    Excellent breakdown my friends. My Kinetic 2.0s just came in last week and I am in love. I went with the large in front (acceleration) and medium in the rear (brake) for my EX30 and they are perfect with no overlap. Seriously couldn't be happier. I'll have a video up soOn... Cheers.

    Very informative comparison of some of this year's most popular side pads! I really like the Grizzla flow pads. I have Magicshine SEEMEE180 taillights installed in the brake pads. I had some adapters printed to fit them from a file on Thingiverse.

    Top topic, thanks for the excellent comparison. I use russian pads from one ride on my V11. Until now i very happy with it because i enjoy the free feeling and comfort, but after 6000 Kilometer and 1 year experience i have started to ride trails, jumps and dirtparks and find the limitation of the russian pads. It looks like the lock-in feeling is necessary to provide in short time the maximum acceleration or jumpability over obstacles. So i need to adapt and develop.This review is a huge help. Thanks again and greetings from Germany.

    • @2cells1pack
      @2cells1pack  Před 10 měsíci

      That's awesome. The Russian pads are very comfortable, but made for more casual riding. Toe pads / Jump pads help a lot when riding off road or on bumpy terrain for extra security.

      Or i need to get another wheel with new pads like patton, extreme, commander mini, adventure 😂

    Best reviews of different pads yet, although it would have been nice to see the curvature of the two better style pads. Also the depth of the top front pads, to compare which is deeper for your shins.

    I run the Clark C3 Biopads on both of my wheels now, switched from Grizzlas on the Sherman, and from earlier Clarks on the Nikola. I used an orbital sander to clean up the surfaces due to the roughness mentioned, which was a big improvement, though on one of my sets, the Z-seam still needed to be covered in gaffer's tape because it is in the middle of the braking pad where my leg sits. The logo placement is also a problem, agreed on that. I also didn't cut my pads on the lines, I cut them right down the middle, then radiused the edges with the sander. Having done all of that, though, these are my favorite pads I've used. Very secure and comfortable at the same time. No issues with them coming off, either.

    • @2cells1pack
      @2cells1pack  Před 10 měsíci

      good to know. I think i still prefer the grizzla / kinetic as I feel i'm getting better bang for the buck. Also with grizzla flows' modularity concept where lights and gopro can be mounted, i think it's quite versatile.

    I have the bio pads on my SS and have the opposite issue from yours. The Velcro is so strong lol. Thankfully I have them set where I like them, but man were they tough getting off as I was adjusting them. I also use Alien Ride pads. Very simple, but effective. My friends dig em.

    14:48 I think those grooves in the bottom are actually for holding your pedals in place, not for additional foot grip. I noticed this on my Grizzlas after I switched to a wider pedal and saw that those grooves actually held them up. Really nice feature.

    Wonderful review cells, I've been waiting for this 😊 i purchased the kinetic 2.0, it was a hard choice between them and grizzla. The lights were not as good as i thought, charge lasts not long and not worth it for the charge reasons you describe and what you get in return. However the 2.0 are wonderful pads.

    i have the og Cp...also the new kinetik 2.0 wirh pedals ..Bu I prefer the Og Cp just because I usualy put the wheel straigt behind drivers seat and CP have a low profile and the nikola can fit there .but Kinetik 2.0 are too wide

    After cutting the clark Bio, the front piece is easily ripped off the velcro when riding. I highly suggest that whoever is planning on cutting them off the rear from the marking, not the front.

    • @2cells1pack

    C'mon, a lot of effort sourcing Velcro ! By far the best (as any musician will attest to , used on every pro and respectable pedalboard set-up) is not technically Velcro , is 3m dual lock , any research and effort looking for anything else is just trying to increase the already huge profit margins . So if this "effort" is put into the price , then there would be no reason not to use the more expensive dual lock , as it's the best by far !
