GCR 125th Anniversary Event - Sunday 17th March 2024

This is a compilation of clips from a special event at the Great Central Railway celebrating 125 years since the original GCR opened. The railway centre at Ruddington was open with a connecting routemaster bus to Quorn & Woodhouse station. There were also trains running on the branch line to Mountsorrel. This was the first of many joint events between the main GCR (Leicester North - Loughborough) and the GCR Nottingham, which is a big step towards the eventual reunification in, hopefully, a couple of years.
