- The history of Baltimore & Ohio's Tom Thumb, the first successful American steam locomotive for a common carrier railroad. This is the one that started it all in 1829 in Baltimore, Maryland.
Around railroads, never be complacent and be aware of your surroundings, be wear of anything that can happen.

Looks like Lion isn't the only locomotive with an identity crisis.
Great video! I never knew that Hesson had a half scale model of this engine. Peter Cooper would also establish Cooper Union University, one of the greatest engineering schools in the country located in NYC.
