Toasty Heater and Elon Musk: Scam or Legit? My Review.

  • This video is all about the fact that there's a product out there called Toasty Heater and people want to know if the little plug-in space heater is a scam or legit. It's apparently 350 watts or maybe 500 watts. I've heard other wattage amounts, but anyway, here's the point: the reason why people want to know if Toasty Heater is a scam or legit is because it's being advertised online in December 2023. This product is apparently little more than a mass produced, night light-sized heater that doesn't actually say "Toasty Heater" on the product itself. People keep buying up a lot of the products, rebranding them with a new name, and then attempting to sell it for a higher price than for what you'll pay for apparently the same thing on Amazon. I'm not saying Toasty Heater is a scam or legit. I'm telling you it's a cheaper product elsewhere. Also, who makes it? Is it safe? Is it a fire hazard? These are my opinionated questions. I've looked into this product now for 1-2 years. If you want a good heater and you want to spend less, buy a Honeywell from Target. 1,500 watts is good for a bedroom. I hope you found this video helpful. Tap the like button down below and to the right of the like button is a "thanks" button. If you don't see the "thanks" button, tap the three dots off to the right of the like, dislike and share buttons. The "thanks" button is in there. If you are financially well off and want to show thanks to me, please feel free to tap "thanks." Thank you for watching and comment with the word "waffle" if you want me to reply with a waffle emoji.

Saw an advert the other day for this exact heater and they told a story about how a NASA engineer built this to help his elder family members after they lost heating 3 days into a blizzard. Additionally it says it warmed the room from 40 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit in 90 seconds 😂

You won't say it's a scam, but I will. Anyone with a grain of common sense should be able to see within 5 seconds into the Toasty Heater ad that it is a scam. 40 to 80 degrees in less than 2 minutes? Never! It _might_ heat a small dog house that's closed, but you're throwing money in the trash if you buy it! I'm amazed the ad is even allowed to be broadcasted.

A "scam" can often share the same borders with simple "capitalizing on ignorance". Americans in particular have no excuse in the world to believe the lies. It doesn't matter if they are cold and desperate. They've had all the resources all their lives to quite easily learn basic physics.

@@kw1178 I would say it _is_ common sense to capitalize on other's ignorance, for someone with reason to do so. Often this capitalization is performed by those with little to no moral and ethical standard in relation to the area in which they perform. Or they might have such standard, but are willing, happy even, to walk in opposition to it. It shouldn't surprise me but it does, that people buy this heater, but it also surprises me that anyone would go buy thousands of dollars worth of gift cards and read the numbers over the phone to some scammer in India. I think I might be getting overly-detailed & anal about this! _It's a fucking scam!_ There!

I bought this unbranded heater last year at my local hardware store, not in the US but in Europe. The best it can do is to heat a small bathroom 5'x8' before a shower, start it about an hour before. It cannot heat a room, maybe if you ran it for a few days straight. Does it heat up, yes! Does it do what it is advertised for, Hell NO!

I saw an ad, and it said the Predator's family that Arnold Schwarzenegger killed gave TOASTY HEATER as a gift to the county of Austria 🇦🇹 because of Arnold's bravery..
The problem is that the Predator's family confused the former body builder & California Governor with Arnold from HAPPY DAYS and sent TOASTY HEATER to Japan & Okinawa.
The Predator's family member went into a bar out of Kinville in Okinawa and got in a fight with some Marine Corps grunts and some members from 7th Communication Battalion.
Unfortunately, the Marines killed the Predator and ate him alive......and during the fight, Chinese spies stoled TOASTY HEATER......This is why there's so many failed duplicates from China 🇨🇳; they can't crack the alien code.

It has 1500 watts stamped on it, but if you take an amp meter to it and calculate, it will be significantly less than 1500w , maybe 100W less. I do not car all the claims, I just verify the watt draw or get the volt and amps and a quick use of a calculator and I get how much heat are being emitted. With electric rates going sky high, it is expensive to use these heaters or anything that give out heat for long duration.

Yes they are a scam, I have 6 of them over the past four years all from different or NO brand makers ranging in price from $5.00 to $25.00, seems the ones they get returned the first year they sell next year.
The say they are from 350 to 500 watts but only average at best 400 watts and below.
Because of their small size they have a small fan and move very little air which is their downfall, they are at best good for heating your feet under a computer desk, but then again I use an infrared heater under mine which keeps my legs toasty at only 50 watts power!
What would be neat is if they had a larger size with this look that really could heat an area of 100 square feet!
P.S. Your Honeywell heater is actually made by Midea, the biggest appliance maker in the world!

Lumi heater or something similar sounding but does what some if these toaster heater claims! As far as amazon...probably the biggest corporation own clickbait ripoffs there are..yes you maybe able to buy your fav 'brand' but the price differences are ridiculous...best advice, dont be lazy. Do YOUR OWN research! Alot of amazon or some other corporations dont hold or have decent guarantees -ebay has better guarantees when it comes to alot of these as paypal has its own level of service also amazon products maybe sold under different names because its basically 'sellers' using their platform just like i.e ebay.
BEST advice-do your own research! Then you cant blame sone youtuber, brand etc etc except yourself.
