I think my favorite quote from A New Hope has to be "Into the garbage shoot, fly boy!" Although pretty much any of Leia's sass has a special place in my heart. "Governor Tarkin. I should have expected to find you holding Vader's leash, I recognized your foul stench when I was brought on board." Just, *chefs kiss*
Yes! She is absolutely brilliant! We really liked sharing our favorite quotes and will definitely be doing it again for TESB.
"Aren't you a little short for a stormtrooper?" Love that quote it sets the tone for bossy no nonsense Leia I think.

Hi girls. Love the show 💕Just wanted to know if you noticed that when they were in the garbage chute Han kept picking up Layla. and getting her up out of the way. They were arguing the whole time , but he was still there helping her. When Luke was yelling for C3 PO to help them, Han was in the background lifting Layla up on top of the garbage to get her safe. I think he was sweet on her even then. 👍

Fun fact.... Han calls jabba a wonderful human being.... Cause in that original scene... jabba was cast and played as a human. And when they added the cgi jabba slug they had to edit Han stepping on his tail cause originally Han just walked around the guy who played jabba. 😁

I think Owen is being good protective because if he let Luke join the academy sooner or later he would catch the eye of Vader. I think he wanted to keep luke safe and in owen’s defense look what happened to the jedi they got wiped out and he doesn’t want Luke to get hurt. So what has the jedi order done for anyone is owen’s life? Anakin is “dead” and Ben is a friendless hermit on the edge of society. Can’t blame him for not wanting luke to turn out that way which ironically he does.
So luke joins the imperials and likely gets turned to the dark side without ben’s intervention or he learns how to be a jedi and ends up dead or a hermit. Can’t say I blame Owen for wanting to keep Luke at home.
It’s a hard life for a moisture farmer but it’s good honest work that doesn’t get you or anyone else killed
I mean it all depends on how much Owen knows but look at Ben, he’s literally a hermit in the desert how is that life goals?
Hi! Thanks for watching! I agree with you that he was trying to keep Luke safe, but I also think that he was prolonging the inevitable. Luke was growing up and he wanted to get out there and live out his dream. I think there are ways to protect your children, or those that are like your children, and support them at the same time. I think that Owen should've been more open with Luke about his past to prepare him for his journey ahead and what he may face. These are just my opinions though! -Jenmarie
@@kybersisters5304 I love that idea ❤️ I think it can be a little of both. Even Ben “lied” to Luke int be beginning because he wasn’t ready to know who vader was . I don’t think Owen had the ability to prepare him. I Hope I didn’t come off as aggressive just expressing my thoughts.
