The Tom Thumb was the first American-built steam locomotive to operate on a common-carrier railroad.
We visited Hesston Steam Museum in La Porte, IN to speak with David Weber, who built an exact replica of this iconic piece of railroad history. Thanks for watching and make sure to subscribe!
We are hard at work on new titles for the Fall and Winter, so stay tuned.

Hi Jeff, I'm a huge fan of TM. I'm actually heading down to Hesston this Sunday. I really wish I can meet you and your father Tom at the I Love Toy Trains store, but I totally understand that the store is closed Sundays. Next time that I am in the area, I'll be sure to stop by, say hello, talk trains, and buy toy trains for my growing collection. Since I am on topic, I want to say a huge thank you to you and your father for these wonderful productions! I got started 19 years ago when my parents gave me a special edition vhs of I Love Toy Trains parts 1, 2, and 3. Since then I have obsessed with toy and model trains and I started collecting O gauge Lionel trains 11 years ago, one of which is my late Grandfather's Lionel postwar O27 set. I've also been collecting many of the programs from TM and I really love all your guys' work. I'm working on becoming a filmmaker myself and considering making film productions using my trains and layout once I get the basement done. Best wishes my friend and may the Lord bless you and your family!

TM fan Michael Foster here. You are doing a fine job on all your videos. I can't wait for Trains Are Cool Part 3! You know I love Lionel, MTH, Weaver, Atlas, Golden Gate Depot, 3rd Rail, Christmas, Case IH, Farmall, John Deere, Caterpillar, trains, cars, trucks, racing, flying machines, big machines, and cowboys since I come from Texas! I wish I could be in your next Christmas video. Along with Chris Raines and his family, Bill Yates, Eric Seigel, Jim McIntosh, and many more including the Chicagoland Lionel Railroad Club's new layout. I saw Cat self propelled wheel tractor scrapers and John Deere ejector scrapers being towed behind a John Deere 9570 tractor. John Deere has made self propelled wheel tractor scrapers like the 862 and the 762. You know I know it all!

Hello, I am curious to know if "The Wabash Cannonball" from one of your "I Love Toy Trains" video series sung by Fred Holstein is under copyright protection, or in the public domain? I would like to do a formal permission to use the song as part of my intro&outro sections of my train videos, if that is the case. I appreciate the response when you can, thank you.

I wonder if you can film & talk about the Lionel MPC Blue Comet, The Lionel Century Club 773 Hudson, The Santa Fe F3 with 5 Postwar 2500 series Aluminum coaches/Passenger Cars, The Lionel Grey 785 Hudson, czcams.com/video/ky1GGZ8_0F8/video.html, I've just heard that it sounds like an MPC steam engine because of the sounds heard from the engine but sounds good. and even the Prewar Rail-Chief Hudson with the red and maroon streamlined coaches/passenger cars. I call them coaches for correct reasons.
