Yes ! I use the little Grizzla placeholders, but not because I use the pads with other wheels. They are just helpful when you want to try a different position, but still be able to easily get back to what you had... My pads also hurt my shins a little on longer rides, but in my case I don't blame the pads - it's a little hard plastic ridge on the front of my touring MC boots that digs in, rather than the pads themselves.

Just a few words from Grizzla team, as we were not consulted regarding the issues Adam faced nor asked for our future plans regarding the Flow Pads system:
3:45 The primary function of Memoriser is remembering position of the pads in case you need to detach it for the transport. Having the pads setup on multiple wheels is secondary function here. We are using Memorizers ourselves which can be seen in multiple posts we featured on IG/FB
3:36 The issue shown in the video might happen if the hinge is not tighten enough or the knob was so loose that the nut on the on the other side can moved out of its socket, so it doesn't 'catch' while re-tightening - then it can be fixed by simply pushing the nut back in. The function here is to lock the pads position when detaching/readjusting the pad on the EUC, but with enough intentional force you will be able to push through the locking mechanism which is designed on purpose to protect the hinge
4:15 We also offer Grizzla Flow without reflectors, which are €189 for Big version and €169 for Compact
5:19 The Lockable Pivot's design doesn't allow the screw to protrude on the bottom side of the pad, so there is no need to worry about damaging your EUC while crashing with Flow Pads on it.

I LOVE my kinetic pads and bite system. Been using them for about 8 months now. I agree completely about the comfort level of the kinetic pads. Literally the first time I put them on my wheel I was blown away by how great they felt. It's like trying on a premium 100% heavyweight cotton shirt the first time after wearing a burlap sack all your life. They have the perfect balance between stiffness and comfort. I agree about the connector pegs coming out. I have to fiddle with them every few rides or after putting a lot of stress on them. Those could be better, but they are certainly not a deal breaker. I like the reflectors on the grizzla pads, but I'd also argue they look busy. The nylonove are smooth and very easy to clean. I also liked the registration slot on the grizzlas. I spent a while trying to get the perfect positioning for my nylonove pads, and dread when I have to pull them off for any reason cause I don't want to have to reregister them. Lastly... bite system is fantastic. It is the only system I've used that allows me to put the pads as close as I want to the pedals and still allow the pedals to close.

I use the tabs on my Grizzlas when I relocate the pads for different footwear.
I get no digging on the front of my Grizzlas, but I went for the option without the reflectors because I didn't want hard plastic parts where it should be soft.

Getting a splash of color on the V12. The mix of colors + sizes is a gamechanger. Flow Compact size for 3 pieces and Flow Big for the toe piece. Red+yellow rear pads, blue+green front pads. Gon look like a Microsoft logo xD Just hope the bottom pieces wont be permanently discolored by boots and dirt and mud in one year. Black would be the safer color.
The reflectors on the Grizzla Flow is just perfect to cover that piece of road legality. Another problem out of the world. Can't wait !!

    Hello Adam,
Love all your vidéos and advises, bravo and thanks a lot.
I just bought a V11 unfortunately just before the launch of the Patton and the S19, sight…
So I have to deal with it. I m just a 60 years old cruiser and just want smooth and safety ride with confort.
I made 6000 km with a Kingsong 14D and it s a big changement particularly on the weight of the wheel.
I noticed your advice on the comments of the Sai Pad Raid Trails for the V11 but I didnt find the « side fairing » on Huladj market that you mention, so I don’t understand what is it.
In regard that the Kinetic 2.0 looks the best confortable pads do you think that with the Fairing Plates of Grizzla for V11 (30/22cm, much larger that the Anypad), the kinetic could feet ?
Also I saw some green pad on your V11 on a video, looks the flex pad with anypad or flexpad V3 for V11 what do you think of it compare to the Sai pad (maybe better because more large) ?
There is also the flypad which looks interesting for the drive and break but I m afraid to get lock on the wheel on a falling situation.
For now I putted some Yoga carpet on the up side of the V11 but I didn’t really found any tape which glue well on this granular plastic side of the wheel.
Thanks for your time for any advises comment.
    Take care, best regards
    Stéphane

  • @giacomoferrariarchitetto

Hi, I recently got a Ks14d to learn the monowheel in anticipation of switching to a larger version soon but now my problem is that when doing 10/20 km rides I start to have pain in my feet and I have to stop to change position often . How does it work with wheels that have more range? do you rest your shins on the pads to rest during the run? Thank you!
