It was a sunny afternoon on June 24th, 1947, and Kenneth Arnold was flying his small aircraft over Mineral, Washington. He was heading to Yakima but took a slight detour to look for a lost US Marine Corps plane. If he could find it, he’d collect a nice reward.
Flying near Mount Rainier, he spotted a shiny object in his plane's mirror. Then, he saw multiple flashes of light. It looked like a group of aircraft, flying in formation. But something was wrong - these 'aircraft' didn't have tails. And they were flying faster than anything he’d ever seen. After about two minutes, the objects vanished near Mount Adams.
When Kenneth landed in Yakima, he immediately told his friends and airport staff about his bizarre experience. By the time he reached Pendleton, Oregon, his story had spread. Reporters were eager to hear it.
In describing the odd movement of these objects, Kenneth said it was like a teacup saucer skipping across a lake. At that moment, the term “flying saucer” was born.
And over the next two weeks, events would unfold that would affect every person on Earth. And change the course of history.

I was born in Roswell and mostly grew up in this area. I'm currently living back in Roswell temporarily while I take care of some family members. My Great Grandpa George Boyse was friends with almost everybody that you talked about in this video. When I was in school and people started talking about this again, I asked him about it and he turned beet red and informed me that there were a lot of blankety-blanks trying to tell people what to do back then and he didn't appreciate it. He said the truth would come out someday. My Grandma Thelma, who was his daughter, actually told me a lot about what happened. He would get very angry when talking about it and just nodded while she talked. He passed away soon after that, but Grandma Thelma liked to talk about it. My Great Grandma Ollie would get frustrated and say she couldn't talk about it. It didn't slow Grandma Thelma down, though. Most of the stories Grandma told me were pretty much what you hear about what was supposed to have happened, but she also talked about how everyone was told not to talk about it and became very frustrated about the whole thing. I guess Grandpa Boyse helped deliver some things out to the base when it was all going on. Nowadays, Roswell mostly just uses the info to cash in, especially with the UFO museum and the annual UFO festival. LOL

His friend owned the funeral home, but he said that his friend was full of bullmallarkey and like to spin a yarn. Grandma said that some of what the guy said was true, but then he started blowing it out of proportion. My Grandpa Boyse was mostly upset with the military for coming in and threatening everyone and he most definitely did not enjoy being threatened. Grandma said he never saw any bodies or anything like that, but he did wonder about the coffin delivery and he knew Mac Brazel and was especially upset about the way he was treated. Grandma said that he was a real straight shooter. Grandma said that something definitely happened and it definitely wasn't a weather balloon.

Agreed, I tell everyone to watch this channel but I always make sure and say watch the whole video. I'm sure some people watch half of a video and do the whole "this guy is just a conspiracy theorist" thing and leave without realizing towards the end he always debunks as much as possible. There are hundreds of channels that talk about the stuff and don't bother mentioning parts are easily debunked, not a fan of that because it makes it look like anyone who believes it is just a gullible idiot.

Was waiting for this one. My father lived in Albuquerque in 1947 with my grandfather and grandmother. My grandfather was a chemical engineer for Dow Chemical in Michigan during the late 30s and early 40s. Working with Ray McIntyre, they rediscovered styrofoam, and Dow patented it. About this time, my grandmother became increasingly ill, and they were advised she had to move to a warmer dryer climate of face possible death. So he asked for a transfer to a climate with these conditions. They offered up Sandia Labs in New Mexico. I think most are aware of what Sandia was. Dow Chemical contacted engineering support to them at the time because they were using Dow's chemicals to make a modified version of styrofoam. One day, the government showed up with a classified project that had the highest priority. The teams were given parts of a whole to analyze and report the findings. My father remembers his father being very excited because it was something completely foreign he'd never seen. They did their job, turned over the findings, and everything was confiscated. They were reminded of the classified nature and consequences, then nothing more. Sadly, my father was only 10 years old at the time, and 6 years later, my grandfather died of cancer. It is likely due to the work on styrofoam. So the trail stopped there.
Later, when I heard the Bob Lazar story, it made a lot more sense to me. Something happened there, and it consumed a lot of assets in a short time to simply be a weather balloon.

@foxuploader Thank you. The world was so much smaller then. If you had a special ability, you were in a small group of innovators. That put you in the way of incredible things. He just happened to be at the right place and time. My grandfather's brother was head of Arthur Anderson in the late 60s and early 70s. He is still referenced in textbooks today. Helped right much of our early tax code that they have worked so hard to destroy.
I only wish I had gotten to meet him.

My wife and I lived in a small town Clovis NM it’s a little over an hour away from Roswell, one night we were coming back from Lubbock which is close to Roswell as well and in the middle of nowhere and I mean nowhere the nearest town of a hundred was 20 minutes away there was a spotlight from the sky searching the ground, the light was coming from nothing and it was dead silent besides our own truck. We stopped and watched the light for about a minute until it started upsetting my wife to much when she started to understand how weird the situation was.
Wow! Interesting sighting. I saw a triangular UFO with my best friend and she became really upset too. It happened years ago but she still won’t talk about what we saw, she just says, “drop it” and will not discuss it at all. I thought her reaction was strange but I now know it’s fairly common, it’s a hard thing to see and comprehend.
Lubbock isn’t that close to Roswell 😁 But it’s true that late at night sometimes there’s a light like that. When I’ve seen it, it is out in open spaces like the drive from Tatum to Clovis or between Tatum and Roswell.
I’ve also seen weird lights between Roswell and Cline’s Corners.
I’m from Lea County and now live in Lubbock.

Best coverage I have seen of Roswell. I have read a lot of books on the subject and the US Air Forces 2 books about it being a weather balloon. Even looked into the witnesses and found the same thing you did people changing their stories and people seeking attention. Your conclusion is spot on. We may never what happened.
Having grown up listening to roswell stories most of my life, the bit where they were able to enhance the text on the paper sent shivers down my spine. I'd never heard that happened until watching this.
Most of what went on at Roswell was on a need to know basis. Another branch of the military arrived before the retrieval team did, and the cat was out of the bag. The US didn't want the Soviet Union to know that they had high altitude surveillance balloons. Possibly capable of carrying human cargo and thus, the cover up began. A lot of image enhancements involve filling in the missing pieces with speculation.
You should research the Rendlesham forest incident. Hoe would an alien civilization get ahold of our ascii tables? The conversion from base 7 to base 8. The fact that the series of numbers was written down long after the fact. And where are the rest of the pages?
UFO/UAP is just a distraction to keep people focused on something besides what the government is really doing behind closed doors. Wasting taxpayers dollars on dead on projects.

Here is what I wish he would present.....At 6:00 he speaks of when they made the announcement of "flying saucer debris found" as you've seen many times when they show the actual newspaper headline. He is mistaken in that he said the news of it was released the following day as it was not. Well here is the kicker--in that article, which few ever read, it states that they, the army, had the debris in their possession for one week before releasing the info to the Roswell Daily Record(newspaper). Blow up or enlarge the July 9th ,1947 headline article and read it for yourself. So they had a week to study this material , the base having some of the finest mechanical and electrical and nuclear engineers on hand determined that it was alien debris and not remnants of a weather balloon. Think about the implications of that statement of fact contained in the headline article. It totally discredits the next day reversal of it's findings due to pressure from DC brass to retract it...and thus begins the cover-up which extends to this very day.
Most of it was fake news, he's just as bad as the others.. faking a story feels like 40-50% of this video was him saying fake stories and revealing that it was fake at the end🤦

Some stories like the Roswell incident cannot be proven or disproven unless the US govt eventually comes forward and releases any/and all files related to Roswell ! There is another POV regarding what happened at Roswell done by the scholar Joseph Farelle and he has a completely different take on this incident. You should check it out, its actually more interesting than the Allien angle...
Try Colonel Phillip Corsos testimony that he witnessed UFO wreckage and bodies being transported by the US Army in 1947 from Roswell NM. Corso served on the White House security staff and the Pentagon R&D section. Astronaut Edgar Mitchell confirms this as well when he met with Admiral Tom Wilson JCS.

As a former Air Force Intelligence officer, doesn't anyone find it weird two months after the Roswell incident in July 1rst, 1947, the United States Air Force was created on September 18th, 1947?
What about space force? I find the timing interesting. And then again, Werhner Von Braun said that a fake Alian invasion would be used to bring about global governance.
And as they decided to start to finally admit and leak out the start of disclosure, Ex-president Trump made a sixth and new military branch.... Space Force 🤔 humm now why would we need a new military branch and have it called Space force and dealing with our country's security issues way out there if nothing is out there.
Why, What, When, Where and How does our tax money get used to set up a new military branch, and we got no say so, no true information about it and what it is and does and yet look at it patch and insignia and tell me something isn't up.

I can only imagine the amount of work you must have done to produce this excellent piece. I hope you are successful with your goal for this channel. I'm 79 and I've been interested in the UFO topic for 50 years. I've been fortunate to have been associated with a number of folks who were deeply involved. So, I feel well versed on the topic. I grew up in Las Cruces NM, about 30 miles away from White Sands Missile Range. My best friend’s dad worked at White Sands his whole life. He was a very stern, no nonsense kind of guy. Right before he passed he told his son that Roswell really happened. He didn’t go into a lot of detail other than a ufo really did crash there that night and he had to swear to never tell anyone. At the time, his job was to track test missiles.

Yeah I've read everything I can about Roswell for many years & I believe that a craft did crash at Roswell. Too many witnesses, too many deathbed confessions. & I also believe quite a lot of tech was reverse engineered from this & other recovered craft. Probably advanced our technology by the equivalent of centuries in a few decades. The question is what does the US have in black ops. It's sure to be a lot more advanced than what's available commercially.

It’s always facts based & unbiased reporting for the most part and Any other questionable unanswered parts are left to the viewers to decide. Roswell is truly a fascinating story. I am a believer. Or in Mulder's famous poster's words "I Want To Believe". This is the best video that segregates fact from fiction and gave a very balanced take on the story.

My next door neighbor was involved in a serious car accident. Both legs were shattered and crushed, right arm and shoulder were broken. While in Intensive care a nurse played 2 episodes of the WFs. Almost immediately my neighbor got out of bed started walking around and was completely healed. The next day my neighbor competed in a 10 mile marathon and came in 2nd. This proves Why Files is the greatest channel in the history of the world.

I grew up in Roswell and my father knew the owner of funeral home. He said they told him to bring two small caskets to the base and supposedly he saw the bodies at that time. My father says something definitely happened - and he is pretty skeptical of most things. Fun side note - you can get on a bus and see the crash site still today. A friend asked the rancher what happens when normal erosion does away with the site. He says they bring a back hoe out and dig another one :)

Couldn’t help but notice the short clip of the Sweden UFO, bottom right of the screen 16.22. I came across it before on You tube and it is fascinating. His sister was driving an ATV pulling him on a sleigh through the woods, when he caught it on camera. He later released a video for the skeptics and sounded very humble and truthful about it.

Gotta do a part 2! Plus my mother was born in Roswell in 1947. Her father was in the 509th (navigator who trained them how to drop the 2 "bombs"). He passed in 88 but would never talk about what happened there.

While he may not have said anything directly, someone who has had their fundamental beliefs and understanding of the world permanently altered will reflect those changes in their beliefs and actions. You should ask about his habits. Was he a survivalist/prepper? Was he religious at some point in his life but not another? How did he react to newly introduced technologies throughout his life? Etc. Even the most reserved and secretive people leave breadcrumbs, be it intentional or unintentional, they will be there.
You should’ve included the most convincing & credible witness, Frankie Rowe when she was 12 years old.Her interview is on CZcams in a documentary called Roswell coverup 75 years later… her testimony is absolutely compelling as she literally breaks down in tears after not telling her story since she was a kid. Her father was a firefighter called to investigate one of the crashes with dead aliens. He went home and told the family about what happened. Few days later Frankie was with her father at the fire dept & one of the sheriffs showed everyone including Frankie the debris he snuck from the scene. She got to play with it, her description of the debris matches all the other witnesses. Later that week a military officer came to her house and asked to speak to the girl who was down at the fire station. He had a very intense meeting with Frankie and her mother where he told Frankie “that she was never at the fire station and hadn’t seen anything.” & that if she ever told somebody anything otherwise; they would send her and her family to war camps in Japan or Auschwitz’s or take them all out to the middle of the desert and kill them all & that nobody would ever find their bodies. She never spoke about it again , not even to her mother or father. If she was lying about this than she deserves an Oscar award because it’s the most honest, disturbing , and convincing testimony from that day, especially considering she was only 12 at the time . RIP FRANKIE ROWE ❤
I completly agree. I saw that documentary free here on CZcams and I really had to look at her multiple times. I think she is the most spectacular first hand Roswell witness of them all. Absolutly a must see for anyone interrested in Roswell. She lived her whole life a patriotic and very religous mother, and had to keep this horrible secret even from her kids and husband in fear of execution. Her own government, that she was taught to love and respect, threatened her with execution when she was just a kid. Can you even imagine that? She died without the apologies and justice she DESERVED. It is such a horrible shame on this country. And she was not alone. She tells her story so convincingly, you can feel the horrible intimidation surge through your own body. It is impossible to lie that! RIP FRANKIE 💗

How does a vehicle capable of interstellar space travel crash on such a primitive planet like Earth? That's the part I cannot wrap my mind around.
Here you have this super advanced space craft, something likely capable of manipulating space, time/gravity, capable of traveling many light-years in a short period of time, yet it crashes into Earth. Just doesn't add up.
I find it far more likely that the military industrial complex built a futuristic craft, stuck some fake gray alien looking mannequins inside and then had it "crash" in order to kick off their alien phenomenon psyop.
Awesome reference, multiple witnesses seem to fog up a story. When you just need one brave soul to give a honest account....
As a 24-year USAF veteran, I spent some time on an aircraft accident investigation team. Nearly every civilian eyewitness to the incident was incorrect, based on what really happened. Its not that they were wrong, its just they weren't familiar or trained on aircraft systems, so they often misinterpreted what they saw. This happens quite frequently. This is why police detectives rely on forensic evidence more heavily today than they do on eyewitnesses.
How could someone be wrong when they are simply just reporting what they saw?
@@jeancena3556 Fair question. As I described on my original post, what they saw is their reality and is valuable information. In my experience, its the interpretation of what they saw they was usually inaccurate. It's a distinction with a difference. Example: A civilian with no aviation or technical knowledge of aircraft systems might view an event and describe what they saw. That description may be very different if coming from the same observer who was a career pilot or an aeronautical engineer. That is what is meant by a "trained" versus "untrained" observer.
In the early 90's I met and got to know on a personnal basis Dr. Joseph Alan Hynek. We were involved on a concept for a film project post Spielberg's "Close Encounters" of which he was a consultant on. Hynek was an astro physist and head of Project Blue Book for the U.S. Air Force and was privy to classified information. I tried for the most part not to infringe on our friendship with too many questions but one night after a glass or two of wine over dinner, he confided that Roswell incident did infact happen.
I asked him why was our government so against disclosing this to the public? I'll paraphrase. "It's because the state feels that humanity is not ready for this, that religious institutions and peoples faith in them which is the bedrock of many people's existence would be rocked to its very core once they learned that there are civilizations far more advanced than ours in existence. It might create chaos, so better to deny until we evolve enough as species to accept another reality."

Watching this now. Researched this story for years now. I wonder if he’ll get into the morticians part in supplying “child” sized caskets. The nurses eyewitness testimony of seeing and smelling an alien corpse during an autopsy, her hand drawn depiction of what the alien looked like. Her disappearance after doing so. The soldier who rode in the back of a truck and took a peek at the small grey alien bodies even though he was told not to - and kept quiet but shared his story briefly with his daughter who’s video testimony is on the channel Eyes on Cinema. Or the youth group with an adult leader that approached and saw the crash and one kid even pocketed a small piece of it before being ordered to leave by military personnel.
Can you imagine the effort that is required to keep the truth about Roswell secret after all these years.....

This vid reminded me of what my grandad said about carswell" NASJRB" in FTW the day after the crash he was working grounds crew and a cargo transport from Roswell one of the people he worked with looked inside the containers that they were carrying which were LED lined heavy metal containers and his coworker looked inside and turned white as a ghost

Very intrigued by this story my whole life, as my Grandpa was one of the Air Force secretaries that replaced the one who was there during the incident, about 6 months after. My mother and aunt were both born in Roswell. He always said the same thing when asked “ah, nothin’ to it”, but my whole family agreed this felt like a very programmed response. Till this day I can find anything to do with him being at the base for any period of time. But my whole family knows he was there.

@@hcp8212 not ruling that out. Still, also not ruling out he did know something and was either programmed, or outright too scared to ever say anything to anyone. He never seemed to want to talk much about his time in Roswell.
That was pretty much the typical response growing up in NM. In Lea County people speculated more than in Roswell (from my experience).
People from Roswell; especially military families, often had a short response, like what you described.
This is why this is the best show on ANY PLATFORM… I learned more about Roswell here ( from all perspectives) than I have from countless documentaries and TV shows… Amazing production and I absolutely love that maniacal little “Heckle Fish”!!! Lmao

Also on the cooks guarding top secret stuff. That kind of thing actually happens more than you would realize. I was in communications repair. And at various points I was sent to work in a gym washing towels and cleaning, a cook, work as an MP, stand guard at various locations and lots of other random things. If a command is short staffed they send word they need bodies and bodies are supplied no matter what their MOS or even clearance at times. We had a room that required a top secret clearance to enter because of a computer set in the room. And the guy who stood guard was just a random Marine. Often on loan from an infantry battalion. He sat at a desk. You showed him your ID he went down a list. Found your name and the page number the copy of your ID was kept. And then verified that your ID did in fact match the one he had on file. I never asked what any of those guys clearance was but I doubt any of them had over a secret clearance. If they even held that.
Great breakdown on one of the most fascinating mysteries. I personally believe there was more to whatever happened in Roswell but at the very least it made UFO’s famous and we’re still wondering all these years later. Maybe one day the aliens will tell us what the governments don’t want us to know
