Hey BEAT family! This is a very important video for two reasons. First, I want you to be well aware of these verses when you hear them being taken out of context and being misused thus leading many Christians astray. I hope you will not be led astray by these verses and certain members in these churches. Second, I want this to be a lesson on CORRECT Biblical interpretation so that you are rightly dividing the word of God. Let me know below if you have any other questions and what your understanding of these verses have been. Also, let me know of some other verses that you are confused about so that I can address those in a future video. Enjoy!

    *I LOVE THIS ANALOGY*
When *GOD* wanted to create fish, *HE* spoke to the sea.
When *GOD* wanted to create trees, *HE* spoke to the earth.
But when *GOD* wanted to create man, *HE* turned to Himself.
Then *GOD* said: "Let us make man in our image and in our likeness".
    Note:
If you take a *fish* out of *the water* it will die; and when you remove a *tree* from *soil*, it will also die.
Likewise, when man is disconnected from *GOD*, he dies.
*GOD* is our natural environment. We were created to live in *His* presence. We have to be connected to *Him* because it is only in *Him* that life exists.
    Let's stay connected to *GOD*.
We recall that *water* without *fish* is still *water* but *fish* without *water* is nothing.
The *soil* without *tree* is still *soil* but *the tree* without *soil* is nothing ...
*GOD* without man is still *GOD* but man without *GOD* is nothing.
    May God Bless You 🙏

The Bible is a book of lessons and if you were to follow this FALSE TEACHER, Allen Parr's teaching, nothing in the Bible is directed at you and I. This man is fake and phony. He is a false teacher. Abraham is our father and what God did to him is what we should expect God to do to us. Galatians 3:7, says, Know that if you are of faith, you are a child of Abraham - If you follow this man, he will lead you to hell, study the Bible for yourself and claim everything in it for you. False teachers start well, but once they have enough following, they lead you down to hell.

@@binoalab I agree with you that believers in Christ are children of Abraham. But when you say, whatever God did to Abraham, he will do to us, it becomes very very problematic:
      1. No scripture says whatever God did to Abraham will be done to us
      2. According to your reasoning, every believer should from day of conversion leave their family and go over to Canaan, be barren, live up to 90 years for the men, 75 years for the women before they have their one and only Biological child. And I can go on to show the impossibilities that refute your claim.
Is there a blessing of Abraham that is ours? Yes, there is. According to Romans 5:1, which is a conclusion of the argument set forth first of all in the last verses of Romans 4, that blessing is JUSTIFICATION, Period! And no one can be more blessed than whoever has been justified because of their faith in Jesus Christ our Lord.
God bless you Bro and God bless us, all members of his Church by faith in Christ as we grow in the knowledge of the faith we proclaim.

When you look at the history of Christianity, it’s been a battle of many theologies for the longest. I don’t believe any man has the perfect interpretation and we all fall susceptible to taking something out of context at any time. Some worse than others, sure, but I hope Jesus has mercy on us all for our shortcomings when it comes to understanding this complicated world we live in.

Theres more error in thinking that you are 100% right on verses like his #5, the binding and loosing verse, then there is a mistake in leaving it open to interpretations such as it possibly being useful in performing deliverance... which, the binding and loosing is very useful in deliverance ministry and it has saved my hide before.
What I am saying is, acting like you know it all is a mistake, especially on verses that are clearly open for interpretations like the one I mentioned above.
No need to start a battle by accusing people of false doctrine over verses like that. It seems more damaging to the church as a whole then edifying.
Call people out for important false doctrines not minor ones that either side might actually be correct on.. not verses where, who knows what the best interpretation with 100% assuredy besides Christ? Dont start drama over stuff like that by accusing people of false doctrine. Which is by all accounts a major claim to make against another believer and can become a down right insult if your heart is in the wrong place and your just trying to win a bible battle for your particular movements position.

Suzanne Brousseau, I don't read any books on Christianity because there is invariably a mistake in them, unless God tells me to read it. I listen to very few ministries as most invariably will come up with false statements and "back" them up with scriptures that don't apply to their statement. The Bible is my reference book, and a Bible Concordance, sometimes. When you know the truth, Jesus Christ, then the Holy Spirit reveals what is truth and what is lie to you. He confirms it in many ways, one of them being, reading comments here, and when they're true, something in me goes " That's It ! ". Same goes for when I'm talking to someone. Be surrendered and submitted to God always and you'll know "all things", as the Bible says.

Baptism of the spirit is just evidence of tongues. Speaking in tongues has two meanings. A angelic prayer and one that requires a interpretation. Angelic prayer is what poured out on Pentecost. I used to think that too because I never spoken in tongues. I used to wonder why I didn’t have the Holy Spirit until my Pentecostal preacher preached over it just being a gift and it’s a wonderful one but it’s only evidence of the Holy Spirit. Just like our fruits. Sorry you had that encounter. After that sermon I quit denying the gift of tongues as a unclean Spirit and then I stopped believing in didn’t have the Holy Spirit. The next couple weeks later I raised my arms and prayed like I never prayed before. I prayed so deep and intimate to God he interceded and filled me with the Holy Spirit with evidence of tongues.

Mr. Allen, these verses are not limited to being misinterpreted by "Pentecostals, Word of Faith, and Charismatics". I have kept company with Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterians, Lutherans, Catholics, and a host of other Believers who have used these verses "out of context". Indeed, zeal is not always balanced with knowledge. But this holds true for many denominations and Believers. It appears that misinterpretations of these scriptures, or any other verses, stem from misguided teachings and sometimes innocently applied reasonings. The perception applied is as if "Pentecostals, Word of Faith, and Charismatics" are of a cultish origin. That is not necessarily the case. In your "calling out" individuals and denominations, it is now coming across as being judgmental and somewhat pious. Your understanding and personal interpretation of the Word is phenomenal, but I am sure that you have had your own pruning and weeding out period in your spiritual growth and development. Stereotyping is never acceptable in our society nor our Church, as you are grouping all "Pentecostals, Word of Faith, and Charismatics" under one roof. That, in itself, is applying spiritual stereotyping and judgement.

The church I go to is doesn't ever use these verses out of context nor does the college. I think it can describe word of faith movement/prosperity preaching but it shouldn't sum up all pentacostals/charismatics. As a new believer in the late 70's, I just assumed those teachers were smarter than I was---when I couldn't figure out how they got that meaning from reading the same passage I was.

I was raised in the Pentecostal Church, and I disagree with the statements made here. I've never in my 30 yrs of life, heard any Pastor or preacher push the idea of "speaking things into existence" or being physically healed based on that specific verse. I've always understood it as being a spiritual healing. Also, I can't say they push monetary wealth, if anything I've experienced the complete opposite. Pentecostals put an emphasis on the power of The Holy Spirit, and Biblical Doctrine. On not conforming to the ways of the world, seperation, and serious Sanctification through the power of The Holy Spirit. GOD gave the 10 Comandantes to Israel, and that applies to us also as Gentiles. So, there are many things given and told to Israel that can also apply to us gentiles. Many times, it's GOD'S Character on display, His intentions to do us good, and work all things out for our well being.
As far as speaking in tongues, Scripture says that's a manifestation of The Holy Spirit, a Spiritual Gift. 1 Corinth. 12:31 tells us to "earnestly desire higher gifts." Walking in the Spirit is evidence that Christ lives in us. That's how we test, and analyze ourselves to see if Christ truly dwells in us. God Bless 🙏🙏

@@lukericker8325 Paul also says that he'd rather speak 5 intelligible words that edify the brethren than 10,000 in a tongue that no one understands (1 Corinthians 14:18-19). He also asked rhetorically, "Do all speak in tongues?" The implication being, NO, ALL DO NOT SPEAK IN TONGUES. Plus he said earnestly desire the spiritual gifts ESPECIALLY THAT YOU MAY PROPHECY (1Corinthians 14:1). This is all centered in one overarching command: LOVING ONE ANOTHER.
JESUS SAID, "BY THIS ALL MEN WILL KNOW THAT YOU ARE TRULY MY DISCIPLES IF YOU HAVE LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER (John 13:34-35)." The gifts of the Spirit are not given to prove that l'm saved nor for my SELF-indulgence. They are for glorifying God and building up the Church of which Christ is the head (Colossians 1:18, Ephesians 4:14-16, Ephesians 1:22-23, 1 Corinthians 12:7, 1 Corinthians 14:1).
To me one of the most devastating passages in God's word is 1 Corinthians 13:1-3. It shows that A PERSON CAN BE EXTRAORDINARILY GIFTED BUT MISS THE MARK BECAUSE THEY DO NOT BEAR THE FRUIT OF LOVE (Matthew 7:15-23). The fruit of the Spirit is different than the gifts of the Spirit. God gives us spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 4:7, James 1:16-17). THAT'S HIS CHOICE, HIS GENEROSITY. BUT LOVING OTHERS IS OUR CHOICE. God will not force me to love other people. Loving others is volitional especially when dealing with those who've done me harm. God and Jesus have chosen to love me DESPITE ME. Because THEY ARE LOVE (1John 4:8, 16).
The first promise in the New Testament is Matthew 1:21. "And she will bear a Son; and you shall call his name Jesus, FOR IT IS HE WHO WILL SAVE HIS PEOPLE FROM THEIR SINS." Of what value is it if l'm loaded with spiritual gifts while also being filled with pride? Or if l am immoral in mind or actions? Or if my heart is trained in greed? Or if l hold anger in my heart against my brother, which Jesus equated with murder? I could go on.
The Corinthians were far more legitimately gifted than probably any church in the world today. But they treated the Lord's Supper like a picnic, were taking each other to court, had immorality going on that even pagans would frown upon, and the rich were disdainful of the poor.
Being blessed with spiritual gifts does not always translate into a person exhibiting holy and upright moral character. God requires that we be holy for he is holy, holy, holy (Leviticus 11:44-45, Isaiah 6:3, Revelation 4:8).

It’s all dependent on Gods sovereign will. It’s not great faith jn God, it’s faith in a great God. We need to rely completely on a God not on our “amount” of faith. Allen claimed that this is only for spiritual healing. May I suggest that this includes physical healing too. Allen mentioned that one has to read the context to understand the biblical meaning. Well and good. If you look into verse 4 of Isaiah 53, it is talking about physical illness. Matthew 8:17 confirms this:
“This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases.””
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭8:17‬ ‭NIV‬‬
Clearly, the early Christians interpreted that both physical and spiritual healings were part of the work of the cross by our Lord. I hope we do read our bible in ‘greater context’ and understand that it is the will of God for us to be healed and truly by His stripes, we can be healed (spiritually and physically).

@Josh Gellock Recieving the Holy Spirit and the baptism of the Holy Spirit are one and the same event. Not once in the book of Acts do we read of believers recieving the Holy Spirit at one point and then being baptized in the Holy Spirit at another time.
We do not recieve the Holy Spirit the moment we believe the gospel and accept Jesus as our savior.
Being saved is being born again and just as physical birth is the end result of a process so is spiritual rebirth. We recieve the Holy Spirit as the result of believing " into" Christ not just believing in Him, that shows that there is a process involved. Acts 2:38 is that process.
In Acts ch.19 when Paul met the disciples he asked them, " Have you recieved the Holy Spirit since you believed"? For him to even ask them that is to prove that one doesn't recieve the Holy Spirit the minute that they believe.
When they told Paul that they hadn't even heard that there was a Holy Spirit, Paul asked them, " How then were you baptized"?
They said," by Johns' baptism". Paul then told them ," verily John baptized in a baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, to believe on the one to come after him, Jesus Christ"( Acts 19:4).
It then says, " When they heard this they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus,And when Paul layed hands on them and the Holy Spirit came upon them and they spoke in tongues and prophesied"( Acts 19: 5,6 )
You see that the disciples believed by what they did and that was to complete their repentance by being water baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.
They then recieved the Holy Spirit by being baptized in the Holy Spirit confirmed by their speaking in tongues and prophesying.

@Josh Gellock When Jesus breathed on His apostles and said, " Recieve ye the Holy Spirit" they didn't recieve the Holy Spirit at that time because the Holy Spirit would not be poured out until Acts 2 At Pentecost.
Remember, in Acts 2 just before the apostles, and the other believers gathered there, there was a rushing mighty wind. The natural reaction whether it be breath blowing in your face or wind is to breath in.
The believers breathed in the Holy Spirit. Remember in John ch.3 when the Lord drew a comparison to Nicodemus between birth of the flesh and birth of the Spirit.
When a physical baby is removed from the mother the doctor would smack them on the butt and they would breath in and cry alerting all within hearing that a baby had been born.
Spiritually a believer leaves the baptismal water and in the process of calling out to the Lord for the Holy Spirit breathes in the Spirit and speaks in " tongues" alerting all within hearing range that a spiritual babe in Christ had been born.

Dear brother, I’m Italian and I attend a Pentecostal church and first of all:
We do not believe that we can speak things into existence, that’s just a big lie
Second we do not believe that when you get saved you always get healed physically, it can happen but it’s not related to salvation
Third we do not believe that every Christian is rich or should be rich, our pastor even condemns the prosperity gospel..another mistake
Fourth we *do not* believe that if you don’t speak in tongues you don’t have the Holy Spirit, we believe that the Holy Spirit takes residence within you since the moment you accept Christ, the gift of tongues (which is a real manifestation of God that anybody can experience) is considered like a “more empowering” experience to help you speak out the word of God with boldness..(this concept of boldness btw is repeated multiple times in Acts after the Pentecostal experience of the apostles)
Fifth I can tell you that I’ve seen many times pastors laying their hands on people and those people were speaking in tongues, this is not an isolated event happened 2000 years ago, it is still real! *This does not mean btw that very Christian must experience this*
Sixth: I’ve been in so many Pentecostal churches and never saw someone casting demons out of somebody else...you may have seen these things with someone like Benny Hinn and other similar “pastors” who guide their service in a way more close to devil spirits, rather than the Spirit of God.
Having said this I’m not surprised if in America these things are common, you guys are very revolutionary with pretty much everything..but don’t make confusion not all Christian Pentecostal do and believe such things

Matteo I think the objection we have (I can only speak for myself here) is what exactly is this 'tongue' that the pentecostals speak? Speaking in tongues simply means speaking 'in other languages'. ie French, German. I do not believe that on the day of Pentecost any other languages were spoken than those which existed on earth at that time. If the language you claim to speak is not known by someone on earth right now I am deeply skeptical. Pentecost had a purpose - it was to spread the word to the four corners of the world. I think part of the problem for the pentecostal movement is Jimmy Swaggart. A man who uses tongues like some sort of evidence. He claims it is a language spoken in heaven. His grandson claims it is a future language of man not yet spoken on earth. Very shady and suspicious conduct by these two men.

@@thesolaraquarium Amen! Speaking in tongues is not babbling gibberish. Babbling is easy to imitate and people can give false interpretations(translations). “Heavenly language” or “tongues of angels”is a figure of speech, not literal. Paul is emphasizing that it’s a spiritual gift from God. When we start to look at scripture as literature and properly exegete the text (without adding our own opinions or ideas) it is easier to understand . . @@Noah-rv9uj I was given the 'gift of tongues' a few decades ago. I was struggling to read a religious book in French, the work of a Saint. I would have to check my french-english dictionary every sentence at least once. It seems that God wanted me to read this book. A few days later I was able to read the book without a dictionary and understand 95% of what was there. To this day I don't use a dictionary - don't even have one in my library anymore. I am able to read French unassisted. I am able to work out the missing 5% from the 95% I understand. It is a gift from God. I have no doubt about that. I always had a working knowledge of French (it is my second language). But until that time I was never able to read it without a dictionary as a helper. Since that time I can. Until now I have never told anyone about this. Only God and I know this. It's personal, as I expect all gifts of God are. When people start declaring in public that they have a gift from God I get skeptical. I only share this to explain that some of us have been given this gift of tongues. I am not alone in this, I am sure.

Even in the case of lifeless things that make sounds, such as the pipe or harp, how will anyone know what tune is being played unless there is a distinction in the notes? Again, if the trumpet does not sound a clear call, who will get ready for battle? So it is with you. Unless you speak intelligible words with your tongue, how will anyone know what you are saying? You will just be speaking into the air. Undoubtedly there are all sorts of languages in the world, yet none of them is without meaning. If then I do not grasp the meaning of what someone is saying, I am a foreigner to the speaker, and the speaker is a foreigner to me. So it is with you. If you think well I thought the Son was the best member of the trinity because just how good He is, then you can think, well they’re equal so how good must the Father be! Or vis-versa. In fact, in Hebrews 1:13, God is quoted as saying, “The Lord says to my Lord, sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies Your footstool.” Who do you think which Lord the Lord is speaking to?
Since you are in John, chapter 20, when Thomas placed his hands into the wounds of Jesus, he stated in verse 28, “My Lord and my God.” Don’t you think Jesus would have corrected him if that statement wasn’t true?
You are mishandling the Word of God with Matthew 15:9. Jesus is quoting Isaiah 29:13:

But their heart is far from Me,
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.

The Jews wanted to kill Jesus because the “I AM” referred back to Exodus 3:14 where Moses asked God what His name was - “I AM WHO I AM” was the answer. Surely you can see where Jesus is saying He is God.

John 16:33 pretty much tells us that life will be hard and tough, which is why we need Jesus to be with us. The idea that we have God’s power is absurd. If we get healed, it’s His power, not ours.

My opinion of the verses as a Pentecostal
    1. Abram was called father of many nations by other people becauae God decreed it to be so, even before it happened. So all the people calling abram "abraham" did so because God said it. Thats the context of its use today. If God said its true, speak it. Having HIS words on our mouth daily, thats what it is.
    2. We are healed. Be it so according to your faith. The spiritual healing means that the physical is healed as well. We are spirits first, then fleshy. But even if its only spiritual, believing God for anything is never wrong
    3. You are right, but nothing is wrong with using this verse or any verse in prayer. Ask and you shall receive. I get your point here tho. Know that the new covenant has better promises for us. So if its promised in the old, its available now too.
    4. Speaking of tongues is evidence of being baptized in the holy spirit. Not having the holy spirit. The spirit was with many before christ and its obvious. Every true believer has the holy spirit, but the baptism is needed still.
    5. We can cast out demons. Terminology doesnt matter, they must leave in jesus name. Literally nothing wrong with saying "i bind you in jesus name". Its effective for deliverance.
Have your own convictions and take everything taught with prayer to God and study of other scriptures. God bless!

I am also assigned to teach/preach sometimes and I’m a woman, but no I am not yet a pastor though our church allows women as Senior pastors. We even have a branch church which is led by two unmarried women. We believe the full gospel but these other things like in the video, we are also doing it. Now I’m starting to understand what the bible really is saying, what God really wants and designed for His church and your video is a big help. Though I don’t think I can make a difference in our church now, coz it’s already big. I’m planning to move to a more bible based church where I can grow in the truth. I hope anyone reading this can help me pray for God to lead me to the right church. And I also pray that christians like me who were being led in a different direction will also be awaken and see the truth.

Its noth about how much you make, its about how much you keep. Its not about how people see you, its how you promote yourselfs versus others. The bible doesnt say its hard for a rich man to get into heavan for no reason. Its not impossible, just hard. They have to walk in humility and beable to resist pride and greed for more. Satan is willing to give you everything you want in exchange for your attention away from God, or basically your soul. People think selling your soul is just for music industry or fame. @@binoalab My brother in Christ, after reading your comment it seems quite close to bearing false witness. I sincerely pray that that was not your intention. You have every right to disagree with his interpretations, but you should do so in kindness and in love. With that said, the word of God does say in Proverbs 4:7 "In all thy getting, get understanding". We are also commanded in (2 Timothy 2:15) to study his word and rightly divide his truth. So context is absolutely essential. No message can mean something different today than what it was originally intended by the author and how that message would have been understood by the audience at that time. Yes, we can apply the eternal principles of God's word to our present circumstances (see 2 Timothy 3:16). But the verses mentioned in the video were speaking to a very specific audience. For example, consider today's cultural environment, I can speak to a friend and say.. "That's my dog..my buddy". Everyone today would understand that I was using a term of endearment. However, 100 years from now the slang "dog" may no longer be in use. But it would be incorrect for that future audience to assume that I was calling my friend a 4 legged animal. As for your assertion that since we are children of Abraham, we can expect God to do the same for us...Please support that conclusion from the text itself rather than your personally added meaning. Otherwise, that is eisegesis.

I agree with most of these. What I disagree with is the authority that is in the words you speak. We are carriers of the Holy Spirit and the spirit can work on our behalf. Mark 11:23 says, "For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, “Be removed and be cast into the sea,” and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says". Proverbs 18:21 says, "The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit". The Holy Spirit also operates through the power of the tongue when casting out demons. Obviously we can't speak something into existence but it seems to me there is power in the tongue to have physical affects.

When GOD speaks, it is done. So it must be GOD that speaks through a Man, then it is done. It is not positive speech, or confessing our godly desires before GOD. Hence, Mk.11:23 was that which Paul claimed to mean 'CHRIST speaking in him'. 2Cor.13:3-5 Whatsoever things CHRIST speaks forth, these will come to pass. However, do not confuse it with 'the words of Faith'. Mk.11:22-24 'Say it and have it'
We were discussing on 'the words of Faith'.
What I was trying to convey was that 'the words of Faith' cannot be plucked from the thin air. These words of Faith must come directly from GOD to our spirit. Then we say it and have it.

I use to believe this to. However I’ve recently came to learn the truth! There is power in the tongue meaning the way you talk to others could hurt or lift someone up. But to Name it and Claim is such a false idea of what the scriptures meant! Not only that It’s replacing God to say if you put it out there then God will respond. You could pray silently in your mind or any way of communication with God & guess what if it aligns with his will or is he please to he will give you it or Not.
This is so hurtful to the churches because it make people who are ill or sick that’s there something wrong with them or they don’t have enough faith because they are being healed even though they are using all the authority of words.
Also a lot of pagan religions & new age practice that so I’d be careful of that one..

      @ivankiryewala814 Před 3 lety +1

Sorry sister, everyone has been through that. But the word of God is living. When it comes to your spirit, it carries some form of power. I also got so many bad results until the understanding came to me one day, the bible says, you have been given a measure of faith. Given not you should have, you have been given. Am telling, the faith I had when God healed my GERD, food intolerances and ulcers ,I knew this wasn't me because the word of God is living. It is that powerful , I saw my self being continuously motivated to believe that I was healed even when I had symptoms and pain but I never changed my confession until the manifestation came eventually.. Now I am very healthy, did some tests and the doctor was like wow, and yet just a few months ago I hated my life and all medications just couldn't help much. Remember, faith is the substance of the things hoped for, the evidence of the things not seen. You want to get something but you cannot see the evidence, again it's not by our might or strength. That's why we need his strength, that's why the Bible says his strength shines in our weakness. Remember this verse, *Christ is the author and finisher of our faith*. When you come to that revelation, you will realize that it's nothing about you but everything about him... God bless you sis, ask for understanding, don't ask for anything now but ask understanding and he will help you understand.... that's what we all need, not us to interpret things our way, the spirit is there for a reason that's why Christ had to ascend so that we might receive the helper the one who will teach us all things....I WONT SAY MORE BUT TALK TO THE SPIRIT , YOU WILL BE AMAZED HOW HE WILL RESPOND TO YOU

    Wow! Just, WOW!
I seen physical healings when believers COMMANDED backs to be straightened, legs to extend, etc. It is now impossible for me to believe their words did not carry authority.
Have also been through deliverance and watched others get delivered. Heard the masculine voice of a demon speak through a woman, then watched a female deliverance minister tell the demon to set down and shut up, in the name of Jesus. Guess what! The person that had that demon immediately went to the ground and cowered in fear. But more importantly, the demon in that woman OBEYED, feared and caused the woman to cower. Many, many more examples could I give.
The basic takeaway heard from the teaching in this video is: you are a powerless weakling of a christian. You are only allowed to love and that's as far as it goes. Exercise any power and authority that you THINK God MAY have given you and you are crossing a line that you have no right to cross. So, go sit in the corner, zip your lip and don't even think about fighting against the kingdom of darkness because you are forbidden. Only God Has that right.
You know, that's EXACTLY what satan would want a True Follower of Christ to believe.
What happened to Luke 10:19 where we have been given all power over the enemy?
What happened to "ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you. Acts 1:8.
Last time I checked 1 Corinthians 4:20, the kingdom of God comes not in word, but in power.
This video attempts to dismantle that power from every angle.
As a child of God, the Word of God tells you who you are, what rights you have and that you are AUTHORIZED by God to EXERCISE those rights.
Right off the bat, the devil will start discrediting your identity.
It is up to each of you individually to decide on who is correct - God or satan?
I, for one, choose not to run around in a pink tutu, wielding a foam sword, calling myself a soldier for Christ. The battle has gotten too intense for that, folks.
    Don't be deceived!

@Floppy Nation Hope I'm not just preaching to the choir here...
If we just remained silent, we would be defenseless and satan knows this. We are NOT to give opportunity to the devil (Ephesians 4:27)
The heavens and earth were spoken into existense and held together by the Words that God spoke. Psalm 33:6-9. We are made in the image and likeness of God. Gen 1:26-27.
Our words have power LIKE God, but NOT EQUAL to God in strength.
Jesus said we can move mountains and bring things to pass (that we SAY), if we will believe and continue to speak them. Mark 11:22-24.
Jesus says if any two will touch and agree on anything they ASK (speak), it shall be done for us by the Father. Mathew 18:18, but it has to be in line with His Character/Word, because the Father doesn't do things that are against His Word.
The above then begs the question, If we touch and agree (speak) on what God has already said in His Word, doesn't that make two of us (us and God)?
Ask and it shall be given. How do we request God to give us (fill us with) His Holy Spirit? We ask. Luke 11:9-13. Our tongue has Power of life and death. Proverbs 18:21.
Jesus was revealed to destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8. And when He returns, He will strike down the nations with a Sword from his mouth (His Words) Rev 19:15.
We can receive that same power to team up with Jesus (although He is more than capable by Himself) to beat back and destroy the kingdom of darkness Acts 1:8
Ask God to give you His Spirit. After He does, you will know it and you will have received power. This power allows us to overcome ALL of the power of the enemy. Luke 10:19.
We read God's Word and repeat (speak) what His Word says about us (I'm more than a conqueror through Christ, God has given me All power over the enemy). We repeat (speak) what He has said about the kingdom of darkness (he and his kingdom are already defeated Colossians 2:15, Rev 12:9). God will point you to more scriptures He wants you to speak, if you'll ask.
God put His Words in Jeremiah's mouth in Jeremiah 1:9. There should be no reason why a soldier for Christ can't pray out loud, "God, fill my mouth with Your Words that You want me to speak to your sons and daughters. God, fill my mouth with Your Words that You want me to speak against every agent of darkness."
Does the devil believe in the power of words? You'd better believe that he does.
He is always trying snatch the Words of the kingdom of God from those that don't immediately understand them (Mathew 13:19.) Why? Because if he left those words these individuals alone with those words long enough, they just might perceive what those words mean, pick them up and apply them against his kingdom, like a Sword.
That would bring satan some real pain, destruction and defeat. But understand, He's not going to take that idly, setting down in a corner and keeping his mouth shut. He will fight back, so we always have to cling to God while we are doing this.
We are in a fight between the Kingdom of Light and kingdom of darkness. WE ARE THE THING THAT IS BEING FOUGHT FOR.
It's time to team up with God and reclaim the territory that the devil stole. We can do this by reinforcing (speaking forth) His Word.
Don't let another person's voice tell you that you don't have this right. That is the voice of an enemy.
Know the Voice of the Lord and follow Him. John 10:27.
The above is akin to Jesus giving us the keys to a steamroller to roll over Satan's kingdom. But the question is, will we place the keys in the ignition, put the vehicle in gear and drive forward? Or will we bury those keys (His Words) in the ground and walk away? 🔑 🔑 🔑

Well, I just spent 5 minutes I can’t get back, responding to this ridiculous video teaching, only to find your response and realize I could have just deferred to what you shared. Well said - clearly you are guided into all truths by the same power who resurrected Christ from death. It’s as though guys like this believe Jesus came to this earth, not to demonstrate how we are to live, the power and authority we have, but simply to tease us and keep us from these same miracles. And, when pastors say “Yes God heals, but not everyone” that’s essentially saying His word is a lie, where it says “He is no respecter of persons”. It is truly baffling how people choose to read the word with their own intellect and understanding (as the word clearly says not to do), instead of allowing Holy Spirit to open their eyes and hearts to receive. Sadly, it’s robbing people of a blessed life, keeping them from learning the truth just as Satan intended, and is as destructive as the “Grace doctrine” that teaches people they are saved no matter what they do or how they live.
