Actually, the "Our Father" Jesus teaches was meant for the Disciples.
You haven’t read the entire New Testament then, and you are oddly not doing what you said you are doing.
Certain verses show Christ having prayers addressed directly to Him.

I always start my prayer off with "Father in Heaven" and end it with "in your Son's Holy name I pray, my Savior Jesus Christ, thank you for dying on the cross to save a sinner like me" and I try to mention the Holy Spirit when praying by asking Him for guidance and direction. I try to include all members of the Godhead. That's just me personally. I love to hear how others pray ❤️.
I start my prayer by saying something like „grace be yours father“ and then I thank him for being able to pray to him (so basically I thank for being healthy so I can pray) and then I end it by thanking God again in Jesus Name. :)
U all have it wrong the Godhead is not 3 persons but ONE being ONE God so is u pray in Jesus name u pray to God if u say our Father u pray to God just the same n if u say Holy Spirit u r talking to God Himself . I was taught to Pray to God the Father, recognizing the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as the mediator. And after talking with God the Father we end the conversation in Jesus name. Amen.

Loved the piece on the Holy Spirt. He's sadly too often forgotten in our prayers and in our walk.
But that's not possible..if you are praying to one you are praying to all three EQUALLY..no prayer is heard less if directed to one we may not think it should be
@@tyroneturner4128 Yes, they are equal just like Allen Parr said, but the Holy Spirt is sadly forgotten for what His role is in our lives. The Holy Spirit is as EQUALLY important and yet is too often cast aside. 😔. It would be like only focusing on God and the Holy Spirit in our prayers and forgetting to reach out to Jesus. This is just a good lesson to remind us believers of the power of the Spirit that was left for us.

What translation and year of the Bible u are using . It cannot be a literal Translation . Some translations are 3rd and 4th generations away from the original language .Each translation strays farther from the original text and becomes watered down and more distant from the truth . It has been proven beyond a shadow of doubts the New Testament was not originally in Greek but in was written in Aramaic ( the everyday spoken language of our Savior Yahshua .)and later translated into Greek . Not to say that all Greek are flawed but The test u replied with is not accurate. No offense .

Prayer is a vital part of worship! Who did Jesus teach us to pray to? His Father in Heavan! ( He showed the example himself while on earth "Who, in the days of his flesh, when he offered up prayers & suplications with strong out cries and tears unto HIM that was able to save him from death and was heard in that he feared" ( Heb 5:7 KJV). Thus he showed the way that "The true worshipers will worship THE FATHER in spirit & truth". ( John 4:23,24) Let us all worship the one true & only Almighty God, the Father! Amen
@@kiwihans100 Referring to passages that show prayer and worship to the Father doesn't negate the passages that show prayer (Acts 7:59) and worship to Jesus (John 9:38 - the same Greek word for worship is used here that was used in John 4:24).

I usually pray to all three... not all the time (sometimes I just ambiguously direct it to "God"), but recently I've naturally become more conscious of being specific. It's a work in progress 😊. I usually start off by entering into God's presence via Jesus's name, then I pray to the Father for broadly everything, my sustenance, His mercy, love, etc. In doing so, I also thank Jesus for the opportunity to even be in the presence of the Trinity in the first place, I appreciate him for His love, sacrifice, and guidance provided to us His bride (and me by extension) via the word, and in our everyday life... And then I pray a more personal-inclined prayer to the Holy Spirit, thanking Him for my journey, His patience, leading, helping, and apologizing for my stubbornness and the times I occasionally grieve Him.
I was taught we are to pray to the Father, in Jesus's name. I feel the Holy Spirit praying along with my spirit, when I pray.

@@Creshex8 I wouldn't say I thoughtlessly recite a formula. What inspired me to start doing this is John 17, but also Matthew chapter 6, and John 14:13, John We see Jesus pray to the Father a number of times. Almost every single time He prays.

The reason why Trinitarians are confused is because the Trinity is not Biblical but occult. Jesus taught christians how to pray in Matthew 6 but Trinitarians do not believe that because of their 3 gods. This man gives the correct verse and than he gives you his opinion instead of reading HOW the Apostles and disciples prayed. It's allover the Bible but Trinitarians do not read.

I came across this video through the Holy Spirit. I think the way you explained who to pray to is spot on. I have only recently understood who the Holy Spirit is and the bond between us is so exciting. I do not think The Father is jealous if we pray to Jesus or Jesus is jealous of the Holy Spirit, etc. God is love. I used to tell my children (I am now 70 years old) when they would ask me a "technical" question like this, "I will give you the answer you the best way I understand--but that is a God question. When you get to heaven, we will understand all the "technical" questions that you had on earth that were not revealed to you when you were here. Until then you must have faith in God. He loves us and knows the number of hairs on our head. Even those who don't have hair, he knows how many were there.
I like how you explain that God's Holy Spirit is the comon bond that connects believers. Kind of like in a crowded area you may see someone and know, that person is safe to approach for direction or may need God's help through me. You may correct me if I misunerstood. Be a blessing.

I think we are prone to preferring to pray to one Person, because it's more personable. Pastor Allen says it right though, you pray to One, you pray to All. God hears us. 🤗

Thank you Allen, for your ministry and how you explain spiritual things. I have been a Christian since 1977 and the journey has been and continues to be a miracle. I don’t think it matters who we pray to because the Trinity is all connected, knows all things and motives of every heart. However, I have only started talking directly to Holy Spirit as an individual, but I find it comforting to know that He loves me and that there is nothing I can tell Him that the Father and Son do not already know about. Our God is Omniscient, Omnipresent, Omnipotent. As long as we talk to Him, it doesn’t matter who we come to first. The Father knows every intent of our hearts. He is so Good!

They're all one. Calling upon one is calling upon all. Sometimes I will call upon the Holy Spirit to guide me, especially when I'm feeling angry or sad. I will ask the Holy Spirit to help me respond to those feelings in the right way at that moment in time. I also pray to the Father, in His name, which is Jesus Christ. Very thought provoking video. @@marjorie5677 Actually, the Father is Jesus! Jesus is the Father manifested in the flesh. That's why Jesus said "I and my Father are one", and "if you have see me, then you have seen the Father!" The so called "Trinity" is not an accurate way at looking at the Godhead, since Jesus is the Father in flesh. My brother-in-law and I were having a conversation about this recently when he said that people pray to the Father and to Jesus but not to the Holy Spirit. I then said, "I do." Although I have been confused about this subject at times, myself, I actually ask the Holy Spirit specifically to bring scripture to my remembrance as needed. I’ve always pictured God being gracious enough through our limited understanding and humanness that if we’re “not praying correctly” He is understanding and can work through that. What we know of our Lord is that if we’re just praying, He can work through everything else. We shall come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and grace in time of need (Heb. 4:16)

When I was little I went to church and learned the very basics of how to pray and how to be a good Christian, but I wasn't actually old enough to be part of the Bible studies, so there are still a lot of things I need to learn. I always pray like this. When I am giving thanks, I thank each of the Three Persons. When I am apologising, I apologise to the three individually based on what they do in my life and what I know they do.
