Senseless use of force on innocent civilians . Yet when they are needed to patrol our neighborhoods to curb crime they are no where to be seen. Kenya police need to be retrained and to be reminded that they are members of society with just but a responsibility of enforcing the law. They are not the law , neither are they above the law.

I feel for the young man Yassin whose life has just been wasted by trigger happy cops. Curfew doesn't require use of live bullets in the hands of rogue cops. There is so much transformation work that's required in our police service, especially those in localities that are economically deprived. I doubt the same behavior could be seen at Karen, Runda, Kitisuru, Muthaiga etc. The IG Mutambai, should just go back to the Barack where he was. Policing is not military and it deals with civilians and not enemy soldiers or Al Shebab fighters. President Uhuru needs to review policing and listen to experts not rogues like Matangi & Kebichi who are masquerading as security experts. We have lost so many lives in the hands of rogue cops while others try to imagine they're Sherlock Holmes in the manner they investigate crimes that end up more where. The curfew has already claimed two lives in just three days of it effectiveness. The president has to decide if he will have Kenyans killed by the police if Corona spairs us. Government squandered public funds on useless Reggae BBI fun fair and now there no medical PPE supplies to help medical personnel in their work of saving lives. A small land locked state like Rwanda has demonstrated what quality leadership isn't or is it?
