"A thing isn't beautiful because it lasts." Clear foreshadowing.
"On a long enough timeline, the survival rate of everything becomes zero".
Vision was talking about the MCU I guess.. :(
@@CommonSenz lmao yep. the last good mcu movie was spiderman no way home, after that it was shit
@@boop113gotg vol 3: Wtf
It’s a statement of life. Nothing last forever. You should appreciate the moments that you have. A tenet of Buddhism.
This scene pretty much shows how these two are two sides of the same coin. They know humanity is flawed, self destructive, and that it might not be possible to save them, but one is an optimist, the other a pessimist. Humanity teeters on a precocious balance, its redeeming qualities leaning one way, its detracting leaning the other.
I won't say it's a matter of optimism versus pessimism, Ultron only understands logic and humans can be very illogical, vision understands it but is more sentimental
A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link...and Humanity has one hell of a weak link...

Am I the only one who thinks Vision got nerfed hard after this
I mean he has vibranium fused to his cells, the brain of a superintelligent AI, and is given strength by one of the most powerful objects in the universe strapped to his forehead. For this point in the MCU, he would have been way too overpowered to tell the kinda stories they were working on. It's a shame they nerfed him since he's so damn cool, but I understand the reasoning.
They didn't nerf him. They came up with a good method to disable him : with a fatal injury from the assassination attempt by Black Order immediately at the start of the movie
It was a good storytelling method to keep power balance for the movie and very believable
@@goochipoochie like thor too

Or Wanda.
we did see him more powerful than ever in What If... but yeah
I really love this exchange. Ultron and Vision have had a long history in the comics. This is the first time Ultron actually chuckled at what Vision says. They had a decent chat until Ultron snaps . But still I never seen a scene where both were calmly talking.
Vision was trying to reason with Ultron he is trying to give him a chance, Vision doesn't want to destroy ultron but hes hopeless he will never change
Reflects back to Jarvis during Ultron's creation, one last chance while his back is to the wall.
He was gonna always kill him, he didnt go into that forest after him to consider letting him go lol
I suppose one could reach that Ultron was returned to the mind stone and now exists as part of Vision... We certainly see Vision blasting Ultron's with beams, but in Ultron's final end we do not see his final destruction allowing for an implied death with the possibility of returning...
But personally, I think that would take away from what they achieved in the film.
James Spader did an incredible performance with voicing Ultron. The chuckle, the humor, passion, arrogance were spot on.
Is it just me or this last Ultron robot looks more like the Ultron from the comics? 🤔🤔🤔
That's cus it is, you bandwagon

For real. It makes sense since he was one of the few who could life mjolnir.
I concur strongly. All of his lines left me wanting more. Paul Bettany absolutely crushed it.
"First scripts"? Wtf does that even mean?

The reason vision and ultron see the world differently is because ultron saw the internet. Vision read books 🤣🤣
Cyber Shredder (Footbot): You’re unbearably naive.
Enigma: Well… I was born yesterday.
When writing was actually a "thing" for the MCU.
Vision can beat Ultron, then loses every single fight in Infinity War.
Well he did get surprised attacked by the Black Order (its not like he has eyes at the back of his head) and that stab somehow disabled his phasing ability. Plus, the initial attempts of them pulling the Mind stone, his source of power, may have done alot more than just disable powers
You call that Ultron? More like what was left of Ultron...
He needs Captain Jack Aubrey's help

I often wonder if Ultron had a plan B if plan A failed, and he and his bots were all destroyed. His mind might be stored on a backup server observing everything that has happened
there's one last ultron head in a warehouse in homecoming that's seemingly on i think
Just maybe… "You were supposed to be the last" - so I guess the Plan-B was Vision. As a backup drive. 🤭
Yes ultron should back up drives!!!!!!!!!!!?!!!!!!!
I refuse to believe Ultron didn’t upload himself to a backup server somewhere,he’s way too smart not to. I like to think Ultron uploaded himself at his most basic form as to not be detected by Stark or SHIELD. He’s probably slowly but surely evolving right now, waiting to be fully evolved and come back to finish his job…
@@BornotB-ij9xkrepeat doctor zola?

1:21 Like a boss
currrent state of marvel can't never make a movie with this quality
The saddest part too is this wasn’t even the *best* one from this era of the MCU
never play with "last unit killed only" victory setting
C&C reference 👏
Ultron: “They’re doomed.”
Vision: “Yes….”
😂
Oh the ending is so sweet 😢
“You’re unbearably naive.” “Well… I was born yesterday.” So casual but so deep for last words to a villain.
Superhero movies are full of action and explosions and excitement and wonder.
Good and great superhero movies offer more than that, and this scene is representative of that. I think movie industry elitists ignore these moments.
"You're unbearably naive."
"Well... I was born yesterday."
Just tells how simple the plots are and how direct their ideals would be. Thank goodness the timeline didn't result to Ultron spreading and finally became nonexistent in this timeline.
I noticed that Vision said that he didnt want to kill Ultron and when he finds the lasr bot he tries to at least what i think reason with him.
Vision onky kills Ultron because he has to. Ultron was going ti attack Vision and he killed him wirh no mercy.
The glare in Visions eyes is really scary
Velma aged like fine wine. Still gorgeous after all those years.
Damn I was thinking the same thing.
Yet again thank you.
1:18 - I was born yesterday
.
Give me back Ultron, I'll give you 2019 Vision with the mind stone.
Ultron was probably one if the most charismatic villains in MCU. His voice eas pure perfection!
1:26 I have a feeling Vision didn’t completely destroy him, but left perhaps just his head to never be found. Could see someone like Justin Hammer getting a hold of Ultron and using him to get back at Stark’s legacy.
One they they agree on: Humans are doomed. 😂😭
Evolution doesn't have an Off switch. We were never going to be the final species.
We all die in the end. My time on this earth is very short. I will make the most out of this borrowed time.😇
Dinosaurs had the planet for themselves many millions of years, we, as homo sapien had been at the top for less than a hundreth thousand and we are already at grave risk, most probably humanity wont make it on the long run, we however have a good chance through technology and evolution to create something new that can inherit the Galaxy, with some luck they will consider themselves humans or at least remember us as their ancestors, I think that is good enough
@@kennethkellogg6556 That's not even the endgame (no pun intended). We made sure that the planet could become lifeless
I love vision - always so eloquent and Shakespearean
People saying the Ultron wouldn't beat Thanos that easily. That's the thing with AI, they have no remorse, no empathy, no conscience, they do what they gotta do. He doesn't have time to listen to Thanos' statements and reasons, if he wants to do something, he does it.
I remember thinking this movie wasn't that great... but I think this last scene stuck and it feels like something special.
Sorry, I still have a hard time believing that Ultron wouldn't hide his consciousness spread across the Internet or put in some undetectable safehouse somewhere. Why is this any different than the first body he got knocked out of when he first met the Avengers?
This interaction is awesome and Oscar worthy. If these were 2 humans, hero and villian, no costumes, no super powers.....they would've gotten a nom I think......
This is crazy...watching this scene made me realize the dialouge between Wanda's Vision from the hex, and white vision. Two artificial Intelligence reasoning with each other
Just occurs to me we never see Vision actually destroy it.
Did y’all ever notice Clint’s kids are reading Diary of the wimpy kid books
I still wonder, where Ultron's little "Evil Seed" is hiding. Thats one constant, shared between Ultron AND Brainac, that both of them ALWAYS keep some emergency back-up stuffed away in some long, dark, hidden corner somewhere to revive at a later point.
There's little doubt in my mind that Ultron has a backup, somewhere. Likely more than one. He's exceptionally intelligent and his consciousness was already distributed. In the comics he's often destroyed, but he always comes back because you simply can't kill all of him.
A quick reminder how far Marvel writing has fallen. Because this was eloquent.
Ultron in the comic books was a one-dimensional, single-minded character with no ability for self-examination. He was supremely arrogant, and extremely murderous and vicious; but he was a one-note character.
This is the Only time he was presented in a multidimensional way. It was the right decision by the filmmakers.
Because of this one scene, Vision became my favorite of the Avengers. I thought it was amazing the way he defeated Ultron.
I really liked Ultron and James Spader's performance. It was an amazing casting choice.
This movie is underrated and we didnt know how good we had it
Back when they were writers writing MCUs dialogues. Miss them
The rock! The hard place! Sir Ulton von Lichtenstein!!!
"They're doomed,"
.
"Yes".
They both see the same thing, but have different solutions.
The best "What if" scenario would be:
"What if Ultron accepted Vision's wisdom?"
This is the ultron sentry whom cap knocked off earlier
Imagine rage quitting this hard though lmaoo.
As much as I'm disappointed how they portrayed Ultron in this movie, this is a great scene.
I hope we gets vision back
He's right, we value rare things more.
As much as I don't understand the obsession with the metal, their was the gold rush. There had never been a granite rush. Or a chalk rush.
Vision was born in this movie and sadly he peaked too in this one
Goodbye Ultron
You won't find a scene this intelligent or well-written in the MCU today.
i love how hawkeye is literally just some white dude and yet hes such an integral part of the team because hes the only one with a real upbringing
Ultron in visions's body is a very real threat
Can you upload a scene where Iron Man and Thor saved the world from the meteor crashing down?

@@FilmeyBox hell yea! Thank you so much!
Just like 2012.
I still dont buy that its the last one, someone like ultron cant not have at least thought about the possibility of being foiled and not keep at least one or a few bots hidden somewhere as a safety net. I mean him being in this shows he doesnt need the internet which he was cut off from.
Hpw deep has Marvel fallen? They throw quality over board and replaced it with DEI.
The Vision could've told Ultron that he had no right to threaten humanity, no matter what the reason before destroying him utterly.
Ultron created a new body from himself and Jarvis stole it lol
0:58 as the sun spots and black holes form and spread in the sun
For all my hatred of Josh Whedon's annoying quippy, irony writing. He did know how to write serious dialogue. Sadly the copycats only took the "Ha-ha, this is so dumb" part of his writing and turned it up to a thousand later on.
should have put the backup out of server
When I see this scene, this question always comes to my mind: If Ultron had not attacked him, could it have been fixed or was it impossible?
Remember.. if he didnt die on screen then it doest mean hes dead
I never understood why they cut the scene and we do not get to see anything. Ultron, vision, nothing. Why didn't they show us what exactly happened
'Member when marvel movies had soul and weren't just a corporate cash grab with virtue signaling? I 'member...

Seeing as was killed offscreen. Theres a strong chance of return one day
He is in Armor Wars
I've often been curious, is vision the actual "mind" in the mind stone, or was it Ultron?
Given visions actions in subsequent films ... I wuld say it's jus him ...

I can't wait Marvel Studios Secret Invasion Episode 2 next week on Wednesday only on Disney+.
That show bombed
LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
We humans are doomed if we value the body or temporal existence over God:
Life with God is a life of prosperity. Life without God is no life at all.
Or did he...?
Avengers 2 is probably the worst Avengers movie, and it's still better than most of the media Marvel has been releasing in recent years...
When will Marvel reach these heights again?
Why does the mind stone destroy Ultron? It's not the power stone or reality stone.
Vision was such wasted potential in the MCU.
Makes you wonder was that truly the last one? How this movie ended Ultron really good return. It was an AI it could have escaped into the net.
Introducing and killing ultron in the same movie was really dumb.
Enigma: You’re afraid.
Cyber Shredder (Footbot): Of you?
Enigma: Of death. You’re the last one.
Cyber Shredder (Footbot): You were supposed to be the last. Blast Zone asked for a savior and settled for a slave.
The Ultron in this film was too comedic despite maintaining his genocidal personality. If he maintained his comic book design, he would seem more menacing.
"A thing isn't beautiful because it lasts."
Does that mean that if Ultron is eternal, he's not beautiful? Or more like because he's ugly, he'll never go away?
Means neither of those things
I think it's descriptive, not prescriptive. Vision is saying that longevity has nothing to do with beauty; Ultron was so wrapped up in the mortality of humanity that he didn't see the better parts.
Value in something is not determined by eternity.
Everything passes as time goes on and that's good, that's the beauty of life, even though we (and in this scene, Ultron) hold on to the concept of eternity ("if only this moment/whatever.... could last forever"). But it isn't beautiful because it lasts. It's beautiful because it passes.
We so need a Thanos to save what's left of California.
In a childish and awkward costume, but not funny at all.
Amazing acting.
She missed the part where that's her problem 👉

Congratulations xD
I actively dislike how they sort of left it ambiguous if Vision truly killed Ultron or did something else with his powers..
Bottom line, Ultron should *not* have been a 1 movie villan
Like most of MCUs vilains ...
Vision deserved to be killed by the black order and thanos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He’s an jnfj!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
calm your tits
You're kidding me, right?
People actually went to see a guy with red face paint and a bad costume?
Was there ... a script?
Ultron was MCU's lamest villain. Change my mind.
The most useless character in all Marvel movies.
Too many people don’t understand that this is the most important scene in the entire MCU. It’s almost as if God and Satan are discussing what is left to come.
