- We're finally in October, the month of Halloween (as if 2020 hasn't been enough of a horror show already!), so it's time for us to take a month-long dive into some spooky and scary films.
First up is a Vincent Price classic that sees him playing an actor taking bloody revenge on his critics. Filled with recognisable British stars of stage and screen including the late Diana Rigg, it features gory kills with a generous sprinkling of humour.

I love this movie and I can't see why it is so underrated...............
This is my third favorite Vincent Price movie! The man was absolutely brilliant! He truly was King of Terror!
The music in this film was superb........surprised that you never even mentioned it.
"The perfect amount of Cheese and Ham" .... like a perfect omelette! Vincent Price is such a Legend xx
I love this film, especially the bit where they’re sawing the head off and his wife tells him to stop snoring! I also enjoyed Robert Morley and the pie. It made me realise just how gory Shakespeare’s writing was.
I love this movie, Price is hamming it up hardcore! Wonderful stuff!
There is a very touching scene with Diana Riggs towards the end where she proclaims her devotion to Price with the word's of Lear's daughter. They played father and daughter so well.
Some of you may not be aware of this. There was a recent

just got this on blu ray - easily Price's best horror effort. I also love House on Haunted Hill
Great review of this wonderful black comedy. We watched in at a drive in theatre back in the 70's--I can still recall women screaming in their cars while Price was sawing that critic's head off, accompanied by that beautiful music.....
RIP Diana Rigg
"Hello, I'm Butch ..."
A great film. I love the scene where he's decapitating one of the critics. The music score that a company's the scene is lovely.
Love the classic hammer horror vibes, hope you guys will talk about Sleepy Hollow (1999) this month.
My favourite line from the film has to be after they kill Larding and Lionheart says "I wonder if he'll travel well"?
I like to think you put this one up just for me 😇
This film is awesome and Price totally could have donw Shakespeare!
