- Resident Evil is nothing without it’s monsters, and it’s monsters are nothing without the T-Virus. So I thought we should put the virus under the microscope and learn all the things about it that may have slipped past the fandom. From pregnant sharks to scientist drama, here are 50 facts about the T-Virus.

Thank you Kai for the opportunity to collab with you! Hope everyone enjoys the video.
Great video guys!
Agreed
I suggest a video where u and other resident evil based CZcamsrs talk about the T virus and other viruses, it be fun lol
I-is that another RE themed channel?! Aaaaaaaah help me Nemesis I’m mooooootating!!!!
We love you guys
An interesting fact about Jill's immunity from a file in RE5: Jill's vaccine didn't destroy the T-Virus in her body, it put it into a dormant state for 8 years, this gave her body enough time to develop an immune system that can instantly destroy it. After the battle with Wesker at the Spencer estate, she was taken and put into stasis for research, that's when she was discovered to have the dormant virus which then reactivated but disappeared almost immediately thanks to her T-Virus antibodies.
I also wonder about the T-abyss virus she inoculated herself with. Since Revelations takes place before RE5, I wonder what became of that. Also it’s crazy we haven’t seen Jill since RE5 (not counting RE 3 remake)
To think that the fact Resident Evil T-Virus adheres to real world Biology and Virology rules is astounding
It's really a miracle we haven't fucked ourselves as a species by making a real world T-Virus as of yet, ain't it???
Totally, kinda makes it more scary.
except for tyrant regenerating and growing limbs and all. that by no means is realistic
More or less. An infection leading to outright DNA mutations that cause immediate changes is really from left field. Even radiation damage to cells takes longer than some RE mutations to manifest.
Kinda wonder if some of the team behind the various tellings of different parts of the RE story didn't do at least some light reading behind the subject?
I love how Outbreak is so important to the lore
Same!!!! We at least need cameos from the characters in the new games.
@@StollenBunz A Remake Of outbreak would have been a much more better choice instead of whatever the hell Resistance and REverse was
I still laugh at the "We can contain them so spread is limited" part of the interview with the Virologist
My sister is a scientist that works with viruses. I asked her if she would tell me if she/her people were working on a zombie virus.
She told me she doesn’t have the funding to do that 😭😭😭
Hopefully your sister does not try to cure cancer with a virus lol
That's horrifying...Scientists are crazy, man...lmfao
I actually think that Jill dose have a resistance at least because in the remake one of her files mentions her being bitten but not changing so it’s likely that when Nemesis infected her it was a stronger strain possibly connected to the parasite.
Jill was immune to normal forms but the Nemisis’s have a alternate strain used to infect those normally immune
Incase you needed more reasons to have trouble sleeping at night, that means now that Resident Evil and the Last of Us are both *world ending catastrophes that are disturbingly possible in real life, more so the latter because the Cordyceps *fungal spore already exists and works on insects and is very possible to mutate to affecting mammals someday .
@Jesse Forsblade okay that is a good point, still their two really big world ending type things from video games that are uncomfortably something that could happen, thats worth taking notice ^^;
Aim for the head
The cordyceps fungi is more likely to happen in real life than the T virus, cause it already exists but the T virus is a viral strain that allows mutations in living things, something that’s far too impossible
Goddamn, I would have never guessed that a fictional Virus could have so much trivia behind it but, it was nice to see some more sweet sweet Outbreak love. Would be cool to see other videos on other viruses like G-Virus, Las Plagas, Uroboros etc but, I wonder if there would be enough for a good vid.
I agree. Something like show a virus and all the monsters created by it, then the next virus or organism, all the way down the list to the Megamycete. Though I think I'm asking for WAY too much all at once.
Only the G-Virus and maaaaaybe the T-Veronica virus are interesting enough for full videos IMO, simply because they have more lore behind them and are the most fleshed out. The G-Virus is also linked to Lisa Trevor and the development of the Nemesis parasite, so it has the most things to talk about.
honestly Outbreak answered your part 11. Everyone's DNA handles the virus differently. I'm pretty sure there is other bits in the games other than Outbreak that confirm it as well. For example Chris & Barry seem nearly immune to the virus while Jill & Rebecca needed treatment after heavy infection. lol you even kinda answered yourself with part 6
Its kinda ironic to learn about T Virus in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic 😄
The real C-Virus.
Plandemic
@@dansmith1661
You know it.
Resident evil 3 remake came out in 2020, the hype of the Covid 19 virus happening
I dont think you know what ironic means
V.A.C.T. a mutation only some zombies experience, including every single zombie in the Spencer mansion, and never any other zombie ever anywhere.
@UCbQ5RVv2-07MTeAlYiiWLMg You know by actually playing all the Resident Evil games. The only resident evil game that Crimson heads appear in is the remake of Resident Evil 1
@UCbQ5RVv2-07MTeAlYiiWLMg where do you find that file I want to read it yeah being born before 1992 that's where you find it
@@brucesmith8401 I deleted that comment because I replied to the wrong person.
I personally believe with the whole time it takes for the virus to take over thing, that not only would it come down to differences in the strain, but also the individual. Weight, height, age, sex, physical and mental fitness would all play a huge part in how long it'd take to effect.
Wow, I never knew it was Marcus who offed Ashford, I always thought Spencer was behind it...since he has such a penchant for CBD(Chronic Backstabbing Disorder)
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Albert Wesker's "Prototype virus" in fact a modified T-virus?
Edit: I also want to thank Kai for illuminating more people to Outbreak. I'd say it's criminally underrated.
According to Caliban Cove the incubation and Zombification period of the T-virus strain in the Spencer Mansion can be up to a week, with first symptoms within a couple of days. As far as the Modified strain in Caliban cove from a little over an hour and a perfected strain at 10 minutes. Apparently the books are canon but in their specific universe? But it's still the T-virus so I guess that can serve as the time period?
These are all great facts on the T-Virus and it's many variants, thank you both Andy and Kai for making an awesome video ✌️
11:50 with viruses it's always a wild ride. Insects have quite a bit of "zombifying" viruses and parasites, there are also human parasites that can change our behavior quite easily...
As a longtime subscriber, I always love your 50-fact series. Of all the bioweapons made with the T virus, hunters are always my favorite, since they can behead our protagonist with a single strike. Keep it up, you deserve far more subscribers.😁😁😁
THANK YOU T-VIRUS FOR GIVING US THE AMAZING MONTERS WE ALL LOVE AND REMEMBER TODAY... WE ALL MISS YOU
Great video as always Kai. I'm glad andy was also part of the video. You guys should do 50 facts about the G Virus.
I fear for the world if something similar to the T virus was released, so much panic and chaos will ensue, it’s very scary, good thing the RE universe is only a game
And if the recent pandemic is anything to go on everyone will ignore the government recommended guidelines and run head first into the zombie horde
The dogs you encounter in the RPD aren’t actually Cerberus. They are classified as zombie dogs, due to secondary infection of the T-Virus and coincidentally Police Chief, Brian Irons decided to make the Doberman Pinscher the specific breed of the RPD’s K-9 unit. Ironically this is also the same dog breed that the Arklay lab scientists decided to go with for the Cerberus project. 🤷🏻♂️
When Covid first happened the T-Virus was one of the first things that went through my mind
LOVE YOUR WORK INK RIBBON AND KAI..... AMAZING WORK GUYS
Always love when you put a video out kai! Good as always
It’s always cool when you and Andy team up. And man I didn’t know a lot of this.
25/50 facts about James Marcus
25/50 facts on Umbrella Corporation
Really enjoyed this. Would you ever consider a video on all types of Tyrants, like the IVAN models, or T-ALOS?
This is a great channel dude, I like that you're so chill. I'm 100% sure you're channel is just going to grow and grow. Keep up the good work 👏 an thanks for making these videos for us
Great video, Kai, I was just checking your channel for something to see and my notification rang telling me about your new video, I love it
Always love those lists. Well done
Another awesome video. Always looking forward to these.
great video but there is one little thing you forgot: spencer was inspired by the work of miranda - the main villain of resident evil (8) village
Love these vids, keep up the good work!
great content and glad to see Bio Declassified around here 😊 gj 👍🏻
Solid video, bro! I literally learned like 95% of new stuff about RE.
Oh nice. Will check this out tonight!
Thanks for the video!
Love these vids so much 💕
Re outbreak has one of the best intros to date! That music always gives me chills. I hate playstation wont release old ps1 and 2 games!!!
So THAT'S why I could never play zombified in Outbreak. I've actually never played it online before. I didn't know you had to be online.
Keep em coming Kai!
Your facts series are great!
Good one, nice job and nice collab
Awesome video Kai and Andy!
Great video as always
The idea of the Progenitor virus being in a plant reminds me of the novel Relic.
I always enjoy watching your videos
I'm willing to deal with the wide variation of infection times as differences in individual's physical health, both overall and how tired or stressed they have been in the last 24 hours, the variety of viruses they've already built an immunity to, and also their genetic strengths and weaknesses. Maybe an iron deficiency means you've only got 30 minutes? It's easy enough to come up with something. It's flexible as long as it isn't instant or months later.
Ive been following bio's facebook page for a while, didnt know he had a youtube channel too! Nice collab!
I dramatically tossed that like button! Good work to you both!
Thought crimson heads got their name from the bloodbath created by the first one, before they locked him in a casket in the graveyard along with a piece needed to unlock the door between the mansion and the residence.
Gotta love classic RE 😄❤
50 facts of T-virus beautifully said and edited heart and passion kai and always positive
Getting ready for work, this is perfect!
Love the video. Learned a bunch of new things.
Alot of information 😵💫😵💫😵💫 thanks you 😀
I forgot how scary this virus is…
You forgor 💀
That outro had me rolling
💯🤣💯🤣💯🤣💯🤣💯🤣💯🤣💯
Great content
Great List! Thank you. Thank you. 😎
Great video. I've beem playing RE 26 years and I learn more from you and PNScore than I do from the games themselves 😂
Im shocked no mention was made about the Executor virus since that thing was crazy OP and not alot of fans know about RE: 4D Executor
It's better that way
I think executor is not canon to serries
@@ghostofwar5430 neither is Dead Aim but that got a mention
5:18 The Licker's also the next mutation after a Crimson Head.
I took a group of students on a virology course as one of the chaperones when I worked at a university (I didn't teach virology, or even medicine, but they needed lecturers from any school to volunteer just to keep tabs on the students, so I went for it). We went to a medical lab in London and were shown around the areas that were safe for visitors to be in and told about how they store virus samples as part of the tour. They do not screw around lol they don't show visitors live samples of the viruses, let alone let them handle them XD The closest we were allowed to get was being shown the entrance to the decontamination area you'd need to go through to even get into the wing of the building where they kept things like that. Even if you were an employee, there is no way you could just stroll in there, steal a sample of a virus and let it loose like in the movies, and even if you somehow did, the lockdown procedures are tight as hell. If there was even a *suspicion* that a virus sample had been removed from containment without strict authorization, the whole place would be locked down in seconds. That's even discounting the fact that none of the viruses they have samples of do much more than just kill the person infected slowly XD
I love RE, but my attention span is like 15 minutes max. I love You just for that reason... and maybe Your voice and looks! I know You're having a guest for this one, but I'm always coming back for more of You!💙
'The Tyrant has near human intellect and incredible muscle mass.' (player kites tyrant and knifes him to death)
Another outstanding video thanks dude my favourite favourite virus would have to be The G Virus!😈
The worst is the Covid-19 virus.
@@David-ve5iq It's a pretty horrible virus but the G I think is worse imagine losing control of your body while still aware and being a prisoner in your own body as you start to mutate absolutely terrifying!😳
T-Abyss all the way
@@mikemidwood9661 😈🐟🐙👍
Crimson heads are lickers in transformation from zombie to licker.
Great Video!
11:55 "we are not prepared for a virus" damn he was right
This video was.... Sick. B) hahaha Nice job guys! ^_^
Good to learn more about outbreak
11:32 I rewinded to here to make sure the article wasn't dated April 1st, and sure enough, it isn't 😂
Looking at the Keeper's Diary, it was about a week from the time he was notified of the accident till Itchy Tasty..
wicked awesome info :P
I love these videos, I hope that one day we'll get the opportunity to watch some material about NEW Silent Hill content...
Now this is a beautiful team up!
that was super fun to watch 🙃
Just got home from the graduation event, and a new video from ink ribbon just popped on my youtube recommendation, perfect
Love your videos Kai . Keep up the good work !!!
Very satisfying to watch
6:50 Correction: It's Carter, who worked with Linda to make the cure for the virus.
Pretty nice. Just one thing, instead of Andy doing one half and you doing the other half, I would've switched back and forth.
Great video👍
Fact number 3 was one big BRUH moment
50 FACTS about the umbrella Corporation. Number 1, their business is life itself
Two awesome RE fans creating an awesome RE video! 👍 But hey just a minor correction, I believe James Marcus was assassinated by Spencer in 1988, not 78.
Always learns sm from the vids mate, you’re amazing
Very educational!
pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease Capcom rerelease Outbreak with the online co-op.... Raccoon City and the T-virus is literally the best part of Resident Evil, GIVE US WHAT WE WANT!
In my head canon the evolution of T virus is : human => zombie => crimson head => licker.
You deserve more subscribers
I through the subscribe button across the room, Ky! Now my phone is broken 🤬🤣
All of this is gonna help loads with the re script I'm writing rn
Oooo that ending theme
The Red Head who wrote the letter in the end we've met KCMO in a FED bunker. Ward
4:36 fixed camera trigger my gag reflex
Thank you kindly
I still can't beleive it that i was infected by a virus, yet i thought it could happen in movies or games like Resident Evil. My dad had the worst of all and he's alright and all. Still won't forget of how we made it. But, disappointed that no zombie exits. Shame...
What’s the music at 0:40 onwards, if you don’t mind me asking? Pretty sure I’ve heard a piano rendition of it on several of MrCreepypasta’s videos.
