Recent subscriber. Really enjoy the way you explain and demonstrate how to get the most out of each exercise. Keep putting out the great content.

I love these videos
Usually I agree with Coach Greg, but each and every video about the best exercise for bodybuilding purpose, I have to agree with you.
Coach Greg answered not the question, he answered which exercises he likes the most. The question was, which is the best for bodybuilding purpose.
mid and lower traps tip. Idol Eric❤❤❤❤❤
RR>vanilla, and I just started doing cable flies on my chest days instead of dumbbell flows I used to do and my goodness do I now think and feel like it’s an amazing chest exercise! I eagerly look forward to them on my chest days now!
I had an "ah ha" moment when he asked if anyone has ever been hurt on the bench press... I love benching, but I've lost years of gains recovering from bench press injuries...
Weighted ring pushups are 🔥 phenomenal stretch and range of motion is brutal in the most amazing way
yeah lets go big guy
+ for eric for compare bench and flys
Hit Vlog Eric
You saved many shoulders today!
Seated decline cable Press is my fave.
Thank you guys. Your opinions help me make better training decisions.
Unless you’re on steroids or have bad form, you cannot hurt yourself benching apart from dropping the bar on your chest. Considering ego lifting to rate an exercise means nothing because that’s not the excercise. If you’re small, that’s the best way to meat on your bones. You will not get big if you are weak and doing machines all day
My pulley system has never gotten the type of attention it does now that I started doing many of Eric’s exercises. Focusing on stretch and TUT.
Tut is pointless
@@chilldoc9638 it is totally not. because mechanic tension needs tut to work. mechanic tension without tut is useless.
@@franzhulk2947 no, mechanical tension is getting close to failure where your reps slow down, doesn’t matter how long the set was
Respect America Eric Olympea Vlog
I’m inline with Eric
I mean its just not a competition is it
One is going based off of preference (nothing wrong with that but it is subjective) while the other is explaining the objective benefits and flaws of the exercise
So Eric all the way
rocky road & coach Eric
Thanks for looking after me Eric…. Barbells for me as you might guess are asking for trouble. I love standing push ups at an angle 📐 in my kitchen. All of the gym exercises for me are great except with barbells…. And my chest looks and feels great
I'm by no means a big guy(5 foot 10, just sub 200 lbs), but have been hitting the gym for 4.5 ish years or so and I have made FAR more hypertrophy progress through methods like Eric discusses over the last year or so of training blocks.
My chest is definitely my weakest bodypart, and since discovering the RP guys like Dr. Mike, my chest has made ridiculously better progress than it ever did 3-4 years of mostly benching/some accessory work. I still bench, and love to - you should continue to do ANY exercise you enjoy doing regardless if its "the best" - but just providing an anecdote of the larger RoM and bigger stretches being fantastic.
Yes flys are goated for chest growth
any exercise where you can stretch hold the stretch in a safe way and then push in your dedicated angle rather than fix way. Those are all great exercises
What about dips and assisted dips? Seems like the stretch at the bottom would be a great hypertrophic factor
Bench press is my staple chest exercise, with dumbbells. Dumbbells have a better ROM.
Team Eric; go stags
9:18 so all you invertebrates out there, remember to utilize your exoskeletons harder than the last ice age!
I was wondering if anyone noticed
ERIC....ERIC
Dunno what they are talking about, push-ups after a chest set feels amazing and pumps my chest even more
I used to agree with this but think about it this way if you are able to do any decent amount of pushups after chest exercises, you left reps on the table... or could have gone heavier
Greg is my dude, but my guy Eric REALLY explains himself well. With the body to match, I can't argue against him
Big Facts
Yup, and has explanations that make sense, vs “I don’t enjoy this exercise” or “I love doing this exercise”
Don’t get me wrong, Greg gives great workout advice. But he left a lot on the table when defending his grades in this series for whatever reason. Probably because he’s great at allowing his guests to shine. 👍
@@tfunkhou88yeah i feel like Eric rated them based on how effective they are and Greg based his rating off of how much he enjoys them. A bit different there.
Chest day is the best day boys
What about Chest press sitting position machine?
Any chest exercises with you know what milligrams can will do
Time to Build that Rack
I hate plain bench press, but really love inclined bench press. With dumbbells I still prefer the incline better. Just a little angle and my shoulders stay more stable and my back gets in a better position, with less need to arch too much. And you have better ROM. But of course its a lot about preferences
"Vector"
Rocky road dude. Cables and machines and push ups, are the best for me I don’t lift heavy anymore so my ranking will be different from yours.
Nice couple.
fax
Sorry Greg. I agree more with Eric about his grading. I never got much size out of the Barbell bench press because like you said, it doesnt allow you to get a deep stretch and use your pecs soley.
0:36 Greg got it right here. If you get hurt, it's because you don't know what you're doing. If you're just starting, you ain't trying to go heavy. If you're a pro, you better not be a dumbbell. If you have a trap bar, you can go from a B+ to an A because you can go lower on the descent and push up further than last time
u made no sense. Just stick to ur silly flat bench presses then. Have fun with ur injuries and lack of chest
chest dips?
best chest exercise with bench
Push ups. In the smith machine at the end of workouts. Start at bottom and work your way up. Failure each time.
If I can still push up after a set of chest flies, then I’m doing more sets. I go until I can’t push up.
Of course failure each time. I’m getting more into partial reps now.
👍👍👍

I disagree with the ''best exercise for ......'' thingy, why?
well because a muscle group! like it's revealed in it's name is a group of muscles, so to define an exercise as 'best' for a muscle group is not a precise way to explain what works well.
I honestly think such videos should be more refined, such as
''best exercises for upper chest''
''best exercises for lower chest''
mid chest,
chest upper outer definition
chest lower outer definition
chest upper inner definition
chest lower iner definition
etc etc etc.
You can do this for all muscles, no muscle GROUP is ''singular''.
.....ok rant off, back to normal, LIIIIIFFFFFTTT !!! : )
ok
Eric, all the way through, I think Greg is coming for more of a powerlifting background, not thinking about what works best for hypertrophy
Greg’s a more accomplished bodybuilder
Eric 100%
Dude this guy says vector force too much
"A ladyboy i slept with in Thailand" was oddly specific 😁
Eric is high
Remember kids these won’t work without the needles
fr
💪👈👌👌👌👑♥️♥️♥️♥️
Both are wrong. To get your pecs pumped up just inject more oil than last time 🤣
Greg is such a boomer
greg makes no sense..so u can feel ur chest in chest bench presses..but u can not feel much witb dumbbell presses? its usually the other way round for most people. funny how he prefers only flat benches yet hss a mucb smaller chest than Eric
Bench press for me is D
Smith machine press still D
Peck deck fly is B for me
Cable fly is A for me
Dumbbells press is A
Push up is D
w but bench press is a
Eric is too much for Greg
I’d have to disagree 100% with Greg on the barbell bench press. That lift is so dangerous, it isn’t worth it.
every exersice is dangerous if your a an idiot also all thos video of people getting injured are are becaus of ego lift
