You make great, detailed videos that are easy to understand. i subscribed today! Keep up the great work. I have my first euc arriving in approximately three weeks (Lynx) and i look forward to learning everything i need to know about working on, modifying, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading/improving my first euc, by watching your videos.
Thank you Albert!! I actually half cross threaded a screw on my battery box :(, god damit I wish I would've thought to just remove the bars and keep on the plastic!! Such a good tip!
What was the name of those pads at the end? B something
Beidou pads. Can be found here: ewheels.com/products/universal-beidou-6pc-velcro-powerpads-orange-backorder
doesn't look good, but probably does the job just fine. i'd consider buying a hot knife if i were thinking of doing a job like this, and practice on either a camping mattress or insulation foam first
Yeah, it's more about practicality for those that don't want to spend more money on pads.
this is progress
It was really good.
Getting there 👍
Thanks for the tutorial. I just got my falcon and I'm a new rider. I didn't see a manual in my box and I couldn't find any manuals online.
Awesome! That's exciting. The manufacturers are focused on building wheels, so don't spend much time on documentation.
Hello, is it possible to make a speed offer that doesn't exceed the Vygod Falcon speed of 30 or higher?
speed offer?
2C1P 👏
Nice, love seeing people learn EUC riding.
I love hosting events and seeing people’s growth
Community engagement is my favourite part of this hobby
Is it possible to fit a 80/90 pirreli angel on the lynx? Or should i get 80/80?
Yes 80/90 is the proper size
@2cells1pack Thanks Albert. I checked your description seeking for info on that angled tube steam tubeless tire bit. All the ones I found were straight.
Good vid👍 Not sure I like tubeless, more chance popping a rim seal vs tube. And why not rimseal like they do with tubeless car tires? Cheers
It has a pretty good seal
Hey! Love yalls videos! I was wondering if yall could come out with a video explaining leaperkims pedal assembly. Both from the ratchet ones that are on the patton to the lynx. Might be simple to yall, or even most... but imbeciles like me, a video surely helps! It's because of yall I felt confident working on my T4. When I did have it. Thanks again mr and miss!
A video regarding how to replace it ? Or what specifically?
@2cells1pack yea I guess how to replace it. Of course not just screwing a whole new pedal assembly to the hanger. But the pedal itself. Maybe go into a little detail explaining the ratchet system on the patton so the rider is aware how to reinstall it correctly. But to be very specific in regards as to why I'm asking is because the screw that protrudes from inner part of the pedal has become loose. Now I'm just not sure what to do with the nut and the screw. And maybe you could go thru it with the lynx as well if the resources permit. Thanks again!
How did you manage at 2.00 to have the wheel still and steady with the power on? Mine falls immediately left or right!
There's a hole in the stand where the wheel sits in perfectly :P
With my experience these wheels are more Android friendly than iPhone. e.g. I used an Android phone to revert back to an older firmware that didn't work on an iPhone.
Yes, definitely more succesful on Android.
Great video, I have my Lynx on order and should arrive any week now. the first thing i want to change is converting the tube to tubeless. i later learned that ewheels ships the lynx tubeless if so desired. that is awesome!
Yeah! Only tubeless for street tire - there isn't a knobby tubeless tire AFAIK yet.
OMG, 6:15 and the batteries are still connected! He's lucky he didn't get hurt. Next time, as soon as the top's off disconnect the batteries and power-on-to-drain before further teardown. PS: Thanks for the vid. :D
Great point!
Is there still going to be a Begode Falcon Tire change video soon?
Yes, at some point when I receive a different tire.
Very good informative video, just one caveat that many of those screws should be tightened with a torque wrench to properly secure them, the screws for the clamps over the shocks are 8Nm, the screws in the battery case into the shock are 11Nm, the top screws from the battery case into the controller box are 8Nm
Thanks.
This wheel is it, once I can finally afford it I've completed life
:) Great wheel to work on.
Good to know 👍
hopefully it comes in handy
mm its tubeless tire from the factory or did some improvements later?
If you order it with street tire - the tire is capable of tubeless. However, the rim is capable of a tubeless setup.
The answer will be written on the side of the tire. Either "Tube Tyre" or "TT", or, "Tubeless Tyre" or "TL". The Kenda 262 on my Lynx has "Tube Tire" written on it.
2C1P …what do you think about putting Slime in the tire as preventative measure to avoid flat tire on a vehicle with only one wheel (critical) ? Thanks ✊
I think these tyres are so thick you'd have to be unlucky to get a puncture.
I'm not a fan of slime
That's interesting. Do you mind explaining why?
Great to hear Ewheels is proactive on the trolley fix. 😊
They're quite proactive on fixes.
definitely approve that technique.Ill try that on my SS ..... although your V14 post was a cake walk
It was super easy. I was quite impressed
Thanks!
Thanks for taking the time to explain all the Falcon stuff, super helpful!!! 😀
Thanks Man! Always a great supporter of the channel.
yes, excellent work!
Many thanks!
Wellllll shittt i didnt need to fuss with taking off the left side handle bars pieces at all and the motor bolts lol learn something new everyday. Great video
Always looking for better ways to do it :)
Thank you for actually being the first people to show that you only have to remove the plastic mudguard holding piece and not having to remove the wheel nuts. It’s so stupid that other people who should have known better still removed the wheel nuts.
I don't like to remove the wheel nuts if I don't have to.
A must watch & a reference keeper tutorial! Bravo 🤘
Thanks scott!
Was that a wedding photo I saw flashed across the screen? Congrats you two and thanks for the Falcon firmware update. 6 pac Gord
Engagement shots :) Wedding happening in 2025
I'd leave the original for possible sale of the wheel diwn the road. I put Clark Pads Titans on it and they work well and even give you some overlap at the top along the control board cover so you don't have to use the ugly baby bumpers
Yeah, it's just another option for those who may not want to spend money on additional pads.
Is there any reason to update right now? Anything major? Just unboxed the new Falcon and that arrived today.
I believe there was some fix to the PWM calculations.
This update throws the wheel tilt off you can check by holding the wheel doing a turning motion (not riding) you’ll see the issues I’ve gone back to the original
Love the vids! Thank you for ur hard work! On ur video about downloading the logs, will it show the data from a cut out? If one were to occur? Thanks again!
It could, if the data was within a certain time frame.
So if someone were to have a real cutout, (like the wheel just turns off randomly) this will help you figure out what's wrong?
it could.
@@2cells1pack thanks!
If i ride on the previous 1300lb spring with the chamber wide open, would i get better rebound on the ds200?
yes.
Awesome detailed video. Saved it and shared it with friends for future reference. Only issue for me is I can’t find a replacement tube for my v12ht… any suggestions would be much appreciated. - Jordan
If you're in the US, eWheels has them: ewheels.com/products/16x3-innertube?_pos=1&_psq=16x3&_ss=e&_v=1.0
Ok so all was well till we turned it on…lol wheel went crazy. Did we do the wrong sides?
Can you tell me which product the tire is from?
The tire comes from the Commander Mini stock street tire.
Is it true that the Falcon hugs the side of the road too much (like the Z10 from Ninebot) which is surprising and very unpleasant (probably an effect of the width of the tubeless tire).
I haven't had an issue with train tracking or leaning to one side?
Can I use V14 original tires as tubeless tires? Where can I find the straight air nozzle? Finally, will there be any subsequent updates to this video using test reports?
I was doing this as a personal test. Not meant to be a formal test with reports.
Ok,thx.
надо колодки комплектоватьи покупатель сам будет крекпить их под свою ногу
What do you mean? The buyer can modify the pads to their liking if needed.
I really appreciate your informative videos. But I wish you had made this one more informative. The manual suggests damper pressure between 50-100 psi. Are there pros/cons of filling the damper to the low or high side of that range? Do the knobs perform differently throughout that range? Like does 100 psi make the adjustments more coarse and 50 psi make them more fine? Are there any other performance impacts between 50 psi and 100 psi? Second note, you had tightened the preload for Albert's weight (although it wasn't quite enough). Why wouldn't you reduce that preload for Christine before concluding that she would need a softer spring? I could be wrong but she would only need a softer spring if there still wasn't enough sag after reducing the preload to the minimum of what's needed for full extension when unloaded.
In the initial set up - the spring wasn't tight and there was some slop. This caused the suspension to not move fully upwards. I only adjusted the preload enough to make the suspension reach the top of motion. With the sag that I experienced, there's no amount of preload (as it's more of a fine adjustment) that will make the suspension good for me. I like 20-25% sag. With Christine, the preload can't be adjusted any less - and she only compressed <10%. For the air pressure, it provides pressurization to the oil inside that is responsible for the damping.
@@2cells1pack That makes more sense about the spring. I didn't quite catch that detail in the video. Thanks. So it sounds like you're saying the range from 50-100 psi doesn't act as any sort of adjustment. I figured there would be some difference between low and high. But fine if not. I mostly wanted to know if it's another thing to play with to refine the shock. Thanks again
It makes a small difference. At 100psi, I found that the damping would have more consistent actuation.
открытая подвеска-пыль грязь мусор вода-надо постояно чистить а это время и не очень приятная работа
The spring is exposed, but this doesn't matter. The shock is sealed? Your car has similar style suspensions where spring is exposed?
Uhmm?
yes?
Hey Albert, I am messing around with the new Falcon, and I cannot seem to get the wheel to stand on its own like you have- is there something I have got to do in order to get it like that? I got the knobby tire on mine.
The wheel only self-balances in the front/back direction. Side to side balancing is not controlled by the wheel.
Glad the flat happened so that we get the tear Down, and tube replacement, and found your channel, and I subscribed, things happen for a reason. Good job with the entire process. We need more content creators like you guys
Thanks for the sub!
I have a V14, and an Extreme is on its way. Love this video. Please do a tire change video for the Begode Extreme. 😊😊😊
I'll look into procuring an extreme for a tire change video.
@2cells1pack LOL. All kidding aside, you produce really great content. I assumed you have a network of EUC friends, colleagues, and enthusiasts that you tap into for all of the wheels seen in your videos. My apologies if that's not true. I'm not sure, but I don't think I've ever seen an influencer share much behind the scenes material, such as, who we are, why we share content, or just how hard it is to do (often the viewer doesn't know your story). Again, I appreciate you, and I apologize if I came across as flippant or disrespectful. I hope you never stop producing content. It's outstanding. Be well.
I just tried a falcon with the yellow spring, earlier today, it sags a touch more than I’d like for 180 lbs, but it was certainly rideable. I say you need the black spring if you’re over 220 lbs.
Yeah. Definitely if you're 170lbs and higher, you'll want to use the black springs
Coming from the motorcycle roadrace background, I can appreciate the separate rebound/compression setting but for an EUC, most, myself included, can appreciate the simplicity of one dampening adjustment knob, just make sure to choose the right spring, preload (sag) is the first thing that needs to be set.
I think its a good concession to make also. I think many people don't determine their sag properly.
Another awesome video. Thanks!! For aftermarket pads, would regular sized Grizzla Flow pads fit?
Yes, they should fit :)
