Daniel to Williams would be amazing. The team is trying to increase fan interaction with their podcast and everyone in the team being so active on social media and Daniel with Alex would be a wet dream for the PR team. Plus, DR will be better than what they have and he can help them evolve by just being so experienced.
I also think that the loyalty thing might not be an issue because DR has already left the RB circle so he isn't really sworn to them for life and he will be amazing.

@@KingHoborg I still think highly of LeBron, even though I was initially getting doubts about the significance of some of his feats when Daniel left Red Bull. It was hard to understand why Daniel choose going to Renualt, but when he then left again for McLaren it was getting clearer for me again how close to the absolute peak of human capacity LeBron's display of skill actually was. The recent speculations about Daniels future in F1 has only solidified my believes in that LeBron were constantly able to perform acts far beyond the boundaries of what is possible within the genetic coding of evolution.
LeBron is the monument to humanity not because he showed us what is possible for a human to do, but because he did more than that. It would sadden me greatly to see LeBron's greatness tainted in the eyes of the public if the rumours about Daniel going to Williams are true.

I have to ask, if Lawson is that desirable, why is it that no other teams are chasing Lawson over the other Junior drivers? The talk of VCARB being a junior team seems to be an idea being held on to by Marko to try to hold on to his influence, when the discussion from Red Bull has been that VCARB is a sister team. If it is true that Horner has won the power struggle, then the junior team idea is deadish, and it is back to F2 and practice sessions for testing junior drivers.

Vcarb can't be a 'junior' team if there's nowhere for the juniors to go .
The only reason for rumors about the vcarb seat are due to lawson ... what happens if he turns out to be no good?
On the note of perez pace falling off a cliff , if they get rid of Ricciardo and then need to move perez on , they really have no drivers to fill their seats (yes I know hadjar , he and yuki in the same team would be worse than the current alpine line up!)
Another point , if Ric drops the ball and perez doesn't improve , why wouldn't they catapult yuki into the seat and throw lawson in with Ric for Ric to train him? (This would be my choice if I were running red bull f1) if yuki fails he's back to vcarb and either of the vcarb drivers get their chance .

If he REALLY wanted to drive, he would have accepted the offer of either Audi, Williams, or Alpine a long time ago. He doesn't want to commit to any team until he's ABSOLUTELY certain Max won't be leaving Red Bull anytime soon. Even if Horner has already shut the door on him, he's still knocking on his door, hoping desperately to be given a drive. I fear his stalling might back fire. If i'm Sainz , i would sign with Audi or Alpine for 2 seasons. People were slamming Renault for hiring back Flavio but lets not forget he built 2 championship winning teams (Benetton & Renault). i remembered on a podcast interview on Nico Rosberg's channel he mention he doesn't know much about F1 when appointed by Benetton to be the team's Team Principal. In weekly briefings he would just ask the engineers what they need and set off getting it because he trusts the engineers knowing what they are doing. Alpine going to a Mercedes customer engine might not be as bad as it seems, this means that the money going to the Renault engine programme can be fully directed to the enstone base or to the WEC programme. It would stop the infighting in the team between the French and English side.

I think f2 champions need a seat, Drugovich and pourchaire are in a limbo in their careers where they don’t know where to go because they are waiting for a seat in f1 and the upcoming champion be aron or be hadjar but they still would find themselves without a seat, this year f2 season is very competitive and other drivers should get more attention too such as Bortoleto, Hauger, Maloney and Colapinto that have shown more speed and consistency than Bearman and Antonelli which pretty mich have a confirmed seat next year, it’s a shame that such talents are ignored

Ricardo is like a bouncing ball with his multiple teams. He should go back to a backup at RB in case the Perez plan implodes; Liam to his seat; and Bottas to William’s.
Solid guy, and Williams needs to be running better to take advantage of Daniel’s visibility. Bottas has strong ties to MB and vowels…his time as Lewis’s teammate gave him exposure to a well run team, and I think he would be a good teacher to Albon, and give him needed competition at Willams that Sargent can’t.
Daniel would truly be a distraction more than an asset at this particular time of rebuilding at Williams. Better for the team to stay under the radar for 2025, where every little thing would be embellished by those following Daniel.
I have been saying Bottas to Williams all year…gonna stick to my prediction. 🤙
PS - Oh yes, Bottas has become almost as much fun as Daniel now…that would satisfy the Williams PR group just fine!👍😁

I think their sudden interest in the junior program might have something to do with one Arvid Lindblad. He’s just equalled the F3 wins record at the age of 16, regularly beating his four or five years older teammates Beganovic and Mini (both of whom could and should be in F2) on track, on merit. That Silverstone double win with all the rain-induced chaos was sublime. Someone would snap him up asap if he got the Lawson treatment.

The worry I have with Danny to Williams is that he's got a very particular type of setup he wants in his cars.
    McLaren couldn't figure it out.
He managed to get the Renault to work, sure, but I don't think the Williams is quite where they were.
Now, given the choice of no F1 or driving a car that doesn't suit you, that may be an easy one. The flipside to this is that Albon was racing for the same team, and probably was used to the car doing the same things as Danny, so him having success could mean that Williams can setup a car for a former RB driver just fine.
    I dunno.
But what I, and probably everyone else is worried about, is seeing Dricc go to another team, and fall on his face, again.

The entire media gets excited when he gets a little ahead and manages to get closer to the Japanese driver's points. The point is: He shouldn't be in this position.
