In this video, I’m going to attempt to recreate some of my favourite outfits from Instagram. So instead of just clicking through and purchasing the item, I’m going to have a go at making them instead!

I second this! This is such a great idea!! I think it's more sustainable and it's very charming to have a "homemade" item of clothing in your closet
I love that you use fabric from Spotlight. A store where I (and many other Australians) can get the same or similar fabric from to recreate these items.

Watching your jumpsuit video last week I was thinking about how I could alter that pattern to make a pinafore instead as jumpsuits don't suit me that well, and then you just gave me the answer. I love it! Your channel is great.

I have become very inspired by sewing channels to start sewing. I have purchased some fabric to make my first project, a circle skirt. I have a lattèrent but not confident the pattern allows for my waist measurement as well as the length I would like... anyway WISH ME LUCK

Peppermint magazine have some amazing free patterns on their website 😊
This is 2 years too late, but if you're still interested in free patterns that are modern and trendy I recommend Mood Sewciety patterns. They have HUNDREDS of patterns from formal to informal from undergarments to outerwear. I think they're pretty size inclusive too, but I'm not 100% sure.

How many metres of the first fabric did you need?
How ever long you’d like it to be + enough for the pocket and straps. I used about 1 metre 😊

Does anyone have an idea of how many yards of fabric I should order for the corduroy dress? I'm planning on making the dress knee-length and I am normally a size small.
You make the dress off your own measurements. So you will need how ever long you’d like it to be, plus maybe quarter of a metre for the pockets and straps 😊

Good question! Probably 5-6 hours? I made it over a few days and took my time with it 😊
