Finally!!. Is bush mechanics at part 2 ??
@@Splina. Doesn't work, it doesn't explain exact numbers for bush camouflage. We know they aren't solid and you can still spot someone behind a bush even if it's not transparent, I want to know how much camo it gives me exactly. Nothing better than knowing how far I can push my HT up the hill in prokhorovka before the guys in front of me can see me.
I remember reading there are two classes of bush, long time ago : light and full.
How do I know which class is the one I'm in ? I don't, as no example was ever published AFAIK...

*Small tip:* You could make the game more beginner friendly by integrating such videos into the Boot Camp. If a beginner has watched the whole thing completely, he'll get a camo net for free.

hey WG, finally you are doing this, and you need to do a lot more videos that explain mechanics in game, cuz i think that only above avarage players know this and we found infromation ourselfs
i know just from few friends tha play that even avarage players dont have firm grasp on BASIC machanics
you should include explaining mechanics in battle training (tutorial) and not just teach how to point gun in general direction of target and pres left mouse button

5 years of playing this game then l finally find out that we only have to apply camo paint on the hull. Turret and gun camo only for aesthetic value! This is the most useful 13 minutes l've spent on CZcams!
I don't want to be negative, but they've said this when they reworked camo patterns and added paints.

Please explain spall liners more clearly.
As someone who likes to play derp heavies, I second this.
Doesn't it already explain itself? 10% less stun when hit, 50% protection versus HE and from crew damage, right?
Spall liner increases the armor you got against HE/HESH, so for example someone hits you on your 200mm upperplate the (heavy) spall liner will increase your armor by 50% (percentage depends on what type of spall liner) on the spot you got hit BUT this is only affective if you get hit by HE/HESH.
If the HE/HESH shell penetrates it will do full dmg (NO REDUCTION EVEN WITH A SPALL LINER!).
So in short: it's more useful on heavy armored tanks like the Maus, Type 5, T95. Although I do not recommend using a spall liner as it isn't really effective.
@@Darren_v It's pretty useful on some tanks, for example i use one on my Tortoise together with a premium med pack, which gives +65 % protection to my crew, which in practice means that i barely ever lose crew members and dont even have to use med pack. Plus the stun duration reduction is nice as well, although it's not that much.
@@kelogorn Definitely, Once I manage to unlock some of the slower, heavier vehicles a spall liner will be choice equipment given all the artillery nonsense and derp guns. Even non derp HE spam from tanks that cant pen your angled armor will be mitigated a bit, and big heavy vehicles need all the survivability they can get. I would honestly give up vents for it.

I didn't know that part about different concealment values for different gun types or calibers as well as burning vehicles.
Is there any delay for camo stat to change from moving to stand still ? Like when i moving and stop right before a light tank come to the 445m, does the light tank will spot me instance be cause i just move or he must travel a while more to spot me?And how long the camo drop after firing to change back to normal?How long for the bush if it transparent?

it doesnt work on many maps (broken bushes on prokhorovka hill, fishermans bay mid etc)
bigger tanks do not necessarily have lower static camo factor.
I have extreme camo on my bc12t.
The introduction of tier x light tanks makes players to let go of the idea of concealment. Except Swedish TDs

How long after firing does the tank regain its "not firiing" (full) camo values? In an example, I shoot, dont get spotted and how long should i wait before further action to have again my full camo values?
Same question for the movment, If i stop, do i get my full camo values imediatelly or after certian time?

Crew mechanics would be nice like how should I transform them from one tank to another. And what crew members should I let go/keep
Does it mean that open top vehicles i.e. Type 64: Hellcat; Rhm etc, have a disadvantage because they can not equip Vents? Or is the % increase that vents give on the camo value automatically applied to the open top vehicles? And if not why not?

*Looks at T-100 LT, which has less view range than some Tier VIII heavies*
And IS7 with decent crew skills will easily have max view range

Could you make a vid about crews, dont know if I do smth wrong, but when I'm grinding a line, and use the same Crew, it takes me ages, untill its back to 100%.

Hello! If stopped with any tank, but not LT, how many seconds to got a stopped tank 100% camo, and if shot how many seconds to got again 100%?

Hard to have questions when there is another part coming, or is that not made yet and you want to know what people wonder about maybe?
Well here is one, more of a statement then a question though, how come you did not mention max spotting distance (445 m) and how it works if the view range of a tank is over this distance and it actually helps with spotting.
Finally, I always wondered how camo factor works...

Oh now I get how it works, I didn't know how it was possible to not spot an O-I in the middle of the town 300 meters away from me without any bush or camo net or camo on him. It all makes sense now. I am ILLUMINATED! :O
i have a question : in video you say that all bushes works is it really true? how can i recognize which bush works and which do not? Because there are lot of bushes which do not works and they are just garbage on the map. Thank you for your answer!
depends on the thickness of the bush

This needs to be in game, not mainly in yt, cuz if player would like to learn and this stuff isn't in game they will definitely go on and learn from another players (yt, twitch, etc.) and wail it maybe good, it makes your game look bad for not giving proper tutorial to new players and some of players maybe not be so eager to go and learn if it is not available in game.
I thought I knew all the mechanics but the special lack of camo for O-Ni and some Light tanks having less camo while moving was news to me. So what light tanks are they talking about?

Can you explain bushes more in depth, because it is not known by many that different bushes gives different amount of camo bonus.

Tell us what bushes have what camo values. I know some bushes have almost 0 camo bonus even tho they are pretty big, some are so good you get spotted only on proxy. Also a lot of bush camo values changed after 1.0, why?
