to be a bit more snug compared to others. I have seen some outlets that have a difficult time keeping things plugged in... not sure why it's designed that way.
I’d say if the bedroom is smaller and insulated then it should work pretty well. Don’t expect it to make a huge difference in a short time. It just slowly raises the temp.
Obviously it’s better to have a bigger heater or a mini split. For small rooms it does help a bit... Even if you just wanted a little warmth near your desk or bed. It’s also dirt cheap.
thanks! finally someone puts a meter on one of these things...
DJ out standing Vid.
Amazing Video Thanks
I’m going to order this for the semi I drive
I hope it helps!
How do I return one that is not working

Nice review bud! What about cost of running?
Thanks! That depends on the cost of electricity in your area. For my location it would be about $0.03 if it was running for an hour.
@@DJ.Sparks.Studio wow that is low, not sure on my local tariff, theirs prob a way to work it out on kwhr/£ but not sure?
@@wildriverguitarlockdownlic110 wow, your electricity is cheap! In the UK it's far more expensive

Will it warmup a bathroom
If the bathroom is small and insulated, I believe it should help warm things up a bit.
@@DJ.Sparks.Studio You should not have a socket outlet in the average size bathroom. (UK)

How did you get it from falling out of the socket

So is it worthwhile to have it by bedside? Or is it just a piece of plastic junk

These heaters are just k. Don't buy them.

People. They are junk. Read the reviews. Anything with that little wattage is little more than a few incandescent bulbs.
